Wonderful Property!

This condo has been exquisitely updated. Truly beautiful. I was worried the ocean view would be obstructed being a side view, but it was awesome. So, having both ocean and city views was special. The ability to truly have the “outdoors in” with the fully extended sliding doors was also a huge plus. The condo was appointed with everything you could possibly need. A perfect stay in a great location. Thank you!!

Perfect spot

We had a 4 night stay at this lovely condo! The listing is accurate! The views are spectacular and the finishes and furnishings are top notch! When we arrived the property manager brought us in through the parking garage and it definitely took away from the experience but once inside unit 818 all was good! The beach is at the base of the elevator and they have beach chairs and umbrellas for you to use or you can rent preset chairs! The water is beautiful and you can walk down the beach to other hotels and restaurants. The Friday night fireworks from the balcony were fun! The beds were so comfy and the kitchen was stocked with everything for cooking! They thought of everything! We walked to many places in the neighborhood to eat and shop! We rented a jeep and had parking in the garage that was safe and so convenient! Couldn’t have asked for more!

Exceptional Vacation Rental

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Waikiki Shore Unit 818 is my favorite vacation rental by far! I've stayed at numerous luxury rentals in Mexico, Texas, and Louisiana but this one takes the cake. Check-in with Paul was easy and quick - he was a very friendly and knowledgeable host. We didn't need anything during our stay but I'm sure he would have been responsive if we did. The condo itself is impeccably designed with a great combination of mid century and island themed decor - it totally works! The view from the lanai was outstanding - you could see the city skyline, Fort Derussy Park and the beach all at once. The fact that the glass doors open up all the way around the condo is amazing. The breeze that comes in was lovely. The way the condo is situated, it stayed quiet and shady most of the day. Kalia Road isn't terribly busy and Fort Derussy Park was quiet too. The view of the Friday night fireworks show at the Hilton was the best seat in the house! We watched it from the living room with all the glass open - incredible.The beds and linens were comfortable and immenities were thought of in advance: plenty of beach towels, tote bags, a hair dryer and a curling iron. It was nice not having to pack and travel with those items since they were provided. Each bedroom had plenty of bureau storage and hangers for clothing. It was also nice having a laundry hamper in each bedroom and a dedicated laundry room with a full sized washer and dryer.The kitchen was well laid out with a sub zero fridge, Thermador gas range, dishwasher, KitchenAid microwave and coffee maker. Plenty of dishes, cookware and drinkware. It was nice sleeping in and cooking our own breakfast every day.Perfect location to access Waikiki Beach, Fort Derussy Beach, Ala Moana and Honolulu Harbor. The best ABC store is located a block away in the 200 block of Lewers Street - it's a bigger store that cooks breakfast, lunch, better snack/alcohol selection and their own Dole Whip machine. Heaven.

This property had lots of positive attributes: - Nicely updated - Friendly property manager - Convenient location, though, I would recommend walking just a bit north if you’re looking for a good beach close by. The one directly in front of this place wasn’t quite as good. - Extremely clean - Parking provided It was our first trip to Hawaii and we loved it. We knew parking was space on the island but didn’t realize just how bad it is. Fortunately, this location has an underground parking garage with an elevator that you can conveniently take up to the floor of your room.

Beautifully renovated condo with amazing views and a great location

This 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo at the Waikiki Shore was perfect. The finishings are elegant and of very high quality - the pictures do not do the place justice. There are floor to ceiling sliding glass doors surrounding the condo that open to a comfortable balcony and surrounding views. There are lovely touches everywhere, like the beach equipment, the day bags, and the towels. The condo is centrally located and there are many dining and shopping options around. And the beach is right behind the condo. All in all, a great experience.

Walking in upon check-in (which was a great process and so nice to have a person to show us around when getting in) to big open walls of windows was amazing and set the stage for a wonderful 4 nights. It is rare for me to be content spending time in a rental, but this place was a destination itself. We have 4 kids and actually really enjoyed the smaller beach area out front as there were other people there but it never felt crowded like further down Waikiki beach feels. Our kids were able to play catch with a football any time they wanted without trouble. Sunset view was perfect from the balcony and also loved the great view of the city at night. Cannot rave about this rental more.

Beautiful Location

The place was immaculate. It was exactly as shown. Very high end. Very clean. Designed for comfort. The best views. Paul was so very nice and met us at arrival. We were so exhausted from flight delays and lack of sleep. We truly didn't appreciate the overall grandness of the place and the views until after a good night's sleep. This place is PERFECT! Besides the interior comforts and attention to detail. The location, the views cant be beat! There is no other place I would stay, ever!

Just what we had hoped for!

We really enjoyed our stay in this condo. The property more than lived up to our expectations--very stylish and all of the finishes were impressive and made us feel at home. The location is amazing--we were able to walk to a lot, and the very convenient parking also made it easy for us to have a rental car to explore Oahu. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed the rental property. It was way more than expected. High end appliances, furniture and fixtures, and everything you would possibly need to feel at home. The view is stunning and extremely close to all the restaurants, shopping and is right on the beach. The teriyaki steak place at the bottom of the building was outstanding, and there was also a really good smoothie place and an ice cream shop. Several ABC stores within walking distance. Don’t miss the Ruby Mazur(designer of the famous Rolling Stones tongue) gallery right down the road if you are a music fan. That place is amazing and Ruby’s son gave us a demonstration of how the paintings come to life with blacklight. Starbucks is right next door in another building and Fort Derussy Park on the other side. Parking is right across the street which is a really nice amenity given the cost of parking around Waikiki. Just a really well thought out rental property. Will definitely return one of these days.
