Horse Nest ist eine wunderschöne Luxus-Studio-Hütte, eingebettet in eine wunderschöne und friedliche Umgebung. Beitritt zum Ouachita National Forest. Genießen Sie die voll ausgestattete Küche oder kochen Sie draußen auf dem Grill und essen Sie um die Feuerstelle oder neben dem schönen Kamin im Freien. Entspannen Sie sich dann am Feuer im fantastischen Whirlpool oder spielen Sie eine Partie Hufeisen. Es verfügt über ein großes Kingsize-Bett, einen großen Flachbild-TV und eine Spielekonsole. Entspannen Sie sich in Komfort neben dem 2-seitigen Kamin. Privat und doch in der Nähe aller Unterhaltungs-, Restaurants, Golfplätze und des Yachthafens. Horse Nest wurde für zwei Personen gebaut, um dem Alltag zu entfliehen. Aber es hat ein kleines Loft, in dem ein paar Kinder schlafen können, wenn Sie keinen Sitter finden und einen Familienaufenthalt haben möchten !!!

Disappointing Cleanliness & Lack of Resolution

Our stay was unfortunately marred by significant cleanliness issues upon arrival. The bedding had visible hair, grass, and dirt, requiring my husband and me to strip, shake out, and wash the sheets ourselves before use. As a result, we were unable to sleep in the bed on our first night and had to resort to the couch and recliner instead. A clean bed upon check-in is a basic expectation. I reached out to the host, Denise multiple times regarding this issue and requested a reasonable refund for the first night, along with the cleaning fee with no resolution or response to my last 2 text messages. I do believe this matter should have been handled more professionally, including a direct phone call rather than only text messages.I would caution future guests to confirm the property’s cleanliness standards before booking, as this experience did not meet expectations.

This cabin was perfect for my wife and I. The cabin was very nice, clean, and well stocked. I have no complaints whatsoever. I wouldn't recommend the cabin for a large family but its perfect for 2-3. Thanks again.

Front & back porch was dirty, there was not two king beds which was ok for us but it’s miss leading on the web site. If you are older as we are, the driveway is rocky and very narrow, so larger vehicles are hard to get in and out of the driveway.

Wonderful

Beautiful cabin, perfect for a couple needing a getaway. There was a minor mix up as she has two identical cabins in the same road. The navigation brought us to the first cabin and we should have been at the second cabin. The owner was wonderful and answered any questions quickly! We had everything we needed in there!

Overall stay wS outsdanding. Loved the cabin and the area. The only issues was the hot tub water had an odor to it and we found one dead roach and one live one. They were the black roaches. We both would recomend to friends and stay again ourselves.

Nice but no real privacy outside

Very nice cabin, just wasn’t aware when renting how congested that area was there was so many cabins in such a small area, definitely glad there was curtains on the back porch cause the pics are misleading the cabins behind are a rock throw away an those cabins can see right into your back porch. Very nice & clean cabin just thought it was way more secluded pics are definitely misleading cause we were looking for more privacy, was like a camping ground everyone was right there & a few were blaring music until 1-2am both Friday & Saturday night.

The trip I will never forget!!!

First walking in and seeing how you have it decorated and the country , southern kind of feel is awesome. The kitchen is the right size , just enough. The bedroom is very romantic and appealing to the eye. A women always love a bedroom by a fireplace it just spells, sexy , cozy, romantic ..let's get it on 🤦‍♀️🤣 etc. NAILED IT!!!! The bathroom is very put together as well. I love the teal bowl in the bathroom and faucet. NAILED IT!! And the shower OMG!!.😍 It is very big and spacy and I'm pretty sure , your going to get stories about babies being conceived.🤷‍♀️😂 The longer you stay in the business. NAILED IT!! Going to the outside the TV and fireplace gets 5 stars also. And the curtains , love the curtains and privacy. Overall is was one of the most romantic experiences I have had at the cabins. I will be recommending and telling every body about your wonderful cabin. And Denise ..what can I say... shes the Bees Knees!!! Very hands on, quick responses and a joy to chat with. BOOK IT!!! BOOK IT !!! If not your missing out!!!

Anniversary trip

As much as I wanted to give this property 5 out of 5 I can’t. When we arrived we were greeted by the wifi/ maintenance guy, he stated he couldn’t leave until he was done or we wouldn’t have wifi. This was well past check in time because he was told by the manager that we would be there late anyways, they assumed we would be late.. we did get there an hour late because we were traveling and we ended up lost but he was there an extra 30-40 mins!! There was a lot of little things wrong with the cabin that I won’t mention since I did bring it up to the manager and she said they would be fixed. Today 25 mins before check out a gray SUV Pulled up (I assume the cleaning crew) and basically parked in the driveway waiting for us to leave of course we felt obligated to leave so we finished packing up the car and left. One thing that y’all should know before renting if you have kids, the shower area doesn’t have a door, not even a curtain. The bed is very uncomfortable I am not sure if it’s the mattress or the actual bed frame but you will slide and end up in the middle of the bed… yes the mattress is caved in and just to end this review you will be woken up at 7am to the sound of loud banging due to construction.

Absolutely NO PRIVACY

NO PRIVACY at this cabin. My wife and I wanted a place that we could get away and have some time for just us. We scoured VRBO and came across this cabin. The listing advertises that it is “private” and where “two people to get away from it all”. That can’t be further from the truth and we were extremely disappointed. There are other cabins in VERY close proximity and the back porch and hot tub offer NO privacy. From the hot tub you are so close to the next cabin that you can see everyone inside and easily see what they are doing. The neighboring one is also a much larger, multiple storied, family cabin, so they can look down on the back patio/hot tub with ease. The neighboring hot tub is also even closer than the cabin, and again with a direct line of sight. Close enough that you can not only see them but also hear what they are talking about. All these cabins appear to be owned by same people so it is not like the layout was something they could not avoid. We have rented in the area several times and have never seen a cabin with this little privacy from those around you. Now this cabin, inside, is absolutely amazing. It has everything you would want. The bed is large/comfortable, the linens are amazing, the shower was phenomenal, the living room furniture was super comfortable, and the kitchen had everything you could want. If I was rating the interior of the cabin only I would not hesitate to stay here again. However rating the property as a whole, I would choose elsewhere because of there being absolutely no privacy outside. We had planned spending most of our time outside on the back porch and in the hot tub but sadly we felt uncomfortable being out there. It seems that the cabin which had been there was upgraded to this new one last year. Many reviews mentioned privacy curtains for the back patio but that must have been on the old one as this had nothing like that.

Great getaway in the woods of Oklahoma. We would recommend this cabin for any couple looking to step away from the common stresses of life. A cozy cabin for two that truly allows for a reset retreat!
