Das Anwesen befindet sich in Gehweite zum Strand, dem Naturschutzgebiet Torrey Pines State und einer Vielzahl großartiger Restaurants. Die Innenstadt von Del Mar mit ihren wunderbaren Strandrestaurants, hübschen Geschäften, dem L'Auberge Hotel, dem Del Mar Plaza, den malerischen Seagrove- und Powerhouse-Parks, den Stränden und der nahe gelegenen Rennstrecke Del Mar erreichen Sie nach etwa 5 km.
Dieses individuell gestaltete Studio ist entweder wöchentlich oder monatlich verfügbar. Eine geräumige Außenterrasse, nur wenige Schritte entfernt, bietet einen herrlichen Blick auf das Meer, die Lagune und das Naturschutzgebiet und ist der perfekte Ort, um den Sonnenuntergang zu beobachten, Vögel zu beobachten oder sich mit einem guten Buch in der überdachten Lounge zu entspannen.
Das Interieur ist gut gestaltet und hübsch eingerichtet und mit geschmackvoller Kunst und luxuriöser Bettwäsche dekoriert. Die Küche enthält einen Zwei-Flammen-Herd, einen Kühlschrank, einen Heißluftofen, einen Toaster, eine Mikrowelle, Kochutensilien und eine schöne Auswahl an Töpfen und Pfannen. High Definition-Programme können auf einem 40-Zoll-Flachbildfernseher angezeigt werden. Ein hochwertiges Soundsystem kann mit persönlichen Hörgeräten verwendet werden. WLAN ist in der Unterkunft verfügbar.
Dies ist ein außergewöhnliches Grundstück in einer fantastischen Gegend am Ende einer ruhigen Straße neben dem Naturschutzgebiet.

Amazing location!

Amazing location with everything within walking or running distance! The beach is exactly one mile away, Torrey Pines hiking trails about 1.5 miles, and the Torrey Pines Extension trails just half a mile away - with beautiful sunset vistas. Plus, Starbucks is 1.5 miles away. Enjoyed stunning sunsets on the beach and plenty of hiking. Shopping and great eats in Del Mar just.a short few mile car trip away. Beautiful accommodations in a great spot!

Serene Setting

We very much enjoyed our stay in the unit under Adam's garage. The patio is lovely and the upstairs/outdoors area has a beautiful view and ambience. The kitchen is more a "kitchenette" as opposed to a kitchen, although both terms were used in the listing. We hardly went into San Diego proper at all because there are so many great hikes and birding opportunities in the Del Mar region.

A quiet piece of paradise

Quiet and Comfortable

There are so many positive aspects of this VRBO hideaway. The home is very comfortable with everything you need to make your stay complete, including a simple kitchen, very comfortable mattress and a large shower. It is beautifully decorated with both an overhead fan and wall-mounted air conditioning. Around the corner from the unit is an incredible view of the Del Mar estuary and a partial view of Torrey Pines beach from an elevated patio with a fire pit and comfortable seating. Lastly, the host (Adam) is easy to reach and is quick to respond to all questions. We had an awesome time there.

Perfect Stay On The Reserve

My wife and I stayed in the guest studio while visiting Del Mar for a week. The location was perfect for everything outdoors! Bird Rock Coffee, Roberto’s and a few other bar/restaurants are all in close walking distance, but the major bonus was having Torrey Pines just a short walk away. We took full advantage of the quiet, and peaceful outdoor space that made us feel miles away from the bustle, all while remaining conveniently located near the freeway to explore all that San Diego has to offer!

We loved it. Very convenient to Surf Park for soccer/ultimate frisbee events. Very nicely appointed— good A/c, appliances, shower, TV etc. We didn’t use laundry but nice to have. Would have been nice to have extra set of towels as they didn’t dry out overnight and we needed to use the same ones for 4 days. But that’s a small thing. Will stay again!

Great outdoor spaces with views

This studio is in a great location - close to the beach and Torrey Pines Reserve. There are many good restaurants in Del Mar a short distance away. Views over lagoon from the spacious and well furnished private upper decks. The studio is comfortably furnished and stylishly decorated with colourful modern art. The kitchen is well set up for two people. Adam our host was friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay in this studio again on our next visit to San Diego.

Very comfortable, small, well located property

The location is very convenient. We are walkers and from this property were able to walk to the beach, along the beach to Del Mar and then back to the property on along Hwy 101. It was also a very short drive to the Torrey Pines Reserve. From the parking lot we walked/hiked up the hill, experienced most of the trails and beautiful views. From there we walked the trails down to the beach and then back to the parking lot. The unit itself is very small, but for the two of us it was fine. The king bed is very comfortable. The kitchen is a little sparse, but functional. The dedicated upstairs patio was a bonus.

Lovely Little Hideaway!

We spent 10 nights in this lovely studio while babysitting our grandchildren nearby. Great location! The studio is perfect for a couple. It's a separate structure from the house, so we didn't worry about having the TV too loud or listening to people in the main house. The studio is bright and clean. Good sized bathroom, comfy king bed, relaxing living room/kitchen. The outside gardens and rooftop patio are such an added bonus. Adam has thought of everything and he is a gracious and accommodating host. We will definitely stay again and recommend it to the other set of grandparents! Thanks, Adam, for a wonderful stay!

Perfect for a romantic getaway

Just enough space for two! Kitchenette had all you needed for small meals and beverages. We opted to cook breakfast and make our own coffee, all other meals were out (Jake’s in Del Mar was fantastic). The neighborhood is very cool and it was fun just driving around checking out all the interesting architecture. It’s a very quiet area. Location was really convenient, close to freeway to get to other areas. You can walk to a few restaurants, coffee shop and a liquor/convenience store. Parking was easy. Host Adam was very responsive but didn’t need to contact much as the property was well appointed. We absolutely plan to return.

We enjoyed a wonderful week here. Couldn’t ask for a better location. Easy access to shopping and beaches. Very well equipped with everything you need. And the rooftop deck and fire pit were very relaxing and peaceful. And the sunsets were amazing. Adam is a very friendly and thoughtful host. Bought us a nice bottle of Olive oil from Baker & Olive. Beautiful Location

The location of this sleek and modern studio is quite lovely. With an amazing beach for walking nearby and Torrey Pines State Beach Park and Coastal communities a hop away, it was ideal. The unit itself is comfortable and decorated nicely. As a previous reviewer noted, there are only a few windows to let in natural light. We compensated for this by enjoying the rooftop patio frequently. It is nicely appointed, comfortable and has a stunning view out across the river valley. Peaceful for breakfast and reading. This was actually our favorite part of the property. Evenings are nice there too.... a glass of wine by the gas fireplace a great way to end to a long day. Our only issue was a challenge around the unit's hot water delivery system. On two separate days we were out of hot water. A bit of a shock when trying to take a morning shower. The owner was apologetic and resolved it as quickly as possible each time. One other heads up.... the floor of the unit is concrete. Although handsome, it is very cold to walk on.... bring slippers or thick socks for those early mornings. (in summer I bet the floor temp is just right).

A Perfect Place for a Vacation

Adam Gevanthor was a great host. Adam was available if we needed anything. The studio is adorable and just perfect for us. It is well furnished and tastefully decorated. It also includes bedding, bath and kitchen towels, kitchen and bathroom supplies and cookware and a washer and dryer in the garage. Most convenient. It is a great location. We walked to the beach (Torrey Pines State Beach and Del Mar South Beach). Adam told us about a loop to walk in his neighborhood (check out the architecture), which we walked several times and the last time, we watched the sunset. It was beautiful. The studio location was a five-minute drive to Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve, which we visited three times. Our favorite hike was the Guy Fleming Trail. The views are breathtaking. We also hiked the Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve Extension (MAR Scenic Trail and overlook). It was an enjoyable hike. We took public transportation to Petco Park to watch the Padres. We visited Birch Aquarium, Balboa Park, San Diego Zoo and the Museum of Making Music in Carlsbad. We also visited San Diego Botanic Garden in Encinitas (which Adam recommended to us). A twenty minute or less drive to each of these places. We ate at Oggi's, Jake's, The Grill at Torrey Pines and Handel's Ice Cream. We so enjoyed our conversations with Adam and also pet his dog Slate (a beautiful husky). We spent two weeks at the studio in July 2023 and had the best vacation. Thank you Adam and Slate!
