Great place, great location in Todos Santos
This is a brand new house, well-constructed and well-designed. It works really well for 2 couples, and their kids (if they can share a room). However their are a few things that need a little more thought or care. The photos showed 2 imacs in the office, and we were thrilled that some of us who needed to work while we were on vacation, could use them. However they were not there, and it was hugely disappointing and disruptive for two people in our group. I would strongly suggest replacing this picture with a more accurate picture of the office. Secondly there are only 2 wire chairs around the pool. They are uncomfortable and we really wished there were some loungers for us to relax on, even on the balcony and the roof, there was a distinct lack of outdoor furniture and opportunities missed. Thirdly, when 8 people book to be there, there should be 8 towels, 8 plates etc. There was only 6 towels, and with 4 teenage girls as part of our party, it was a real problem. I would also strongly suggest providing pool/beach towels too, enough for everyone staying there. There is a mottled collection of plates and cups. Fourth, the hot-water heater is extremely temperamental and showers go from hot to cold to hot dangerously quickly. I mentioned this to the property manager, but in case you are there before this is fixed, do NOT leave children in the showers unattended. Possibly should have made this my first comment, but again, we have teenagers and pre-warned them, little kids would be more concerning. I hate to sound nit-picky, but as we were there for 6 nights, we really got to know the house well, and while we loved it, and the location, as the first reviewer of the house I feel like I should honestly mention the few issues that we had. I would imagine it's all first-time renting stuff, but should be addressed. My husband just reminded me that the website is confusing listing double the number of beds per room in some rooms, and the fact that we let our greeter know that we would be there after 4pm. Turned up at 4.15 and noone was there for the next hour. He had said he had no phone connectivity, and luckily we have friends with a place up the road, that we dropped the kids off while we waited, but I wouldn't want to have driven there and had to wait around to meet the person. It's also really awkward to have to meet someone to show you around the house. Why? We can read the guest book, and open the doors ourselves.
