This is a great place for a family of 4 to rent while visiting Moab. We enjoyed it as a base camp for excursions to Arches and Canyonlands NP. The hike to Delicate Arch was strenuous (3 miles round trip) but a very rewarding sunset trek. We also enjoyed renting a Jeep and hitting a couple trails in Canyonlands NP.
The only real “issue” is/was the HVAC system. As the owner explains, it is not recommended that you try to adjust it as, especially in July, it needs to run on “high” all night and all day. Yes, Moab gets hot in the summertime, and yes, the temperature in the CC Guest House does get warmer in the heat of the day. You need to run every fan in the house in an effort to keep it cool, and when you couple that with the noise of the HVAC system (set on high), it can get a little noisy. But it’s a great house, conveniently located, and we would definitely stay there again.
