Great log cabin for 2.

We were there first week of May. Very cozy. The furniture is older but that just makes the cabin feeling more real. Not knowing mountain life, we took our dinner to the cabin. When I opened the back door of the car everything fell out. I guess going up the steep roads everything shifted in the car.

Overnight trip

Stopped in the Smokey Mountains on the way to North Carolina. Great little cabin with almost everything you need. I say almost, because I needed a hairdryer! It is beautiful scenery. Would stay at again!

Nice little space

Loved it. Cute, plenty room for a couple. Only down fall was the parking. The issue was with others in the adjoining cabin. It was stated on both rentals about it being shared. Some people don’t realize it read what they need too. Will be back again.

Nice

We had a nice time but the hot tub being warm would have been nice. It was 88 degrees until we woke up the next morning so we couldn’t even enjoy it on our anniversary. The mattress is so soft I felt like I was gonna roll over the side of the bed. However the space was clean and just as described. The back deck is private so the other cabin didn’t bother us at all. I’d stay again if the mattress was different but it’s not for bad backs.

Cabin Majestic way

Could have been cleaned better. The shower had 3 dead spiders in it. A few cobwebs around. Once that was taken care of . We had a pleasant stay.

review of stay

room was nice, could use some tree clearing from balcony so that mountains could be seen, hot tub was not hot very luke warm, parking was not very good, we were on a motorcycle and 42 A had 3 full size trucks leaving us very little room to park. be aware that road to cabin is very steep. Cabin itself was very acceptable, would stay again just not arrive on motorcycle.

Beautiful cabin. Make sure you gather your groceries/beverages before you head up the hill. You won’t want to leave. Also… I’d suggest arriving in daylight. The road is an adventure… can’t imagine doing it at night!

Fathers Day Trip

I took my husband here for Father’s Day he enjoyed it to the fullest only thing I didn’t like was it’s not as private as they have it online but other then that it was beautiful quiet place we had an easy check in easy check out never had an issues finding it super clean well stocked hot tub is great would recommend Vacasa for your vacation rental place

Absolutely loved it

This is the cutest little cabin. My stepdaughter and I stayed there and we didn't want to leave. She just wrapped up a semester of college so we wanted to get away for a couple days to see Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. It was so easy to check in and find. It does sit behind a bigger cabin, but there are blinds hung on the deck so no one can see you in the hot tub. You can see on the other deck more than they can see you. There was privacy. The only thing I did not like was the bed. I have a very bad back and it has like a pillow top on it to make it super soft. It would be very comfortable for anyone else, me personally, I need a more firm bed. Even still, that wouldn't stop me from staying again.

The height of relaxation!

This one-room cabin was so cute. It felt spacious enough for me and my husband. The balcony was very private and the hot tub facing the mountain was the absolutely perfect. Had a great night here and hope to be back in the future!

The most beautiful cottage I've ever been too. But still some problems

The cottage was gorgeous. Beautiful deck with working hot tub. This cottage is closer to another, the deck is about 60 feet away but luckily there are blinds on the deck for privacy. Amd the view off the deck is thick forest I liked it alot. Everything worked except for the hot water. There was none. Also woke up to two millapedes in the indoor hot tub, which we did not get to use due to the hot water. There was also a washer dryer. This cottage is 20 minutes through winding steep roads that go through gorgeous country side. Highly recommend but the water was a problem.

Not too worried about overnighters.

The cabin was cozy and was a nice stay. The cleaning crew waited until 30 before arrival time to clean and we actually had to wait a few minutes after check-in time to have access to the cabin. The dishwasher was going and it and the crew had used all the hot water so I had to take a cold shower when we arrived. Several bulbs in the cabin were flickering and eventually went out during our stay. We had some issues with the hot tub around 9:00 that night with it being too hot to get into and the numbers posted on the info on the wall was incorrect and no one could tell us who was responsible for maintenance of the facilities. One of the reasons we chose this property over others was the privacy of the hot tub and due to us only staying overnight we weren’t able to use it and no one seemed to care. The bathtub that was right beside the bed, had a missing seal on the drain so the water leaked down constantly during a relaxing soak. Great place to stay but a bad experience for us and no one seemed to care or know who to contact to have our issues corrected.

Quick Getaway

It wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t 5 stars. The location wasn’t very private as you were in the backyard of another cabin while another overlooked you on the other side. The steps were not very steady leading to the front entrance. They seemed very narrow and tilted with an angle. We had a terrible time trying to get the door unlocked for the first time and an even worse time trying to figure how to lock it back when we wanted to leave the first time. Blinds could be replaced as several were missing pieces or broken in the middle. When we arrived and got settled in, we attempted to use the hot tub but couldn’t because it was overheated. It was too hot so we couldn’t get in or operate any of the controls. The Mountain View wasn’t very viewable due to trees; however those trees helped provide privacy from the nearby cabins. The backdoor didn’t open and close easily and only had a latch for locking that appeared to have been pulled out at one time. We didn’t use the jetted tub so I can’t speak on that. We did wake up the last morning to a HUGE wolf spider in the bathroom sink as well as a mouse under the kitchen sink. The road to and from the cabin is very narrow and winding but thankfully one way most of the way so you don’t have to worry about pulling over for oncoming traffic. But the roads are steep and we were in a Tahoe spinning out in some areas with a brand new set of tires. Overall it wasn’t a terrible stay and I would consider again if in need of a quick getaway retreat.

Nice cabin-ok view

It was clean and nice to have a real fireplace. It would’ve been nice to have the necessities like a fire starter or even a lighter available. We were a disappointed about the view. There wasn’t much of a view at all. The overgrowth of trees and vines made it difficult to see the sunset. We would have appreciated more time with the cabin. Due to a late check -in and early check -out. We were allowed only 18 hours with the cabin.
