Beginnen Sie Ihren Nachmittag mit einer Nacht voller Sterne und entspannen Sie sich bei einem Glas Wein im privaten Whirlpool auf dem Achterdeck mit Blick auf die ungebrochene 20-Meilen-Sicht auf das Texas Hill Country. Heizen Sie den Gasgrill zum Kochen im Freien oder genießen Sie S'Mores in der Feuerstelle. Sowohl Kinder als auch Erwachsene lieben die vielen Schaukeln im komplett umzäunten Garten des Hideaway.

Get away to Dripping Springs

We had a wedding at Canyonwood Ridge and love that fact that we were so close to the venue. The place was clean and had everything we needed. We loved the view from the backyard and the space to sit out there a few times to talk and enjoy the view. It was awesome to see the amount of deers and birds.We also made time to visit Barton Springs and Wimberley on our 4 day stay. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone visiting Dripping Springs or surrounding area. Thank you.

The house was perfect for a girls weekend, the view from the balcony was fabulous, the house was well equipped with everything we needed! The communication with the owner was great and he recommended a good restaurant for dinner also! A great place for a family also, very kid friendly!

Great Property and Location

My husband and I stayed from Wednesday-Sunday. We loved the location and the property as well. It was very peaceful. Not too far from other little towns you might want to visit like Fredericksburg and Wimberley. We got to see some deer on the property. We will definitely be back. Communication with the owner was excellent.

Nieces Graduation

My daughters and I flew in for my niece's graduation. The house was close to everything but also very quiet and secluded. We enjoyed the house very much it was everything as advertised. The deck/patio was amazing! We would spend our mornings out there having coffee and our evenings relaxing after long days of sight seeing and family events! Highly recommend and would stay again!

Perfect Stay

We had a lovely stay at Tawnya's Hideaway. It was exactly as described and was the perfect Dripping Springs location. We were in town to attend a graduation and had 4 adults stay with plenty of room. The swing in the back yard overlooking Texas Hill country was the perfect spot for morning coffee. We enjoyed our stay and will recommend to friends and family.

Beautiful Home, Wonderful Host!

Our family was in town for a wedding and this property was a perfect location for us between the venue, the homes of the friends we were visiting, and all the activities. The space was immaculately clean and the house is very warm and inviting. Chris was incredibly gracious and accommodating and probably the most responsive host we've ever worked with. Obviously the views at the house are a huge draw - coffee or wine on the deck is just fabulous. But the living room and bedrooms are also very nice and comfortable. Lots of nice touches like blankets, access to the Xbox (the teenager was oh so happy), etc. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking needs - pots, pans, dishes, etc. are all extensive. We were a little surprised there wasn't any kind of basic pantry stock other than spices - most properties we've rented seem to have at least a wee bit of some basics like oil or cooking spray, etc. - but certainly not a big deal. We also had not noticed in the detailed description that it does say the hot tub had been removed, and based on the photo that shows it and reviews from past guests we thought the property had one; again, very much NOT a big deal to us, but thought it was worth noting in case the info helps someone else who reads this and had missed it in the details. Overall this home was absolutely perfect for our family, as I said. Each teen had their own room, and they had their own space downstairs while we had ours upstairs. We will very likely be visiting the area from time to time and will definitely stay here again if we can!

Wow, breathtaking views, deer in the front yard, totally secure, back porch heaven, and soooo much more. This is more than I’ve ever encountered in a VRBO. Wedding Week

EXCELLENT HOME! We have rented houses around the world, yet with Chris, we found a HOME. From his initial welcome to the follow-up communications, he ensured we were comfortable and happy. Everything about the house was great. The hot tub and the kitchen were amazing! If you are considering a wedding in the area, Tawnya's Hideaway is ideal for location, comfort, and relaxing each night in the hot tub to unwind. Wonderful View & Very Enjoyable Stay

Loved the deck and view. Spent most mornings on the deck with my coffee, and evenings looking at the stars. Enjoyed the hot tub. The house had all we needed. And the spaces were comfortable and functional. Close enough to where we needed to be without being in the traffic of Austin.

Can't say enough good things about this wonderfully restful home.

I cannot name one thing that could be better about our stay. The host was pleasant, helpful, and communicative. The home was beautifully decorated and truly the most comfortable mattress I've ever slept on. Loved the very Texas view and the hot tub also! So glad I picked this place, it really made our whole trip relaxing and delightful. A huge thank-you to the owners for sharing their beautiful home!

Just a long weekend away

We really enjoyed staying in this home. It felt like everything was clean and the house was well cared for. I had a great experience with Chris. He was responsive and accommodating. After requesting, Chris switched his regular perfume laundry detergent and air freshener out for allergy friendly fragrance free products. This was so appreciated as my family has terrible allergies which can make vrbo a very challenging for us. The property was child friendly for the most part, we have a 3 year old and spent time swinging and watching the deer feeding and of course the beautiful view. The kitchen was clean and there was a nice assortment of what you need to prepare and cook meals. We did not use the hot tub. This location is right off 290 and is convenient to Austin. Dripping springs is a busy “small town”. We spent most of our time at state parks (30-40 min drive) and local dripping springs trails (15 min).
