Overall we were very satisfied with our stay at Surf Beach resort in Treasure Island. What surprised us most was that the beds were extremely comfortable! Like wow, our bodies didn’t hurt at all when we woke up in the morning which is rare at most places we stay. The pillows and creature comforts were certainly on point at this condo. There were plenty of towels and the property management in the office were extremely helpful with recommendations on where to eat and what to do! The furniture and space and amenities were exactly as posted! There is even shampoo, conditioner, body wash and soap supplied in the bathrooms!
But there were some drawbacks. The kitchen is not well stocked and if you plan to stay at this condo it’s more than likely you will not find what you need to cook - if you want to cook. The basics, yes but if you need a full set of measuring spoons - even to measure coffee, you won’t find them here. Additionally there are no plastic, outdoor friendly glasses, bowls, or plates to be found - which means the outdoor grilling spaces weren’t used. Just something to consider. Also - might be Covid related, but you need to bring everything down to salt and pepper as there are no spices to be had.
Also in the con column would be that the property management company does not enforce the rules that they have posted - like smoking in the condo unit or on the balcony is a big no, with stated fines, yet there were smokers on the balconies every single day/night of our stay. It was unpleasant to sit out there and have to smell it. Additionally, there were families with food and drinks (chips, sodas, beer) on the pool deck every day and no one said a word to anyone. It wasn’t a huge deal until you walk around the deck stepping in crushed potato chips that a small child left all over the pool deck or carried into a pool with them.
