Lage, Lage, Lage! Meine Hütte liegt 6 km von der New River Gorge Bridge entfernt in einem abgelegenen Waldgebiet. Die Kabine verfügt über zwei Schlafzimmer und ein Schlafsofa, eine voll ausgestattete Küche und einen Whirlpool. Die Hütte ist 6 Meilen von Adventures on the Gorge (AOTG) entfernt. AOTG ist der größte Erholungsort des Staates. Sie bieten Wildwasser-Rafting, Seilrutschen (2 Gänge), Klettern / Abseilen, Mountainbiken, Timber Trek (Hindernislauf in den Bäumen - neu), Paintball, Stand Up Paddleboarding, Kajakfahren und vieles mehr. Sie haben drei Restaurants / Bars. Ich bin der Gründer und pensionierte CEO von AOTG und würde Ihnen gerne bei der Planung Ihrer Reise helfen oder Fragen zum Resort oder zur Umgebung im Allgemeinen beantworten.

Cute cabin. Great for a couple.

Stayed here to go rafting and hiking in the area. It’s about halfway between Hawk’s Nest and Babcock state parks both of which are very nice. There is a Piggly Wiggly grocery store on Rt. 60 a few miles west. The driveway is hard to find in the dark so use your GPS.

Great place to stay!

The cabins are reasonably close to the major attractions in the area. They are quiet and secluded, although you will hear an occasional semi truck to remind you that you aren't too far away from civilization. The cabin we were in was clean and well maintained. We had 5 in our party plus 1 pet and it was comfortably full. I would recommend this property and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Nice , cozy cabin.

Cabin was clean and well maintained. Host was very helpful in remedying an issue with the television. I would stay here again.

Very nice, private cabins

The cabins and area were very nice and well-kept. It was close to all the things we wanted to see and do. We didn't have to drive too far to see the New River Gorge and the bridge. We really liked it here!

Peaceful Memorial Day weekend stay

Accurate description and pictures. The cabin was the perfect size for my husband, my two little dogs and myself. Very clean, and all the necessities for a short visit. Very easy to get into the cabin, no issues with using the tv/wifi or finding the cabin. Owner sent clear directions on going to cabin, getting into cabin, and recommendations in the area. Parking was steps away from the door, making it easy to unload our car. Friendly neighborhood dog that came to relax with me on the cute porch. Very close to New River Gorge NP, and Fayetteville where we had lunch after our hikes. Will stay again next time we are passing through.

We loved this cabin

This stay was for our 10th anniversary. The cabin was fantastic. We loved the hot tub and the privacy. We had an issue where VRBO didn’t send us the the cabin number and correct code. We ended up arriving at 2am due an emergency delay in our trip. We contacted VRBO and they contacted our host. We felt bad for waking him at 2am, but he was able to give us the information we needed. We stayed 3 nights. We hope to come back this summer to explore some of the activities that haven’t opened yet for the summer. We will definitely stay at these cabins again.

Great location

We came down to visit New River Gorge. The cabin was in a great location for what we wanted to do, only 15-20 minutes from several hikes. The owner was nice and was easily available when needed. My only complaint was the hot tub on the property was a little temperamental and could have been cleaner. The cabin was nice and clean though.

Perfect Weekend

Absolutely loved the cabin we stayed in. Very clean, spacious, and the perfect spot for a short weekend trip. The only dislike was the wifi. I had almost no cell service and the wifi did not work well, which made it challenging to look up directions or hikes. Aside from this, everything was perfect!

Perfect Cabin Getaway

We loved our stay in cabin 3. The cabins were not hard to find once you pull into the parking lot of the repair shop, something I was nervous about when booking. We took our pup with us on the trip and she loved being able to run around a bit while we were around the fire pit. The location was perfect for the activities we had planned. We had no issues with check-in/out. We will be staying again in the future!

First trip to New River Gorge

Our first trip to New River Gorge, had no idea what to expect. Needed a pet friendly stay. Location was very close to park and the bridge. We arrived after dark so a little confused that had to drive past mechanic shop to the right up the hill to the cabins. (No sign at end of road) The road and driveways covered (beautifully) in leaves making it difficult to figure out where to park but we ended up figuring correctly. Cabin very clean and had everything we needed. We ended up using the broom to clear leaves away from fire pit for safety when had fire. Sinks in bedrooms nice to keep bathroom open for toilet/ shower use. Definitely would stay there again!

The property is maintained and cleaned well. The driveway into the place is not lit, so it is hard to find the first time, but easier once you figure out the landmarks.

Peace and Tranquility

Enjoyed the cabin and the peace and quiet. Just a heads up you have to turn into the auto repair parking lot and then go up the hill to get to the cabins. The inside was clean and true to the pictures posted. Each bedroom had its own sink which was convenient. The location was fantastic for getting to New River Gorge NP. No more than 10 minutes. Also close to Glade Creek Grist Mill in Babcock State Park. That’s a must stop. Loved Fayetteville area and the downtown. Pies and Pints is a must stop for dinner. 5 Stars for our 2 days at the cabin and surrounding area.

Great cabin accommodations in beautiful wooded area, close to adventure and dining.

Communication from property owner was great, everything was wonderful. We will be looking to stay there again, had a fantastic time! Front door keypad did not work, needs a new battery. But found a key under the doormat so it turned out fine.

Never again

I have avoided commenting because my momma taught me if you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all. That being said. If it wasn’t for the wonderful housekeeper and her son, we would have had to find another place to stay. We sent messages to owner. No response…at all. We called the owner. He never returned our calls. There is a business there that was, I don’t know what they were doing….crushing cars? All. Day. Long. It was supposed to be a secluded cabin in the woods. The cabin was beautiful, and very clean. Yet the code we had was wrong. I was forced to give one star. I tried to leave them blank. The cabin number we had was wrong. The location was wrong. Like I said, thanks to Branden, the housekeepers son, we got another, different cabin, and new code. We are coming back to West Virginia in 2 weeks, and have booked elsewhere. We will never book through vrbo nor this company again.

Great place to vacation

The listing was just as posted. Had an issue with the hot tub not working when we arrived but the owner had it working within 24 hours! Washer and dryer was free for all guests which was a huge bonus! Cabin had everything you could imagine to prepare meals and the dishwasher was great as well. Highly recommend!!!

Great Cabin Experience

This property has several other cabins also on the property like a little community of cabins. It’s close to many trails as well as tucked back out of the way. The owners were very responsive when we had questions. The yard was a great size for our two dogs and we loved the porch swing! We would definitely stay here again if we ever come back!
