So many things to do. Grilling a fresh-caught salmon and boiling crab that you caught from the rowboat. Kayaking with the porpoise and seals, walking the beach, discovering shells, and treasures from the last high tide, digging clams at low tide.
Or - get away and explore the many island attractions. Restaurants, shops, family activities, hikes, wineries, beaches, and more are just minutes away in Langley, Bayview and Clinton, or drive the entire island and see beautiful Deception pass, Fort Casey, Oak Harbor.
Anchors Away feels remote because we have only one neighbor and a private beach, but you're quite close to all the conveniences of town.
Bring your fishing pole and crab buoy and you can use the row boat to drop our crab pots and let the kids catch sole/flounder, sea perch, and salmon and crab (in season). Catch and release fisheries are also good for sea -run cutthroat and steelhead. Check WDFW website for Area 8-2 for information on fishing/crabbing/shrimping/clamming
