Lovely stay

Enjoyed our stay at Port O call. Terrific view of the ocean. Wish it had been warm enough to enjoy the screened in porch. Construction noise was heard especially upon arrival and for the next few days when they were working on the elevator walls right by the unit but wasn't horrible. Our bad luck to be here when they were working there. That said, crews clearly marked safe entrance areas and did not start until 8:30 AM. All in all a lovely stay with no rain and walks on the beach.

Great stay at Port O Call condo!

We enjoyed our stay at the condo in Port O Call Wild Dunes. It was so close to the beach, we loved the views of the ocean the condo provided. We were very comfortable there, the perfect size for just me and my husband.

Memorial Day 2024

We were very happy with our stay at his location. Easy access once we checked in at front gate. The beach access was excellent. Weather could not have been better. Screen porch was a blessing. Disappointed we could not get Braves baseball but that is on Ballys. The only thing missing is easy access to a bar for after beach beverages with umbrellas.

Watch the sunrise from your bed!

The location and view were fantastic! Great get away for couples!! Only complaint was that there was only 1 - washcloth and 1 - hand towel. There were 2 towels though 😊

Outdated, needs a good cleaning

The view is really the only thing going for this condo. Unfortunately the owners removed the patio furniture so we didn’t even have a place to sit and enjoy the view until our trip was almost over they then delivered a metal table and chairs that smelled like spray paint so bad you could barely sit in them. House is outdated and needs a good cleaning. There was dust accumulating on the walls. Dishes were dirty and put back with lip prints on them. Floors were dirty. Sheets had hair on them. The pool was closed which was not a fault of owner however, it was never communicated to us. There’s not much to do on the island and it’s a 30 to 40 minute drive into Charleston

The view, oh the view!

Absolutely perfect location if you are looking for a front row view of the beach and the ocean. Very easy access to the beach. Nicely furnished. The condo was clean and well equipped with a full size refrigerator, dishwasher, sheets and towels. Only complaint: the mattress and pillows could definitely use to be updated.

Great location. Needs work done.

We have stayed in 4 different condos in this building and loved them. They were all in great condition and floor plan exactly like 202B. We did have problems with this one. When we arrived one pane was cracked in dining area window The bed desperately needs a new box spring and mattress. When we went to bed we both ended in the depression in middle of the bed. Did not depend if one or both of us were in the bed, lost a lot of sleep. The recessed light can over the right side of bed looked like it was going to fall out, one side was about 3 inches out of ceiling. It was the same with two of the three hanging lights over the counter in kitchen. Finally, someone installed the shower curtain rod the wrong way. Instead of bowing out to give more room in the shower it was installed bowing in😳. Both of us were constantly fighting the curtain while showering. I contacted Carolina One on the window and shower curtain, but was told with the holiday didn’t know if they could get maintenance in to fix. The other items we just gave up on after hearing this. I took pictures of everything I have talked about.

Perfection

This condo was absolute perfection. The view of the ocean, and the short walk to it, made it one of the best vacations I've had. I'm not a beach person, so we went in November when its not a gazillion degrees. We could sit at the beach and just listen to the waves. I woke up almost every morning and watched the sunrise over the ocean. The condo was nicely furnished, clean, and comfortable. And the elevator was helpful, even though we were only on the second floor. If I could change anything, I'd replace the mattress with something firmer. I have a bad back and the mattress was too soft. Saying that, I'd still stay there again.

The property that we rented was a little dated. Could use some new furniture. But was clean everyone was never. Quite and we had an A plus vacation. Rental group was really good.

Great ocean views and breezes.

Best vacation we ever had, even though we didn’t do much but go to the beach, take walks and read. Very relaxing. The apartment was just perfect.

Great Stay on the Beach

The condo was very clean and comfortable. Nice amenities in the bathroom, very comfortable king sized bed. The Carolina One people were very helpful by calling a plumber (the tub drain was clogged) and bringing us ice trays (the new refrigerator did not have an ice maker or ice trays). The kitchen was fairly well equipped. I wish there had been instructions to operate the TV and streaming services. Other than these few complaints, the stay was lovely. Having an elevator and luggage carts was a HUGE plus!

Excellent Stay!

Our stay went off without a hitch. The room was ready early, was super clean, and we had no issues the entire time! The room was close to the pool/beach access and had a shower station on either side of the pool so we could rinse off before going in the pool or back to the room. There was a sidewalk or boardwalk to everything, so it was super easy to wheel our luggage and cart rack and would be easy for beach carts or strollers. There were lots of families with children, but the complex was surprisingly quiet and calm. Our rental came with a beach gear credit so we used that for bikes for the kids and beach chairs. Everything was there waiting for us when we arrived. We will def be back here!!

Great location

When my husband and I walked into the property are initial thought was the rectangular window in the entry way was a painting. Its a stunning view of the beach. Condo was perfect for us. Well equipped and very clean. Despite it being chilly, we slept with the door open to the screened in area and could hear the ocean waves as we slept. We took advantage of the bike rental and rode around the complex everyday as well as walked the beach. We would defintly come back.

Great location - nicely outfitted condo

We had a fantastic time waking up to three breathtaking sunsets on the beach. I am not usually a morning person but it was quite impossible not to stay awake for the gorgeous colors. The condo had everything we needed. The kitchen was a bit small but had all the appliances, dishes, and a regular coffee maker. The screened in porch helped keep bugs away. There were 4 beach chairs ready for use. We enjoyed the uncrowded beach and residential complex. The pool code didn’t work but the gate was open. The views were wonderful from the living room, porch, and bedroom. The elevator was convenient for bringing our stuff up. Thanks for a lovely time!
