Listing not accurate

We had a hard time getting access to the room..the code we were given was incorrect. There was broken furniture ex the floor lap and living room blinds, and the ceiling fan never turned on. The ac in the living room would not get cold despite turning it down to its lowest setting.. some photos on this listing are also not of the same unit so beware.. the staff here is really friendly and helpful.

Bring your own things

Terrible pillows recommended you bring your own unless you want to be tossing and turning. Not well equipped in the kitchen. Our remotes weren’t working. No water when arrived in the unit. Location is great and view was amazing.

LOCATION, pool and beach are A++!!

The location and the pool and the beach are absolutely the BEST part of El Faro. The apartment is nice size. The view is stunning. Beautiful balcony. Easy to get to. Easy to get everywhere in Playa. Fantastic security!!

Great property and location

Condo was very clean upon arrival. The 5 gallon bottled water was awesome. The view of the ocean from our balcony overlooking the beautful pool area was great. Had a wonderful massage at the pool area and were very easy to work with. We were within walking distance to shops, dining and activity pick up locations.

Great stay

Great location, close to the action, pool, beach and staff were also great. Dedicated wifi worked perfectly for zoom and streaming. As mentioned in listing/reviews the AC unit in the living area doesn't seem to work but the bedroom AC units were enough to keep the whole place cool.

Amazing place for vacation in PDC

We rented the condo at Residencias El Faro because of its location, we never imagined all the great things that came along with it. First of all is its people, from the receptionists to the gardeners, the helpers around the pool, the security guys around the propriety, the massage ladies by the pool etc etc etc. The property is immaculate, the landscapers keep every little plant beautiful, the hallways, elevators, common areas are kept squeaky clean. Then it was the condo itself, just as it is advertised, spacious, clean, well furnished and quiet. I’ve read reviews complaining about the loud music coming from the clubs nearby, not an issue at 305 Surf, we slept very well. Alberto our property manager was attentive and quick to answer any questions we had. The location of El Faro can’t be beat, everything you will need is a short walk away, restaurants, bars, cafés, beach, Parque de los Fundadores, Ultramar Ferry, etc etc. even Covid test facilities. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy 305 Surf at Residencias El Faro. It was an amazing week. We will come back and will recommend it to our friends and family for their vacations in Playa!

Great location

This condo has a great location. The kitchen is adequately stocked. The water dispenser was almost empty when we checked in so we needed to purchase bottled water. The AC in the living room/kitchen area does not work at all but does work well in the bedrooms. It was cool enough while we were there that it wasn’t an issue but in the summer this would be a deal breaker. The master bath is disgusting. There were hairs everywhere upon check- in. All the caulking has mold/mildew growing and there is a large patch of mold growing on the wall in the master bath as well. The master bath tub is unusable due to the plunger not staying down, not that it would have been possible due to the extremely small hot water heater. We stayed 6 nights and after 4 I asked for fresh towels as ours were not drying between uses and was informed there is a charge of at least $25 for this and it would need to scheduled 2 days in advance. Also, the condo above is being remodeled so there is lots of construction noise mostly during the day so, not that much of an inconvenience. There was also 3 incidences where a large puddle of water around the wall between the master bedroom and bathroom. We also had a morning with no water, I’m not sure if these issues were related to the construction going on upstairs. My husband says we are never staying anywhere but hotels. Just too many inconveniences added up. Overall just a rundown property.

Overall great

The place is great, the location couldn’t be better and the pool is super nice. We couldn’t enjoy the beach because of the seaweed but we were expecting it. A couple of things that would’ve been nice to have are a mop, mor forks, medium-sized liners for the bins. Overall we had a very nice stay.

Beautiful home but POOR assistance while on the property!!!!

The condo is beautiful and has an amazing view!!!! But the service during our stay was horrible. We had no working television throughout the whole stay. I was told that it would be fixed by Monday but never heard back from anyone. The air conditioner in the master bedroom did not work. I reported it to the manager and it was never fixed. Then the water was not working for a moment and was reported to the manager again and never he received a response back.

Always amazing!

This is our 2nd time in Playa with Alberto, and we absolutely loved it. The place is adorable, has everything you need to spend some quality time with your family! The better is that it is located in front of the beach, so you have a spectacular ocean view when you wake up. 5th Avenue is also a few meters from the place. The pool area is very comfortable, and nice to get some tan lines. Alberto was always checking on us, and the staff was very nice too. I would recommend El Faro with 5 stars to anyone who'd like to have a relaxed time right away on the beach.

Loved it

Great location in playa. The condo is wonderful and we will certainly come back. I am not a fan of Vacasa and the fact that there was no maid service or garbage removal or changing of sheets and towels.

Great stay!!

Perfect location right in the middle of everything but still quiet. The building and grounds are well maintained. The condo was clean and nicely appointed. Beautiful view of the pool, beach and ocean from the living room and balcony. Nice pool and loungers. Awesome to have food and drink service from the beach club next door at the pool. Massage tent right next to the pool. Alberto, the property manager, was quick to respond when I had a question. Overall it was a great stay!
