Dieses entzückende LITTLE Cottage ist die perfekte Unterkunft für einen günstigen Strandurlaub. Ein Original von Ocean Lakes, das Haus wurde um einen antiken Wohnwagen gebaut. Etwa 99 Schritte vom Strand entfernt, verfügt dieses Haus über eine große Terrasse zum Entspannen und Lauschen der Wellen, während Sie beim Abendessen grillen.

Dieses Haus verfügt über 2 Schlafzimmer und 2 Bäder. Das Schlafzimmer verfügt über ein Kingsize-Bett, ein angrenzendes Vollbad (einschließlich einer großen Waschmaschine und einen Trockner), einen Fernseher und einen Kleiderschrank. Das zweite Schlafzimmer ist ein kleines Zimmer mit einem großen Bett und angrenzendem Vollbad.

Das Wohnzimmer verfügt über eine L-Couch mit einem ausziehbaren Queensize-Bett, einem TV und Französisch Türen zum Deck.

Absolutely Amazing

I’m a little late on my review as I am never great at leaving reviews. It’s been lingering that no matter how late I must rave about this place. This place is a first time favorite that we want to rebook again and again. Host is on point. Very clean & fresh. Rooms were perfect for every guest. If you have a large family this is a way to go. It also has areas of privacy if u want to get away to recharge from the hustle & bustle. I am detail oriented person & this place exceeded my expectations. Any questions I had the host answered promptly. If you’re trying to decide if u should or shouldn’t, make this home your choice! U will not regret it!

AWESOME PLACE

Would totally book again. The property is awesome and the location is perfect!!! Great for big families. The only negative at all is place to put your luggage but that is very minute in the comparison of all that is offers. It is what it says it is and WE LOVED IT!!!

Stop looking, here's the perfect vacation home!!

We could not have picked a better place for our family vacation. The house was immaculate and the location was perfect. We had ourselves, 4 grown children and grandchildren from ages 8 months to 18 and we never felt crowded. Layout of home perfect for large families. Easy check in and communication with owner super easy if you have any questions or concerns. Because of family size, vehicles were oversized and we still had ample parking under the house. Our family wanted for nothing as far as closeness to all the amenities OL offers. Only thing missing is our reservation for this house next year!! Anyone staying here will be happy they did.

the house was great, loved it, but family and friends being able to visit was horrible getting in.

The property was great! I enjoyed everything BUT the exception of family getting through the gate. I had family in there area and the gate staff made if exceptional difficult for them to visit. Some family, would not come back because of the harsh treatment. I wished I was informed of the parking situation when I booked instead I learned of it the day before leaving for the beach. I will not stay at Ocean Lakes again.

Luxury Vacation!

I was worried the house would not match the listing, but everything about the house is as advertised. The house is SUPER lovely, Super close to the beach, and having access to the golf cart made the stay even better. My family is already asking if we can book the same house next year!

Beautiful House

Beautiful house in a great location! The house size was perfect for our family! The only small complaint would be not enough cooking necessities like large bowls, large pots, pasta strainer etc. When you go with a large family you mostly cook at home so having just a few more things would be helpful. Homeowner was very attentive with issues concerning the golf cart. We would definitely rent this place again!!

Great getaway

Property was recently renovated and well maintained. Great access to beach and amenities of the resort. Property owners were extremely prompt in assisting with any needs. They quickly swapped out a golf cart which was having battery issues. Would highly recommend them and this property.

The house was beautiful and clean. It met our every need. We had a wonderful week. We had 12 people and was very comfortable. It is large and spacious. Really nice bathroom. And great laundry facilities. The only thing if you are going to cook for a large group, you will need to bring larger cooking equipment. It didn’t have anything large to cook in. It had Plenty of plates glasses silverware and utensils. We really really enjoyed our week here. It went by way to fast. The only thing it need is larger cookware for larger families.

Beautiful Property

The property was brand new and they did not miss a beat. Very clean and modern. The check in process was a little bumpy, but management handled it immediately. The location was great as there is plenty shopping close by and we were steps from the ocean.

The landlady was nice but super un-informative. I had to contact her and ask her to add our name to the approved renters list so we could check in even though we had paid for our booking weeks in advance. I had to call her again to ask her for the Wi-Fi password and had to contact her a third time to find out where to plug the golf cart up. I was not even aware there was a shed with his property until I texted her about it. The house is falling down and was dirty. There were several places on the porch felt like if we walked on them we would fall through including right in front of the front door entrance. It’s served our purpose for this weekend at last minute but we will not stay here again.

Renter beware

Our family rented this cottage for the week and we’re sadly disappointed. We understand the description says vintage cottage, but this place is quite the rip off for the price we pay. It is very rundown. You cannot walk around barefoot, the deck is in horrible condition, spindles are missing all over making it very unsafe for small children and dogs. The shed does not shut properly. The biggest concern is there is no working smoke detector in the cottage, there is one in the kitchen area, but it does not work and that is very concerning with the condition of the place. Nails were sticking up on the deck. Some places you step you feel the deck fall in. The outdoor shower is just a hose. The outdoor furniture was cracked, broken, corroded and dirty. The grill was filled to the brim with old water and unusable. The indoor furniture was peeling, old, and dirty. The couch was musty. The kitchen was unpleasant, so be aware and bring your own pots/utensils if you are planning to cook. We had to travel to our sons house he rented to cook our meals. There was one clean pot to use. Overall, it was all very gross and sticky to be in. We had other family with us in a different house and she wouldn’t even bring her baby into the cottage. In addition, we had to end our trip early due to a rodent of some nature. We grossly found the bottom of our wrapped loaf of bread was eaten when we got back in from the beach. The only advantage is this house being close to the beach. It is very easy access to walk right to the ocean. The master bathroom was a nice addition, but doesn’t make up for all the other work that needs to be done to this place. Our family members stayed in homes that were cheaper than this place and were way better condition. Their properties offered brand new linens for a $100 fee and I believe this is something the owner of this cottage should invest in. I wish I could post all the pictures we took but vrbo does not have a place to add in pictures. The owner is using the word “vintage” to cover up the old and rundown condition of this place. Towels, bedding and furniture can still be new and maintain a vintage aspect. This place could be very nice if some money and effort were put into it.

The location was great, this property was very cute but had a few minor issues like the carpet was very stained, the grill hadn't been cleaned but overall a pleasant cute place.

It was a great stay just freaked out a little when went to check in and couldn't get checked in because the property owner hasn't approved us to stay yet, but finally got checked in. The house is really run down for 2,000 a week, but overall stay was good and my boys loved Ocean Lakes campground and will Def. At ocean lakes again in the near future! :)

The location is great but unfortunately very over priced for the quality of the home paid over $800 for 2 nights absolutely over priced, ceiling was peeling in master, floor was soft in multiple places(felt like we would fall through), kitchen was tiny and very old some kind of weird build out from a old trailer or something, tvs are old and no cable over all the experience was great the house needs a lot of work the master bath is great(new add on) had a wonderful weekend the beach was beautiful the family atmosphere was awesome

Short walk to beach

Nice little place really close to the beach perfect if you don’t have a golf cart.This is the quiet side of the park as well, the boys were able to ride the scooters without traffic interrupting them. Also be sure to park around back or Karen next door will call the security on you . We parked in the pull threw area thinking it was the driveway and there she went ... Oops ! Sorry Karen . What a kind what a kind person she was 😂. Besides that was a great stay.

The pit of Hell!

We thought we were renting a 1 level house only to suffer 4 levels and a nasty terribly bowed floor that was supposed to be level. Had I not used the step stool for climbing up into my husband’s truck, I would have never been able to get into the main bathroom. There were no railings for any of the ridiculous steps and the place was FILTHY! There were no amenities available, e.g. dishwasher for sanitation or even a coffee pot. The furniture was dilapidated and broken. The mattresses’ were like laying on concrete. It’s always a gamble to rent the unknown, but this was like staying in pit of hell with your back broke. I am still trying to wrap my mind around the depth of the owners lack of conscience to steal from innocent people to this degree of evil! DHEC would condemn it and you shouldn’t have available.
