Gothic Cottage bietet alles, was Sie für Ihren Aufenthalt in Crested Butte benötigen - ein Queensize-Bett, ein Sofa, einen Esstisch, ein Vollbad und eine separate Küche. Es liegt an der historischen, ruhigen Gothic Avenue, nur zwei Blocks von der Elk Avenue mit allen Geschäften und Restaurants der Stadt entfernt. Das Ferienhaus verfügt über bequeme Parkplätze abseits der Straße. Ein einfacher 2. 5-Block-Spaziergang in eine Richtung zum Shuttlebus zum Abfahrtslauf oder 2. 5 Blocks in die entgegengesetzte Richtung, um auf den Peanut Lake-Nordic-Trails zu springen.

Das Cottage verfügt über ein Studio mit Schlaf- und Wohnbereich sowie ein separates Bad und eine kleine Küche. Wenn Sie Ruhe, Bequemlichkeit und Komfort zu einem erschwinglichen Preis suchen, haben Sie den perfekten Ort gefunden. Bitte beachten Sie, dass die Kabine für maximal zwei Personen ausgelegt ist und aufgrund der geringen Größe weder eine Waschmaschine / Trockner noch eine Geschirrspülmaschine hat.

Perfect Little Cabin

This little cabin had it all for this solo, artistic, hike loving traveler. I stayed here five nights while in town to hike and sell art at a weekend art show. I had everything I needed in the home plus a quick walk to all the action in town! I even left my van at the house and hit Green Lake trail one morning. I could walk to the trailhead! I would definitely stay here again. Everything was clean and tidy and no detail left out. One of my favorite places I've stayed at in awhile.

Amazing week-long stay at the cutest, most convenient cottage!

The cottage was so cute and perfect. It had all the amenities to be comfortable for one person, was quiet and charming, and in such a great location. Will definitely be coming back!

Perfect !!

The cottage was great, felt like home with lots of character. I had everything I needed and the owner was friendly and available. Really easy to get to the shuttle to take you up to the slopes. Really happy I was able to stay at this cottage and it was an extra plus to have great water pressure in the shower !

Crested butte stay

It is a cute old cottage. The yard is very nice. It seems the main house is under construction but nobody was there. It is very nice being in walking distance from downtown crested butte. I felt for the price the cottage should have been cleaner. There was hair from others, dust and cobwebs. I would stay again if cottage was cleaned more meticulously.

Cozy cottage

The size of the cottage was as described and adequate except for the kitchen which was really too small if you wanted to do any cooking at all. The owner was responsive. But needs to be more diligent about maintenance (ie making sure lighting is adequate and maintained). Also a notebook in the cottage with more explicit instructions about trash, etc would be helpful. Overall comfortable and convenient

Perfect In Town Location

Right size cottage for two adults. Comfortable and in a quiet neighborhood. Just a short walk to all the restaurants and shopping on Elk Avenue. Well kept by the property manager and the owners are very nice and easy to deal with.

Hiking Haven

We stayed here to take advantage of the nearby hiking and it did not disappoint. A few days we even walked to trailheads that start in-town (lower loop & green lake). Walked about 40 miles total while we were there.

Miner’s Delight

The Gothic Miners cabin had everything I needed! The bed was comfy, location is excellent - walking distance to farmers market, shops and restaurants. The kitchen has everything I needed. I highly recommend this cozy cabin and I plan on returning next time I visit CB!

Cute and Convenient Tiny House

We thoroughly enjoyed our few days in this cute little house in the owner's backyard. We mostly ate meals on the trail or in town, but we still took advantage of the kitchen space and table. We walked the few blocks to shops and places to eat, including Butte Bagels. (Go early, take your coffee, and your good nature to wait for your tasty treat! We also highly recommend The Secret Stash for outstanding pizza!) We also walked just a few blocks to the Upper and Lower Loop hiking trail. The off-the-street parking leads to a side gate and back to shady outdoor seating right outside the tiny house. We passed the owners a few times; they tipped us off to the farmer's market, again, just blocks away.

Great location as advertised. Clean and comfortable but only on window opens and one window glass is broken. We had a great stay with daytime high temperatures in upper 60s but if temperatures much higher I think more open windows would be nice.

Little Casita Gothic!

Just a perfect place to Celebrate our 20th Anniversary! Hubby and I, were pleasantly surprised how quaint, quiet and comfortable our stay was! The Little Cottage was exactly how it was presented, Clean - welcoming and had all the amenities we needed , stocked kitchen was a plus and small fridge was all we really needed! The off street parking was nice too! It’s sits behind the main house and the property is beautiful! It has great mountain cottage flair! Leslie/Host was super friendly and welcoming! Very close to Main Street restaurants and shopping. Fantastic trip, winding down after double graduation and end of freshman year for our youngest! Just two peas in a pod, would definitely book again! Thank you Leslie!

Character and Connivence

This little one bedroom house was amazing. It had all the character of Crested Butte wrapped in a small but all you need package. We really feel like we had an authentic experience. Everyday we walked to town for breakfast in our ski gear, had great food and coffee and then boarded the shuttle to the mountain. Skied a full day, came back to the house, showered (shower was amazing with really hot water), then walked to town for art galleries, shopping, and fine dinning. Really recommend Montanya Distillers for drinks and apps. The house was quiet and great for sleeping. The linens were noticeably amazing. The owners even helped dig our car out of the snow. Would definitely come back !!

It is a wonderful cottage for 2 people. The location is great to wander downtown, but have the peace and quiet for the evenings tucked away in the cozy cabin! Thank you for a great stay!

Great Little Cottage

Leslie’s cottage is located behind her main house on a beautiful lot with lots of Aspen trees for shade, Adirondack chairs, table, fire pit, grill. Very quiet street. The cottage is small but very nicely furnished and clean. Short walk to Elk Avenue, parks, trails. Would definitely stay again while visiting relatives

Great location and close to town.

I knew this was going to be a rustic type stay and we were ok with that. It’s proximity to town was what made me want to book this place. However when we arrived, there was one window with a broken pane and piece that had fallen out. The owner knew about it. It seemed to be a safety issue to us since it was right over the bed. Also, we discovered that only 1 of the 6 windows in the cottage opened. The owner knew this too. The fan provided only circulated the warm air in the cottage. This was a bummer in addition to no shades on the windows. There were only lace curtains which didn’t do much for privacy and early morning light. The cleanliness was disappointing as well. Upon arrival, we found hairs in the bathroom sink, food wrappers and spills in the fridge and utensils that were visibly dirty. The sponge provided smelled rotten and there was food debris at the back of the sink. We avoided use of the kitchen in general. Other dirty issues were spider webs and dead bugs in the peak of the ceiling and odd dirty items under the couch/in couch cushions. I wouldn’t stay here again based on our experience.

Owners Leslie and Mark live in Boulder, Colorado, and we spend as much time as possible in our favorite mountain town of Crested Butte! We are long-time property owners in the town of Crested Butte, and we are available to answer all of your questions.

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

From Boulder, there are many mountain resort towns just a two-hour drive away. Yet, we choose to make the five hour drive to Crested Butte because it is such a special place. In Crested Butte you have the Mountain Village and the Town. Like us, we think you will prefer to be in town where you can walk to shops, restaurants and trails. You do not need a car when staying in town. A free shuttle bus that runs every 15 minutes will take you to the ski mountain.

We purchased the home and cottage on Gothic Avenue in May 2018 because of its location and charm. There are 21 mature aspen trees in the yard! The guest cottage is located in the backyard of the primary residence. The primary residence is not rented out. We chose the west end of Gothic Avenue for our new home because of the quiet and convenient location --Gothic Avenue is not a through street to Gothic Road (Hwy 135), and therefore it gets very little traffic. Yet, it is just two blocks to historic Elk Avenue with all of the restaurants and shops.
