Spacious but needs upgrades

If you’re looking for a quiet home in the woods reminiscent of a camping trip with spacious, no frills rooms this is the place for you. The kitchen was efficient and the host was very nice and promptly responded to requests when we arrived to find the home had not been adequately cleaned. There were several other things that were less than desirable. Some items that should be easy to remedy are the stale moldy smell, lack of hooks in the bathrooms and hangers in the closets to hang your things. The smell is most likely due to the coaches that require cleaning. Other areas would require more substantial upgrades such as the obvious aging and neglect of the outside and interior of the home where it was difficult to miss the peeling paint in certain areas on the wall and ceiling or the old chalking in the bathrooms that need to be replaced. One of the twin beds need a new mattress as it was lopsided and caved in. The price of the home was fairly reasonable compared to other homes of its size however, minimum standards as far as the cleanliness and upkeep should be maintained.

They gave wrong entry code

It was not a great stay as we could not get in. The access code given was wrong, and when we reached out to Royce via a "call" he did not answer and did not respond until noon the next day via "email". Needless to say, we had to go to a hotel. When he did finally "email" back he refused to give a refund of more than $50. Please do not waste your time, go somewhere else.

The property is in an upscale location and secluded at the same time. The house is a bit older, but the open concept is fantastic. Royce was very easy to work with and we had no issues or problems. Will use again.

Quiet serenity

This place was great for relaxing we got plenty of rest. The house was enough room for the group. The owner was very responsive and took care of all our concerns right away. My mom suggested that the toliets was not built for older people but the owner said he will change them out . overall if /when we are back that way def would stay here again

Private large home in quiet neighborhood.

It was a very large space with plenty of beds, oversized couches and lots of seating area. The bathroom in the master bedroom was very convenient for my elderly family. It was in a private location with great parking options. It felt comfortable, cozy and home-like. I highly recommend this place.

Wonderful experience

We stayed here for 2 months while looking to buy a house. The house feels like a home and is nice and cozy. Wonderfully spacious and plenty of room to run in the huge yard. I have 2 toddlers who loved it, and loved Royce who lives right next door and is super responsive to any problems that might arise. He’s extremely accommodating and a very kind man. Can walk down the street to visit goats, horses and llamas. It’s not a fancy house but it has most everything you need and it’s a great deal especially for how big the house is :) I’ll be recommending it to any family or friends that comes to visit us.

Pre-Christmas Trip for a wedding

We rented this house two years ago to attend a niece’s wedding and found it again for another wedding. It’s great having 4 big bedrooms, full kitchen and large living area. We didn’t use the outside area but it was very pretty (seeing alpacas, horses and donkeys down the street is fun.). Great location and setup for our needs.

Perfect base for house hunting

Royce's house was exactly what we needed. We had plenty of space to move around and a huge yard to play in. We stayed for around three months, while selling our old, and buying our new house. Royce was a very accommodating host, and was there right away if we needed anything. He even helped us with some paperwork for our house. We got there just at the start of hatching for thousands of little frogs. The first wave was the biggest, then each time it rained there were more baby frogs. Our toddler loved this, and spent weeks playing with them. There was a family of rabbits that would run through the front and back yards playing throughout the day. My wife and I saw a baby lynx meander across the front yard, later on I saw mommy lynx.

A month's stay in a peaceful hideaway

We were in the process of moving back to Texas and our tenants would not be out for an additional 5 weeks. We opted to stay at Lefty's and it was perfect. The house had four bedrooms - which allowed us to spread out for both work and rest. We had everything we needed as well as a peaceful spot to enjoy the gorgeous trees and flowers all over the property. The neighborhood lends itself to an aimless walk in either direction from the end of the driveway. Oak Point park is nearby and has a scenic lake walk as well. We were close to all the businesses and agencies we needed as well as far enough away and private. Lefty's had it all. Royce is a fantasitc host. We saw him only a few times throughout our stay, but always in a friendly and neighborly manner. Highly recommend.

Country living in the city

This was an amazing place to stay. For a family of 5 we had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy our stay here. I can't say enough about this place and the location. Quiet and restful for sure. We would definitely return here for another stay, in fact we tried and they were booked.

Just turning onto our street encourages relaxation with wide open spaces and a country feel just outside the big city. Our kids grew up next door - and still live nearby. I work from home and live nearby so can answer any questions quickly.

We like unique properties with some elbow room rather than cookie cutter homes in a sub-division sea of houses. Here we can spread out and enjoy living near nature and people, instead of on surrounded by other people.
