Unsere Wohnung befindet sich in der Wohnanlage Fernandina Shores am Nordende der Insel. Das North End ist weniger überfüllt, so dass Sie garantiert einen Platz in der ersten Reihe am Strand haben. Es ist 200 Schritte Tür zum Sand. Zum Hauptstrand sind es ungefähr 10 Gehminuten. Dort gibt es einen Kinderspielplatz, einen Puttputt, einen Skatepark, einen Basketballplatz, Restaurants und Rettungsschwimmer. Das historische Fort Clinch liegt 1,6 km von der Wohnung entfernt. Es ist ein großartiger Ort, um einen Blick auf den Leuchtturm und die Tierwelt zu werfen, Joggen zu gehen oder eine Radtour zu unternehmen. Fort Clinch ist eines der am besten erhaltenen Forts in den Vereinigten Staaten und beinhaltet Touren und am ersten Wochenende des Monats Live-Nachstellungen.

Wir haben die gesamte Wohnung renoviert. Der große Wohnbereich verfügt über einen 65-Zoll-Ultra-HD-Smart-TV mit DirecTV. Das Hauptschlafzimmer und 1 von 2 Ersatzschlafzimmern verfügen über einen 43-Zoll-4-K-Ultra-HD-Fernseher. Zum Master gehört auch DirecTV. Wifi ist ebenso enthalten wie ein schlüsselloser Zugang, sodass Sie sich beim Entspannen am Strand oder am Pool nicht um einen Schlüssel kümmern müssen. Wir haben ein vollständiges Hauswasserenthärtungssystem installiert. Sie können Wasser aus der Spüle trinken, sodass Sie kein Mineralwasser mehr benötigen, wodurch sich Ihr Fußabdruck auf der Erde verringert. Ihre Haare und Haut fühlen sich großartig an!

Gleich die Straße runter auf der 14. Straße befindet sich ein Angelsteg und ein Kajak- / Bootsanleger. Der Apartmentkomplex verfügt über einen Parkplatz für Boote / Wohnmobile mit Vorankündigung. Der Egans Creek Greenway Trail befindet sich 1,6 km von der Wohnung entfernt und bietet kilometerlange Radwege und unberührte Natur.
Vergessen Sie nicht die historische Innenstadt von Fernandina Beach, die 3 Meilen von der Wohnung entfernt ist. Es hat viele Restaurants, Geschäfte, Pubs und vieles mehr. Sie könnten Tage hier verbringen, ohne alles zu sehen. Es gibt eine Fähre von hier, wenn Sie Cumberland Island für den Tag sehen möchten.
Soggy Bottoms bietet alles, was Sie für einen erholsamen Familienurlaub brauchen. Der Pool und die Tennisplätze, die 30 Meter von der Hintertür entfernt sind, stehen Ihnen zur Verfügung. Wir haben Liegestühle, Spielzeug und ein paar Flöße für Sie bereit. Die Wohnung ist sehr ruhig, also KEINE PARTEIEN und respektvoll sein. Wir haben diese Eigenschaft für fast 20 Jahre besessen. Wir haben sehr hart gearbeitet, bitte behandeln Sie es so, als würden Sie Ihr eigenes Zuhause behandeln.

Wonderful family trip

This was a PERFECT spot for our family trip. The property was clean and well-stocked, and the host was very communicative. We had a wonderful time walking to the beach to find shark teeth and shells and biking into the park or into town. Perfect spot for a quiet family trip.

Great time

My family flew in to visit with our oldest son who is stationed in Kings Bay! We had a great time hanging out the beach and enjoying some drinks at Sandbar while our 11 year old enjoyed playing in the sand. The house was perfect for the 5 of us. We had my MIL who also flew in to enjoy time with us! It was absolutely an amazing week!

Wonderful location! Great experience!

Just steps away from the beach and equipped with beach toys, rafts, and boards. My husband, teen daughter, and 9 year old boy had a fantastic vacation and this was the perfect place to stay! We would book it again ! Amelia Island is so beautiful !

Amazing Condo!!!

Amazing stay! Beds are super comfy, great water pressure, fully stocked kitchen, plenty of towels, water filter was a huge good surprise! Location is pretty nice-would love to be able to see the ocean. But walk was easy peasy. Manager very pleasant and helpful. Cleaning crew could put a better eye on things but overall very happy!! Worth every penny!

Not only was this place updated and clean, it also accommodated 2 families and my young grandchildren. The condo was a very short walk to the beach and also close the venue we were attending! Would definitely recommend to anyone!

Great Place to Stay

We enjoyed our stay in this townhome. It was clean, fully stocked, and easy access to the beach. The outdoor shower was wonderful for rinsing sand away and the enclosed back deck provided good storage for our beach stuff. The host was very responsive to our questions about the property and we had no issues during our stay. When we booked, we didn’t realize all bedrooms were upstairs. This was a concern with a toddler, but we purchased a portable gate and it turned out OK. The complex was very family friendly and we would recommend this property as a great place to stay!

Great stay, perfect beach

We had a great stay. Easy walk to the beach, which was never too crowded and beautiful! Condo was clean and comfortable. Appreciated the wagon, beach toys and beach chairs. Our only note- the steps were a bit steep for our 2 & 5 year old- wish there was a baby gate for evenings for safety. Thank you!

Girls Trip

The condo was great! Very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Very short walk to the beach where we rented beach chairs and umbrellas. Short drive to downtown where we ate dinner and shopped. I would highly recommend staying here and hope to visit again. We had six ladies and were very comfortable and felt very safe. The pool was conveniently located near the unit.

Amazing

This property is close to the beach, clean and in a great neighborhood. We had an issue with the door and the neighbor came right over to help us. We loved having the back door with shower. We went over memorial weekend and it wasn't crowded. The owners had a book of places to eat, things to do and rent. With their reviews and we loved that. Couldn't of asked for a better place to stay.

Not a good fit for us

A "tired" property. Linens and cookware need to be replaced with new. Needed a deep cleaning. Difficult for anyone with mobility challenges: main bathtub extremely slick and with out any rubber bathmat; nose on stairs made it easy to trip; no ground level area to sit outdoors and enjoy the fresh air. Probably fine for young families. Location was great for us. We enjoyed Fort Clinch Park and historic downtown Fernandina very much.

Amazing Place to Stay for Young Family

We absolutely LOVED our stay at Soggy Bottoms! Ashley went above and beyond to care for us during a critical transition for our family. We stayed at the condo more than 2 weeks as we adjusted to life with our newborn son! We travelled with our 2 daughters and they loved the kids table, the pool noodles/toys in the shed, drawing with the crayons and paper. We felt so welcome with lots of littles. The pack n play and toddler bed rail were so helpful! Ashley was a wonderful communicator and would immediately respond to any questions we had. The kitchen was so well stocked! Plenty of shower towels, hand towels, sheets, and beach towels. We enjoyed all the different chairs, floats, sand toys and the beach wagon in the shed! The foot shower and full outdoor shower were so great for getting sand off after the beach. This condo was in a quiet area, very clean, lots of friendly neighbors and a very short walk for our kids to get to the beach. The pool was used daily for our family! Another bonus was the water softener! Great clean water to drink. Close to the grocery stores and a 5 minute drive to the historic downtown with many shops and fun restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!

Positively Perfect!!!!

This was the first time I use VRBO, so I was just a little frightened, but the owner and this property was wonderful. The owner contacted me within minutes any time I had a question. The property was very clean and very very close to the beach. I saw a review about the distance of the property stating it was extremely close to beach and they were correct. The property had extra chairs for the beach and a little buggy for the very short trip.(We never used the buggy, its that close) Besides being close to beach you are maybe 2 minutes from Fort Clinch and maybe 5 minutes from a Publix, Winn Dixie and a Walmart that is trapped in 1990.(it is very small) Also 5 mintues away is the wharf, great shopping wonderful food. Plus inside the condo the owner has book telling good places to eat. Our recommendation is two places, Cucina South(Italian) and Bobs Steak and Chop House, makes me hungry thinking about them, you will need reservation. Would I stay here again????? YES!!! Any day of the week and during any time. If there was 6 stars I would give it 6. Cannot wait to rent again at this spot.

Great family stay

My daughter and her husband and four children ranging from 3 months to 7 years stayed and had plenty of room. We came over for dinner with a well stocked kitchen to use and plenty of room for everyone at the table or bar. The beach access is visible from where the car is parked and an easy two block walk. The street is not busy and the kids were able to ride their bikes with few cars coming by. The back fenced in porch was great for storage and well stocked with all kinds of beach things. A convenient water hose and additional faucet/shower for washing off the sand. We would gladly choose this location again.

Great Beach Trip with the Family

This trip consisted of Nana, Granddaddy, Moma, Daddy, 3 yr old and one yr old. And this was the perfect place. There were beach toys there for the kids so much less to pack for us. We forgot the kids tear free soap but were pleasantly surprised with finding some there. And the outside shower on that back porch was clutch! It is clean and we'll furnished. It's two blocks from the beach. Which for me is better than being in a high rise on the beach. And it's convenient to a lot of things on the island. The owner was also supper helpful pre-trip with quest about the island. I highly recommend staying here, especially if you have kids.

Perfect beach vacation

Great location easy walk to the beach which is not over populated and 2.5 miles from downtown. The house was so clean and had everything we needed and more beach chairs, tent, toys, and boards. Owners are very responsive and have some great recommendations. We have never been to the area and enjoyed our stay. A very nice family vacation spot. Love to return in the future!
