Family vacation
This was the perfect condo to accommodate 13 of us! The view was great and we were right on the beach. The owner was fast with responding and clearly explained everything. Will definitely recommend this place to everyone!

Friends Beach Trip
Very impressed. We travel to Gulf Shores area once a year and it's usually the same time as Hang Out Fest. Since we want to avoid that crowd, we looked east. Also needed at least a 4 bedroom/4 bath. Totally hard to find. Then we saw this listing. Did not know anything about Summerchase or the area but went ahead and booked. It was perfect. Condo was clean, relatively well maintained (it's not new), furniture was good (plenty of couches, tables, etc.). Kitchen was a little understocked - might need to bring some baking sheets - but we made it work. The location is exceptional. Right across street from Walgreen's, Publix, a liquor store and other stores. Beach access was good and not crowded. It's one of the only high rise complexes in this strip so just the immediate vacationers are on the beach. This is an older property so don't expect everything to be perfect. But it worked for us and if it's available next year, we're definitely going to try to book it. Enjoyed the balconies in the morning and evenings. Again, it's not new so don't go expecting everything new. But if you want great location, comfortable and functional condo, good beach, this is the property.

Overall the place was nice. It was big and roomy. However, they need to fire their cleaning crew. When we got there, everything was covered with sheet rock dust from the construction next-door. The sheets had not been washed. There was sand in the bed. And one of the bunkbed there were dirty socks, and candy wrappers. We did contact the rental agency in after a while they did reach out however, we had already gone and bought cleaning supplies and started washing all the sheets. I feel as though they should’ve offered me the cleaning fee I had to pay but no offer of that just a “sorry for the inconvenience.

Reviewer Comments: We loved the beach and we always stay in Orange Beach when we have the opportunity but we were disappointed with condo because of all the broken things in our condo I texted in a list of 15 things that needed repair and found 3 more problems before we left They sent a maintenance man to help but most of the problems would take several days to repair and we didn’t want to spend our vacation dealing with repairmen in the condo all day any way. I hope that the condo will be repaired before another family comes to stay because no one wants to spend their vacation working around problems that could and should have been repaired before we came there. I hope our complaints bring about a solid to the problems so the next occupants will be able to enjoy their stay more than we did.

For the price the place was a bit run down. The pics are immediately following a renovation and do not represent the current furniture that needs to be replaced. The kitchen had pans that were unusable and a set from Walmart would be a welcome addition The floors were filthy when we arrived with a blackness that coated our feet. That prompted me to buy a swiffer and clean the entire place which helped significantly. The broom was atrocious and virtually non-functional and there were no cleaning supplies It says it sleeps 14 but there were 6 patio chairs and none on the master patio. Again, inexpensive outdoor seating would’ve been welcome. The sliding glass doors need some work and window coverings for the west in the dead of summer would’ve been utilized had they been there. The dryer needs to be plumbed directly outside to Increase its efficiency as we did quite a bit of laundry with kids and constant use of the ocean. Having places to hang wet clothing in the master shower would’ve been fantastic! For the penthouse and the price I would recommend a jar with one dishwasher tab per nights stay, a larger dish soap, bathroom hand soap and packs of dish towels. That with a welcome basket and it would’ve been impressive. I may have reserved it for next year while on this trip! The location, though, allowed me to look past most of the above. The beach was beautiful, that stretch of ocean front was very kid friendly. The views from the unit were astounding. The proximity to the ocean was excellent and we utilized the freshwater pool regularly. Please note the building management would shut down the indoor water facilities if there was lightening** This despite me asking for data that supported that decision, of which there is none… My family used the stairs to the 13th floor (Penthouse) as exercise which was great The AC and hot water worked well. The secondary master sweet was difficult to cool, but that shower was utilized by the teens at a pretty constant rate and I think that may have had some effect My first trip to Orange Beach (usually a Caribbean girl,) did not disappoint over all. I’m not sure I’d stay in that specific unit again, but I would definitely return to the area and that building! Hope this is helpful

The AC unit did leak all over the floor and they had it fixed within 12 hours. However, the bunk beds were split on the top rails with lots of random screws attempting to hold it together and generally felt unsafe. Adequate pantry space for foods. Publix is within walking distance. Disliked having to walk through the parking lot through where they took the dumpster out (where it leaked onto the ground) to get to the pool and beach. Both pools were good but the outside lacked any sort of shade. A family set up a canopy one day which is a good idea. Distance to beach was excellent. Beach service was really nice. Balcony was good (updated smaller width railing and sturdy). Unfortunately, all but 1 curtain had been taken down in the main living area so we were unable to shut the curtains on one part of the windows. Parking lot is very tight (especially when everyone is driving larger SUVs and vans). Good driving distance to many restaurants

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed in PH 4 Summerchase for now 7 years. In that 7 years there has been no updates made, no attempt to fix any complaints or suggestions we made in the past. Basically the condo is in way worse condition than when we started staying there in 2014. When we arrived on June 26, the dishwasher was full of dirty water, dirty dishes were put away in the cabinets and drawers, drapes were all missing in living area of the condo and it was filthy with the exception of clean sheets. Within 5 min of the kids walking around barefoot their feet were black from the disgusting state of the floors. When we tried to go out on the balcony from the main doors we found them to be broken. Once outside the railing is so loose & a safety hazard wouldn’t allow anyone to touch them for fear of it falling over. There were also only 7 chairs for a condo that sleeps 14?? The kitchen states it’s fully stocked but there was 3 of the 6 measuring cups missing, no liquid measure and 2 of the 4 plastic bowls had cracks or holes in them, utensils have seen better days and need to be replaced. The blender base is gross and has mold growing in it. The hall bathroom hand towel holder and door hooks have been ripped off but we had no hand towels and they had 2 towels for the entire bathroom across from a room that’s supposed to sleep 4??? The hall bedroom has no drawer space for clothing, doors on closet don’t stay on tracks and mirror is missing on back of the door and tub still doesn’t drain properly. We’ve notified at least the last 3 years of that problem. Front master bedroom rug is dirty and bathroom cabinet doors are about to fall off the hinges. Drapes in the bedroom are missing wand to close them and are coming off the hooks. Overall the state of this condo is pitiful considering our consistent increase in rental fees, and decline in conditions. The only positive is the location of the condo building. This could be prime rental proper

Break taking view of the Gulf
Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful condo with beautiful -4. Bedrooms. Great accommodations and space for our large family vacation. Great location right on the gulf. Penthouse with great views. Parking situation is NOT good. I was told we would have 2 parking passes but upon arrival only had 1 and had to purchase another on site. Liquid Life staff had previously told me that public parking was located next door but the week of in discussions with staff about the parking (we had 4 cars), public parking was not mentioned and was sent several options for paid parking off site which was done. It is very inconvenient to be taking people a few miles away to retrieve their cars while on vacation. Plus I believe that staff should have been more forthcoming about the parking situation. I have an email stating that I would have 2 spots on site. The parking is much a downer but I would still recommend this fantastic condo, just beware. There was anxiety about our cars being broken into and vandalized while parked out in an open area. The condo was clean and is beautiful. There were some issues that maintenance needed to have fixed before our arrival and should have been reported by housekeeping. A shower door almost come off track and hit my 8 month pregnant daughter. ANother shower door would not slide properly, the ice maker would not close properly. If housekeeping is doing their job, these things should be reported and repaired. ALl in all, a lovely vacation. But I would just make sure the parking situation was totally understood before arrival.
