Wedding Weekend

Our daughters wedding was made even more special because of this beautiful property! We had all 4 of our adult children and their families along with my mother under one roof which was AMAZING! This property is exceptional. Gathering around the large kitchen island, watching the Celtics game outside projected on the garage, sitting on the beautiful deck and around the fire pit all made our time more memorable. The sunsets were so beautiful! We had other members rent one of the smaller houses on the property which was even more memorable as we blended two families on this wedding weekend. Thank you to Mary, and her family for allowing us to make your beautiful home part of the wedding! We WILL BE BACK!

The house and grounds were well maintained and lovely. The house had windows all around to capture the natural beauty of the Marsh and the surrounding area. The house had every possible amenity, nothing was forgotten. The kitchen was well equipped. On the negative side, I found the check-in and the check-out times were not easy to deal with, still I would highly recommend this house to anyone considering renting this house.

Milestone bday family celebration

We gathered together as a family, 3 generations from 73 yrs to 1, and thoroughly enjoyed a celebration for my husband's 70th milestone bday at this wonderful rental over a three day holiday weekend. There was enough room for all to spread out, with an open kitchen which was very well equipped for everyone to use and the dining table was a wonderful gathering spot as was the sitting area in front of the fireplace. The home is as beautiful as depicted in the photos, with enough amenities and bedding for all. Due to the winter weather we did not partake of the outdoor activities but had an unusual event of winter flooding and snow squaws during our stay, which we all viewed with bated breath thru the large windows. Communication with Mary was always timely and thorough to rest our fears and she offered options for all our concerns. An item was left behind and Mary kindly offered a way for me to retrieve it a week later. We would definitely want to stay again and can only offer a huge thumbs up to anyone else even tho we'd love to keep it a secret! Our most appreciative ARIGATOU for helping to make my husband's bday so memorable!

Possibly the best place we're ever rented. Just PERFECT!

We were a group of ten friends looking for a peaceful and gorgeous place to stay and this house exceeded our expectations in every way. From the initial email exchanges to the instructions provided just before our stay and the on-site binder, communication was spot on and incredibly professional. You can tell the owners care about this wonderful house and want to share this love with their guests. Every one of the six bedrooms was gorgeous with large windows and beautiful views. There was everything you could possibly need. From the quality of the furniture, the linens, the amount of towels, face towels, face cloths etc.. This is quite possibly the best rental house we’ve ever had the pleasure of renting. The kitchen was fully stocked with tons of glassware, dishware, silverware, pots and pans, spices etc. All appliances were top quality. In short, a perfect stay and exactly as advertised. An absolute worry-free and memorable stay at this wonderful place. Thank you!

BEST weekend of our life

My husband and I wanted to have a wedding weekend where our families could both come together and mingle before we got married on Sunday! These houses gave us exactly that! They thought of EVERYTHING you could possibly need. The views are incredible and not to mention the amount of privacy these houses offer you. Best VRBO stay ever!!!!

The area was very peaceful, the house was full of natural light and great common spaces to relax. Bathrooms were stocked with everything you needed, shampoo, soap, TP, etc. The kitchen was stocked with spices, paper towels, and waters. The house boats and bikes were great hit with the family. The owners were very kind and responsive. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Beautiful home and place…..

While it rained most of the week we were there the place was beautiful. A little woodsy and a little oceany. Marsh and ocean within walking distance. Ferry ride to Boston was great for the kids (8-17). Homeowner was great with things to do and very communicative with any questions. Def would rent again and highly recommend staying here!!!!

Amazing house for daughter’s wedding weekend!

Everything about this property was amazing and as described. We stayed for a long weekend for my daughter’s wedding at the River Club. The bedrooms were all well appointed for my adult family members. The house had everything you could ever need or want… all very organized, explained and in great condition. My daughter and the bridal party got ready at the house and it worked perfectly for the hair and makeup team, brunch and the rest of the family could relax out of the way in the large common area downstairs. We got to relax one day, walked to the nearby beach and used the kayaks on the marsh. We used the grill and sat by the beautiful fire pit after playing corn hole. This house has it all! Would love to return again! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Trip of a lifetime

Family from all over the country flew in for this amazing family vacation. The house was perfect for all of us and had activities for all ages to enjoy. The house is centrally located, which made excursions easy. It was very clean and exactly as advertised. Everything worked great and we never even needed to contact the owners. We were able to see fireworks from the marsh area and even just sitting in the backyard. We biked to the beach almost every day. The house was stocked with everything imaginable including shampoo + conditioner and body wash, utensils to shuck oysters, spices for cooking, games for kids, binoculars to view the marsh, etc. We will be back!!!

Can’t speak highly enough

The property is GORGEOUS. The views from every room are spectacular, and the house contained every amenity we would want. In addition, the hosts could not have been more responsive.. had a minor issue with fireplace and someone was sent to us in a torrential downpour ( we are from California.. may be exaggerating as we don’t know what rain is.) to fix it, in what felt like 5 minutes. If I am ever in area again… definitely would stay there… and if you are going… BOOK THIS PROPERTY!!

Beautiful, spacious home — excellent for a large family gathering

Our family (3 generations), had a wonderful long weekend at Stella Maris! We enjoyed exploring the marsh, kayaking at high tide, cooking in the well stocked kitchen, and playing games both indoors and outside. Our host Mary, was extremely easy to work with and responsive to messages. Would love to return!!

Fantastic house! Fantastic host!

This home was everything as advertised, and even prettier than the pictures. The house was perfect in every way for our family reunion, we especially liked the deck for morning coffee and sunset viewing. The host was very attentive, all communications were quickly answered. The house booklet provided was especially helpful for us to navigate all the ammenties, such as the gas fire pit. We all agreed that if we can make another reunion happen in the east this will be the house.

Perfection

I cannot say enough about this property, the house and communication with the owner. We have done a lot of VRBOs and this is by far the best. The property is gorgeous with a short walk to the beach that my 6 and 4 year old could handle. The house is fully stocked and the extras (corn hole, paddle boards, kayaks, bikes, etc) were endless. We were here on a family vacation and it was absolutely wonderful. Thank you!

Stella Maris was everything it was described to be, and more. We chose the house for its size and proximity to Quincy. We had 8 adults and a toddler and there was plenty of room for everyone. The views and sunsets from the deck were amazing! The hosts really thought of everything that you may need for your stay. The extra blankets for chilly nights on the deck came in handy on several occasions. The kitchen is more than well equipped. I do not think there was anything missing for even the most discerning chef. The house is secluded and private, but well situated for all the things that Scituate and the surrounding area has to offer. It was especially nice walking around the private grounds, watching the sea birds poke around the marsh, and just taking in the beautiful, natural surroundings. If you are looking for seclusion and peace and quiet, this is definitely the place. I only wish we had more time to take advantage of the kayaks, paddleboard, and area beaches. Hope to return again with even more family!

As kids, we loved exploring the marsh, playing kickball, riding our bikes to the beach and reading under trees. In the winter, we'd go sledding & ice skating. It was a kid's paradise. As adults, we appreciate the serene privacy, fun shopping, great restaurants, history and proximity to Boston. Our family has owned Treasure Island for 80 years and we are delighted to be able to share it with others.

Whatever the season, the views from the house are ever changing. Whether the water is a brilliant blue or a steel gray, whether the marshes are still or rippling in the breeze, sunny skies or approaching storms-the view is mesmerizing. The house is warm, inviting and comfortable. There is plenty of space to be together or to find some solitude. Gathering on the upstairs deck in relaxing seats to watch the sun set with cocktails in hand, is a favorite activity.
