Fun Vacation Rental

Location is great and convenient, condo was very clean and had everything we needed. The elevators can be a nightmare for loading and unloading, however it was just a very busy time of year as well. Property manager was very responsive and we had a great vacation!

We had a great time this year in Panama. Our room was amazing with a beautiful view and more then enough room for the four of us. I’m big about cleanliness of a room and this place did not disappoint. I have nothing bad to say about this place it was a family favorite!!

Great room, poor resort

The cramped garage and too few elevators are why we won’t be coming back. The room itself was fantastic, beautiful, great views, and clean! My kids even said, “you’re spoiling us!”

Very Clean!

Property owner is wonderful!! She responded promptly to any and all questions and was a delight to speak with!! Bunk room has it's own bathroom and was perfect for our 3 kids (17,15 & 11) during our stay.

This is THE place!

Our condo was perfect! Beautifully decorated & very clean. The kitchen was nicely stocked w/ a toaster, slow cooker, air fryer, pizza pan & cutter (this was important to our teenager), & items I always forget on vacation (general seasonings, non-stick spray, etc). Gorgeous view from the balcony! Great communication w/ property mgr & nice welcome package. Highly recommend!

Beautiful Spot but lots of Partying Teens

Although the condo itself was great and the owners were very attentive to our needs the complex itself was overrun with partying teenagers. The elevators were very busy with long wait times. Overall we enjoyed our stay but probably would not return simply due to the crowdedness and young party crowd.

Great pool/beachfront location

First, the good: great location (not many restaurants nearby, so, you have to drive a bit), clean condo, beautiful beach and pool. The owners have everything you need there to enjoy your stay. Great communication with the owner! So friendly and helpful. I also thought the price was great compared to other options. Now, the bad: I had read reviews that the elevators were slow. But, the reviews could not do it justice. We spent (on average) 90 minutes a day waiting for elevators. The elevators are constantly breaking and out of order. They’re small, and there is no circulation in them. One got stuck full of people during our stay and it took firefighters 30 minutes to get them out! Also, the parking ramp is a madhouse and takes a super long time even though we only had to go up 5 levels. Unfortunately, for us, the elevators were a deal breaker. Simply because of the elevators, I would not stay here again. I know this is not the fault of the owners, but, it did take away from our enjoyment, relaxation, and ultimately cost us a lot of time over the course of the week. If you don’t mind the wait, great place to stay.

What's the deal with parking "security"?

3rd time staying here/1st time dealing w/ parking security. 1st day (May 27), drive up.A young man stops us to get our info.I inform him, we have checked in online & paperwork is in our condo.He writes the unit #/dates of our stay on a yellow 4x6 card.I place it on the dash & proceed to the 5th floor assigned parking.Came & went, no one questioning or stopping us.The bright yellow card proudly displayed for the world to see. June 1st, Thought I had a code in an email, so I pulled into the owners entrance. Check emails, but don't see a code. Traffic is backing up into the street. CLEARLY I'm having issues, but the attendant does not walk over until I motion & call out to him. I explain the issue & the unit that I'm staying in. Instead of pressing a button to have the arm come up, he proceeds to walk back to the other cars to have them BACK UP INTO TRAFFIC. I go through the correct entrance & am stopped by security questioning where my parking pass is. I show them the card. He repeatedly tells me this is NOT a parking pass, that its his job to have my car towed. Back/forth, I'm not arguing, but he isn't listening. He finally lets us pass. Owner is quick to apologize & gives me the code to avoid this issue. Next day, put in the code, security JUMPS in front of the car, waving his arms wanting to know where my parking pass. We explain. He tells us its his job to see who comes/goes (as he leans over, looks in our car), says that he sees 3 beautiful women, we can enter.

Clean Unit & Best Beach View

Thank goodness this unit was available & so so clean! It had spectacular views and the owner was so accommodating to allow us to stay last minute. We had a great vacation & enjoyed the beach views from living room & master bedroom. Unit is updated, linens are clean, unit smells good, without a bunch of fake air fresheners. We had planned to stay at another property (not a high rise), but upon arrival @ 10pm the bed sheets had someone else’s hair all through the beds, so again, thankful for this owner! You cannot go wrong with this unit & these owners! Vera & her family with SUNSHINE on 15 are great.

The condo was great

I enjoyed my stay, the room was clean and there were no issues with the host or the room itself... The facility however, I had complaints, the elevators were a nightmare and the parking garage was as well. Thankfully we had a dedicated spot, but maneuvering in and out was extremely tight (full size sedan).

Loved the room

We absolutely loved the room! It was very homey and clean! The condominium it’s self not the greatest the elevators were horrible! Some of the staff were very rude! Also one of the days we were there (Wednesday) the pool was closed all day! But overall we did have a good vacation. Honestly will not go back to shores of Panama. I just wanna say it was the best and easiest check in and out experience I have ever had and the hosts were wonderful.

Absolutely amazing vacation

We absolutely love the Shores of Panama. The owners of this unit helped make this another great trip to the beach. Everything was included from the silverware to the beach chairs. We loved the decor and all the furnishings were comfortable and clean. Add the reserved parking was a bonus. Will definitely be coming back.

Beautiful views

We loved our stay here! Beautiful views! Condo was cute, cozy and clean! Elevators were not as crazy as everyone makes them out to be. The place was packed (like I have never seen) and we didn’t have to wait long at all the whole week. Would definitely recommend this rental.

Great place to stay!

This was our first time staying at this condo, and I am so glad we did! The owner of this condo communicates very well and very attentive to any questions that you may have. The condo itself was VERY clean and the decor is beautiful! Gorgeous view with a huge balcony also! Only had to really 'wait' for the elevators once, and that was during 10am check-in time, so it was to be expected, and even then it really wasn't an issue at all! We will definitely be planning another stay here and renting this unit again! Had a fabulous vacation week! Thank you, Michelle, for all of your help during my planning of our family vacation! Looking forward to future trips!

Wonderful condo!

We enjoyed this condo SO much. It was very clean, well stocked and beautifully decorated. The check-in process was easy as well as the check-out process. (We checked in and out with the actual owner and not the resort so I cannot attest to the resort’s process.) The owner was very easy to work with and communicated very well with me. The elevators are terrible at check-in and check-out time, yes. You’ll get that at any large condo. If you avoid the elevators at those times and use one of the back elevators, you won’t have a problem at all. The viewed the ocean and the pool was incredible. The pool was amazing and there was even a place to eat and a bar on the pool deck as well as a small pizza place near the front lobby. We didn’t have to get in our cars at all because everything was within walking distance. We walked to Pineapple Willy’s a few times to eat. We walked to Walmart for groceries. We walked to everywhere! It was fabulous! Our entire stay was amazing and we hope to be able to stay here again next time!

We had a great stay at the condo. The unit was clean and the owner was easy to communicate with. The only downfalls are the parking garage and the elevators which they tell you about before you stay and the owners can’t control. We would stay again. Thank you!

Family beach trip

We very much enjoyed our stay. Our condo was beautiful, very clean, spacious, and well stocked with everything we needed. The balcony was massive! The owner is very attentive. The resort itself is also beautiful and in an ideal location. There are a LOT of people at this resort and as I already knew, the elevators can be a challenge and it can get noisy. But overall, it was a great trip.

Pros condo was very nice and well cared for clean etc location is good close to many things within walking distance. Cons there are many young people there for partying etc The parking garage was not much fun at all and the elevators were definitely a downside too but with condos that is to be expected

Always a home away from home

This was our 4th stay in this condo. It has always felt like home away from home and just keeps getting better. The owners have updated the unit recently, adding in an even more "beach feel" to the space. The owners are also always very responsive and follow up with us to ensure we enjoyed our stay. This will always be our go-to when we go to PCB.
