In a word, terrible. The furniture was lousy; the dishwasher mal functioned; the BBQ was so filthy we could not use it all week and the hot tub jets did not work. Things like these should be taken care of before placing the house in the rental pool. My attorney will be contacting you shortly in regards to a refund.

Hot weekend

We had a fun time and had room for everyone. However, it was very difficult to keep the house at a comfortable temperature even with bringing extra fans. Awesome deck for after 5 pm! Hot tub was a good size but jets were hardly working. Kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals. VERY small TV in living room so we didn’t have a movie night. Lovely home overall.

False Advertising

The photos of the furnishings in the house are incorrect. They had put an old table in the dinning room with a plastic tablecloth over it and brought in terrible metal chairs that were for outside but had no cushions on them so were very uncomfortable. The nice bar stools at the kitchen counter are not there, just wood seats with no backs. There were missing shades in the bedrooms and throughout the house, we had to hang sheets up for privacy in the bedrooms. There were also lots of flying wood ants on the back decks, which made it very hard to sit outside. The glass cook stove was cracked on two burners so we could only use two burners which slowed down out meal preparations. We called and reported it to them and they knew about it but didn’t tell us prior to arrival. The garbage cans outside were over flowing with trash and there were additional full bags of trash sitting out. We called and reported it and they said they would contact someone to pick it up but no one came until the next day so we had to keep our bagged trash inside so animals wouldn’t get in to it. The house is very run down, the couches are so bad that when you sit on them you are only a couple inches off the floor. They need to go to the dump. We really deserve a credit for our stay there. We drove from out so state to stay here and we’re highly disappointed. We will never stay with VACASA again. Their customer service was terrible.

House with plenty of room

We enjoyed the space in the house and the well stocked kitchen. The house is in need of some upkeep but overall clean and completely functional. There were lots of games, food ball table, ping pong, wood for fireplace (bring your own lighter and kindling), assortment of DVDs, ample TVs, and hot tub.

We arrived and checked in right on time. Easy access with key coded lock. Beautiful home, nice location on the golf course. Plenty of room for parking all 4 of our vehicles. There were some minor issues (ice maker didn’t work, bbq wasn’t working right) which were attended to right away. Friendly staff and friendly repair men. The mattress in upstairs bedrooms were very comfortable. Watch out in the shower, the water gets warm and then cool and I hope nobody flushes a toilet while your in there!! The furniture could use some updating. The sectional couch had many “worn out” low spots. Only 1 light in the garage where the ping pong and foosball table are so you pretty much can only play during the day with the garage doors open for lighting. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and give this home a 👍

Family getaway

Love the location and the openness of the house. The kids loved the bikes, games, sharc pool and village. A few minor issues that we came across were The bedroom upstairs pull up curtain is broken, so it made it challenging to let the cool air in, And the dead bolt downstairs was very difficult to unlock. Very Nice Home - No AC

This is a nice house that easily accommodated our group of 7 adults and 3 young children. It’s well-equipped and spacious, and the beds are comfortable. Be aware that there is NO AIR CONDITIONING, and if you are there during hot weather, you will find this house challenging to cool. Vacasa assured us they would load the house with fans, but not knowing what that would mean, we brought along two good-sized portable air conditioning units and four fans. To keep the house comfortable, we needed every one of them (plus the two fans we found in the house) running pretty much around the clock, plus diligent attention to opening windows at night and closing them as soon as the weather began to warm up each morning. We would come back to this place, but not during the warmer summer months. The SHARC swimming complex was not open Tuesday or Wednesday, presumably due to post-Covid staffing shortages. Check before you book—kids love SHARC, and it’s a shame if they don’t get to enjoy it.

June family stay

The location was good and the home was well equipped and nicely decorated. Propane was empty on the barbecue, trash cans were half full when we arrived but that was all OK and problems solved with phone call to Vacasa. Be aware! This home has no A/C! We had temperatures in the 90's while we stayed and the home was very hot by afternoon/evening. It cooled off around 8:30 pm and with windows open and fans, it was comfortable for sleeping.

Fun Getaway with a couple problems

We loved the house, it was perfect for our group. My sister traveled from Iowa and we traveled from Los Angeles. Unfortunately, the second night we grilled we ran out of propane, and there was no spare, nor did we have time to call the management company, because our meat was halfway cooked . That was a bummer. We had five kids ages 10-13 with us. The main thing the kids were looking forward to was the SHARC aquatic facility. We arrived Monday afternoon, in our swimsuits, to find that the SHARC was closed all week (Monday -Friday) not opening until Saturday, the day we were leaving Sunriver. We were checking the website regularly and interpreted it as people with the passes were able to use the facility. We were told by the manager of the SHARC that the homeowners and property managers were notified of the closure and were supposed to inform their renters. We were not informed. We also were not informed that the north pool (which the property lists as one of the pools we have access to) was closed as well. One of the reasons we chose this rental property, and paid more, was because it included SHARC passes. We spent over an hour of our time talking to the managers at the SHARC, calling the general manager as well as the aquatics director to try and get in at some point during our stay. After many calls and much planning we were able to spend one hour at the SHARC before departing on Saturday. When we made our reservation we were asked questions about our group including the ages of our children. The SHARC was one of the reasons we chose Sunriver. Daily swimming was a huge part of our vacation planning. We are reasonable people who would have greatly appreciated being informed of this closure of the facility that must families like us look forward to. It was a huge disappointment.

Great Place!

A beautiful home in a great location. Private hot tub area and awesome upper deck that overlooks the 11th fairway of the Woodlands course. Perfect for two, four or up to eight people very comfortably. If you stay here, you will need nothing. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen is well provided.

Fun time!!

The house was large enough for eight adult couples to stay at. We had a few hiccups with the home but we still had a great time. Vacasa was so helpful and timely with our issues. We have rented many other homes in the past. This was the first home that had a lot of major kitchen items we needed to cook with. Loved the location.
