Alte Friedhöfe zum Erkunden und Wälder voller Vögel, Rehe und Viecher. Unser Platz ist ruhig, bis auf gelegentliche Owl Hoots und Hound Dogs vom Waycross Fishing Club in der Nähe.
Bringen Sie eine Angel mit ... sie beißen! Buffalo Creek, direkt am Satilla River, liegt träge vor diesem gemütlichen Cottage, das von unserem Fischteich und dem Fluss, eingebettet in riesige Eichen, bergauf geht. NEU. Wir haben gerade einen "Tree Pier" durch riesige Zedern, Zypressen und andere Bäume gebaut, die die Ufer unseres Flusses säumen! Ein rustikales altes Boot gehört Ihnen, um Creekview Springs POND zu paddeln, um zu fischen ... oder einfach nur zu paddeln.
Weniger als eine Stunde von Brunswick / St. Simons, St. Mary's, Cumberland Island, Fernandina Beach, Amelia Island, Okeefenokee Swamp ... mit ihren bekannten Attraktionen entfernt!

Diese Hütte ist ein Rückzugsort für Familien auf einem Hügel am Fluss und bietet alle Annehmlichkeiten für einen ruhigen Kurzurlaub! (5 Meilen die Straße runter von der Hochzeitsscheune unseres Cousins)
Geräumige Master Suite mit Dusche und Whirlpool. Schlafboden mit Kingsize-Bett und zwei Einzelbetten sowie Ausziehbett Sofa in Great room. Das zweite Bad ist mit einer schönen Dusche ausgestattet. Draußen gibt es eine altmodische Dusche für Jäger und Fischer mit heißem Wasser!

Great cabin getaway

Lovely location and just what we wanted for the weekend. 40 minutes to the wildlife refuge and around 45 minutes to the golden isles. Very quiet, and the nearby resients were pleasant.

Quiet Retreat

Hard to find a quieter place to stay! A rustic, but comfortable place to hang out for a few days while visiting family in South Georgia. We arrived after dark, but the host made it easy to find. Only thing to note is that the beds all had feather pillows, so if that’s an issue for you, make sure you bring your own.

Wonderful host and the cabin was lovely and perfect for our family

I would recommend this cabin. This is a beautiful cabin that is very reasonable in price. This cabin is only 2 hours south of Savannah and about 40 minutes from the beautiful islands off the coast of Georgia. The location is peaceful and worth the stay. Savannah is pretty but way too expensive to stay there. The host of the cabin is so kind and available for any questions.

Cozy cottage under the oaks

We were pleasantly surprised with this cabin. It is out of town a bit and a peaceful place to relax for a bit. The beds were very comfortable, there was everything we needed to enjoy the property (including a fishing pole), and the location was lovely. The owner is kind and very helpful if we needed something. And the neighbors were friendly. We loved sitting on the front porch, listening to the birds or sipping on our morning coffee. We enjoyed making fires in the fire pit and feeding to fish. We visited the Okefenokee Swamp several times to rent a canoe or walk on the short trails and boardwalks. Laura Walker Park was another nice place to walk. This was the perfect place for us to escape the snowy north for a few weeks and we wouldn’t hesitate to come here again.

Covid 19 dictated that we leave 8 days early.

The location of the property was ideal for us. The facility provided all the amenities we needed for an enjoyable stay. The property owner responded to all questions promptly. The pandemic caused us to leave 8 days early; over a third of our scheduled stay was interrupted, making the per-day cost more expensive than planned. Beautiful cabin and site for a relaxing time.

Hideaway

I rent this place for an extended stay for a local work project. Pros-Cool little cabin. Nice and comfortable. Plenty of space. Great property surrounded by majestic live oaks. A commune for owls. The owner is awesome. Cons- internet is not able to support heavier work or entertainment tasks. Long sandy drive in. I have an FJ Cruiser and Tacoma, so no issue, but a street bike (motorcycle) would be in trouble. Overall- I would definitely stay here again. The owner made my unique arrangement as smooth as could be.

Solitude

Riverfront Log Cabin is a place of quiet solitude. The lodgings are perfectly comfortable for three of four adults. There is sleeping room for more, but if you plan to spend a good deal of time inside, you may feel cramped. The river out front is a nice bonus. Prepare ahead: buy groceries in Nahunta or another nearby town before traveling to the cabin. It is a good distance to the store, so you can minimize your trips and enjoy more of the peace and quiet by planning ahead. Delena was an absolute pleasure to work with: quick response to any questions, eager to work out any difficulties. My three main suggestions for improvement would be internet designated for the cabin (you piggyback, with permission, off the neighbor), a landline phone (to be sure of communication in case of an emergency), and a washer/dryer in the carport storage area. We were Delena's first guests, so she may have already made some of these improvements. She is eager to provide the best accommodations she can, and make your stay as enjoyable as she is able.
