Das Haus wurde kürzlich renoviert und verfügt über 5 Schlafzimmer, 3 Bäder und einen Dachboden. Das Haus ist etwas mehr als 1,6 km von der Main Street entfernt und 2 lokale Lieblingsrestaurants erreichen Sie bequem zu Fuß. Perfekte Lage mit der Nähe zur Main Street und doch weit genug entfernt, um die Ruhe der Adirondacks zu genießen.
Das Haus verfügt über eine voll ausgestattete Küche und offene Wohnräume auf beiden Etagen, ideal für Familien oder große Gruppen. Das weitläufige Deck verfügt über einen Whirlpool und auf der eingezäunten Seite befindet sich eine große Feuerstelle.

Spacious, cozy, and convenient to town!

Our family of four stayed with another family for the weekend. We had plenty of space, the kids enjoyed the games in the basement and the house had all of the kitchen amenities we needed to make breakfast and some snacks. We ate out for lunch and dinner. The house was a quick and easy drive into downtown Lake Placid and only about 15 minutes from both White Face Ski Resort and the Bobsled/Skeleton track in the other direction. Definitely recommend!

Great house big and roomy, Three bathrooms are key. Walkable for us to town. We have rented this house three times and have been happy every time.

Great House and location.

This house was great. I was apprehensive because of the reviews, but everything went well. There were some little issues but nothing major. The owner needs to update the pictures online and should mention all the heated floors in the bathroom and hall entrance as a huge plus! Towels were plentiful and the construction was completed from what we saw. The only suggestions we had is to add more utensils in the kitchen and improve the heat in the downstairs game room area.

Our Favorite House in Lake Placid

We had another great weekend in Lake Placid. Ashley and Ben are extremely helpful and friendly. The house is perfect and we look forward to staying next year.

Great stay!

Quick drive to town. The hosts were very accommodating. The home was spacious and beautiful with a bonus bed in the loft. Beds were comfortable. The heat worked well and the hot tub was a great bonus.

Family getaway

Hot tub was great but no towels for it. Also usually ladies need 2 towels when they get out of shower because of long hair, would be nice to have extras on hand. Fabulous place

Friends Getaway

My buddies and I used this property for a weekend getaway of hiking, golf, UTV, and much more outdoor activities. We had an absolute blast at this house!! So much space, very clean, and a very big bonus was the hot tub!! I would highly recommend using this house for your own and have a great time like we did. I am most definitely considering using this house again in the future for family getaways!!

Nice location ok house

The house has approximately 3000 square feet with two bedrooms and 2 baths on the main floor and 3 bedrooms 1 bath on the sub level (basement). A few of the bedrooms and 1 bath have pocket doors. The door with the twin beds won’t close. We had 7 people and we didn’t have enough towels to use throughout the week. The washer was displaying N1 on it and we couldn’t figure out how to work it (even after watching YouTube videos and googling the make and model). There were DVDs provided to watch but no DVD player. The main problem we all had with the house was the beds. They were horribly uncomfortable. The hot tub is on the deck which overlooks the front yard and the fire pit is in the back of the house. Other than that, it’s a nice house. Good location about 5 min from town by car. Has an air hockey and other game table. Two TVs (although no remote for the one downstairs TV). The loft is nice but the stairs are beautiful and dangerous ( for me anyway) to walk down. There is a queen bed up there too. We didn’t use that one so I can’t comment on it.

Stunning Cabin, Close to Rail Trail!

We had a fabulous time in this stunningly beautiful home. We were so relaxed and comfortable, the house had everything. A bit of a walk to Lake Placid but doable. Very close to a rail trail, which is a gorgeous and easy walk. Beds were comfortable, house had AC. Great game room. Highly recommend.

Destination family wedding

The place was nice and clean…comfy and roomy. One complaint is that we felt they didn’t provide enough extra and there were no pillow cases for the pillows. The kitchen was well stocked with all that was needed. Neighbors big dogs were a bit of a nuisance at times… early morning barking and running loose through the yard. Other than those issues it was overall a good experience.

Wouldn’t stay again - wish I read previous reviews

I received a txt message the morning of the day we were checking in saying that they are under construction and it is a bit delayed and the only thing it would affect was going to be some little part of a fence … when we arrived the host was on site and warned us about some other things, there were metal shavings all over the outside deck where the hot tub was to not go barefoot that a new metal roof was put in… the hot tub had white stuff floating all in it and we were told that was from the construction also and it was quite disgusting, we specifically book houses with hot tubs because we enjoy them, there were construction items left around the house,the fire pit was not usable the grass was long and over grown,a paint brush in the freezer.we were also made aware there would be construction at his other house next door and asked how late we planned on sleeping in, 8 am there were men walking around the house past the bedrooms etc.. at one point we came home and men were up on the deck,We were 6 girls on a girls trip and felt very uncomfortable,my son was camping near by and I asked him to come stay the second night with us, there were cobwebs all in the big windows in the main living area, no handles on any of the doors to the bedrooms downstairs they were difficult to open and close, the games downstairs do not work, the couch in the main area upstairs was stained and disgusting.. no dish washer pods to clean the dishes, roaming dogs, pictures don’t match, grill was gross

House under construction

This property is currently under construction which the photos do not show. Furthermore the washer and dryer did not function correctly. Several rooms had no electric outlets working, the games down in the basement were broken. Host did reach out and promise to take care of things after we arrived. They then left for vacation and promised a refund in full only to get one night refunded. I would not recommend this property at this current time

Good Experience but a Work in Progress

This home is in the midst of renovations. This means a new fridge and also construction materials around the property (no fenced in yard for pets, plus empty bottles/gum wads, etc around construction area). The house is clean and new on the interior but does not look like the pictures in many way. We came here with a mobility impaired family member, the new high top kitchen table was a disaster. There is lots of space (we had three families together). All of the exterior features were problematic (buried fire pit, no dog yard, loose neighbor dogs that “visit” the yard when you are out, dirty grill, dirty hot tub). None of the pocket doors had handles (strange and dangerous?) and there was no “user guide” for anything in the house (how to turn on heat, what to do with garbage/recycling, how to work gas stoves, where are extra supplies, etc), but the owners responded to questions. My guess is this place will be amazing when the renovations are complete. The house hit the balance between clean and usable (not afraid you will break something but also not afraid to be comfortable on the older couch). Don’t regret the stay but not sure I would have made the same rental decision knowing what I know now (especially the access piece).

Wonderful Winter Weekend

This was our second friend getaway at this house. We had a terrific weekend along with a spring snowstorm. The hosts were very welcoming and offered several ideas on how to enjoy the snow and area. Kids love the downstairs space and games. This home has plenty of room for all and the radiant floor heat is a bonus. The adults enjoyed chatting and sitting by the fire upstairs but could use a couple more seating options for multiple visitors. Thank you for allowing our family pup to join us as well. We look forward to reliving our memories until next time.

DIY disaster

While the property was clean and the host responsive, what would appear to be the DIY nature of the construction was problematic from a safety standpoint. There was a loose railing on the loft, unfinished closets, lights missing with wires hanging out, multiple non-working thermostats and a dysfunctional fireplace amongst other lesser quirks. The house has potential but needs a lot of work and I don’t understand these other glowing reviews, unfortunately.

Family ski weekend

We all had a great time! Place is nicer than the pictures show. Lots of room for everyone. Had so much fun with the hot tub, air hockey and fooseball. Kitchen has everything you need to cook and serve meals. Hope to come back next year. The walk to town is not too long and the rail trail, which is great for walking or cross country skiing, is super close. We brought our pup and she had a blast too! Spent time in Wiseguys and the Boathouse as both are dog-friendly. Also had a great meal and drinks at Lisa Gs which is right down the street.
