Sie haben das Beste aus beiden Welten mit diesem Sweet Retreat, eingebettet in einen friedlichen Bass Lake, mit einem Bootsanleger zum Green Lake gleich die Straße hinunter. Wir bieten auch einen Rabatt von 10% auf eine 7-Tage-Miete. Die Hütte befindet sich auf fast vier bewaldeten Hektar, 200 Fuß Ufergegend mit schönen Wildtieren. Dieses 2500 Quadratmeter große Haus verfügt über fünf Schlafzimmer und zwei Badezimmer. Es gibt einen offenen Grundriss, der aus einem geräumigen Wohnzimmer und einer voll ausgestatteten Küche mit Geschirrspüler besteht. Ein offenes Wohnzimmer mit Fenstern, die die gesamte Vorderseite des Hauses abdecken und einen spektakulären Blick auf den See bieten. Eine Terrasse, die groß genug für Ihre Unterhaltung ist, mit Tisch, Stühlen, Gasgrill und Liegestühlen zum Entspannen, während Sie die Geräusche des Springbrunnens im Teich genießen. Ein fünfzig-Fuß-Dock ist im Wasser und Kajaks stehen für Ihren Sommerspaß zur Verfügung. Bass Lake ist ein kleinerer See, der mit allen Sportarten gespeist wird. Sweet Retreat is Sweet!

Great house and location

The house was perfect for us - very clean and newly updated. The kitchen was well-stocked, and having multiple refrigerators was great for our large group. There were plenty of kayaks, floats, and the like for the lake, and it was also easy to take trips to Frankfort on Lake Michigan (about 30 minutes away), Sleeping Bear Dunes and Glen Arbor (45 minutes), and Traverse City (30 minutes to downtown Traverse City). We had a fantastic time seeing this part of the state!

Perfect family lake vacation

Having had other lake vacations in Minnesota and Wisconsin, this was the 1st one in Michigan. While we loved hiking at Sleeping Bears dunes and some great meals out, the real highlights were quality time as a family at this beautiful home including meals together, boating, fishing, s’mores around the campfire, family games, and much laughter and stories. Highly recommend to anyone who wants a great family vacation at the lake! Roger and Gail were so gracious in letting us use everything at the house during our stay.

We love Sweet Retreat

We love staying here. This is our 2nd year we spent a week. It is beautiful and fully stocked with all the you will need. The location is close to whatever activities you are looking for. Our boys caught fish off of the dock and learned how to kayak with the equipment that is provided. Great place for a family get together.

Even Better than expected

Sweet Retreat is a delight! The house is very nice and better than the pictures! We did have a slight issue with the upstairs shower, but that would not deter me from staying again. Location is very peaceful, away from the hustle, and bustle, but close to everything!

Such a Sweet Retreat!

This home and property was perfect for our family. The home was beautiful inside and out.

Our family loved this home. The owner was very easy to communicate with. Not only is the home beautiful, It is also the most well equipped rental I have ever stayed in. We cooked all meals at home and all the appliances and cooking utensils we needed were available. This one really felt like home away from home. Just lovely.

Gorgeous house and property with all the amenities!

This house and property doesn’t disappoint! More beautiful than the pictures are able to show, great property with ample room to spread out and enjoy the sun and lake. We are a family of 8 adults, and everybody was able to hang out in the living room together. Every convenience is thought of, we had everything at our fingertips. Enjoyed peaceful kayak rides on the lake and a boat parade for the 4th complete with fireworks across the lake. If only we could have ordered more sunny days and warmer temperatures to get some swimming in!

As promised - beautiful place, serene lake, ideally located!

From check in to check out, everything was perfection. Clean, chic country lake cottage that accommodated our entire family (6 adults with 3 grandchildren)! All amenities and then some, perfectly appointed and we'll organized, easy to find. I made ample use of the rowboat, and caught largemouth bass everytime I fished. The lake is small, but the kids loved frolicking in the water, as well as kayaking. The grill provided was easy to use, and we made great use (nightly!) of the plentiful firewood that was already split and stored in the garage. The host was very accomodating and quick to respond ti all of our inquiries. Couldn't have asked for a better vacation!
