This property is a great escape from the hustle and bustle of a busy town/city. The bunkhouse is an absolute gem for having large groups of people stay in 1 building, as long as you don't mind the occasional snoring. The layout of the bunkhouse makes it a great place to stay for us as a school, we roomed all of our male students and advisers in there. There was ample space for all of our activities and the large open kitchen made it simple to feed many hungry mouths! Each bed has a reading light and plugin for charging devices, and the 2 bathrooms make it easy for a large group to get ready in the morning. The beds are comfy and clean sheets each time we have stayed there. Having the ability to walk directly out back and have the run of a large mowed field was great for them to burn off energy! We also had access to a short trail along the canyon wall that provided a great overlook of the valley.
The only thing that some people would find as a down fall is cellphone reception, AT&T has 0 reception up in the valley, while Sprint and Verizon have spotty service. This was great for us since the kids were then devoted to spending time together bonding and practicing for their competitions.
There are also may outdoor recreational activities within close driving distance, such as the Boulder Caves Trail, which is definitely a must if you are driving over Chinook Pass.
I would and have stayed here on multiple occasions, and plan on staying again next year! The hosts are easygoing and great to work with.
