We stayed during MLK Weekend in 2019. This weekend featured a nice weather system that dumped about a foot of fresh powder in the area!
The house was well appointed and clean. The owner provided great communication throughout and was responsive and accommodating of our requests. We were a group of two families including 6 kids and four parents. There were two rooms with queen beds (for the parents) - these rooms also had bunk beds which we didn't use. Two kids stayed in the loft (which has two twin beds) and two kids in each of the remaining bedrooms, which each had two twin beds. We brought our own linens and towels. The kids brought sleeping bags.
The place is ideally located just off the road between the Lincoln Peak and Mount Ellen portions of the Sugarbush ski area. If heavy snow is expected, it's best to have snow tires or AWD, as there is a short, somewhat steep portion of the driveway that conspired against our friends' Honda van without snow tires. Luckily, the neighbor's plow guy was very friendly and happy to help get us unstuck! (Thanks, Levi!)
It was a short drive to the ski area. There is a bus-stop near the bottom of the driveway, but we didn't try it - instead opting to drive to the ski area. This was fine, although they are kind of slow to get vehicles to park there in the morning, resulting in traffic backups.
We were able to get some grocery items at the Paradise Provisions store near Lincoln Peak, which had a good selection and an excellent-looking deli. Otherwise, stock up on food before you arrive, as we didn't see any major grocery stores in the immediate vicinity.
Overall, a nice, clean, well appointed house with plenty of room for two families of 5. We enjoyed our stay!
