Absolutely amazing!

This year was by far the best family vacation we’ve ever had. Our 2 boys who are 6 and 2 thoroughly enjoyed everything this year about the beach and the pool. This was the nicest beach house we’ve ever stayed in and we will definitely be booking again for next year.

Another great stay!

My family (me, hubby, and pre-teen child) stayed at Bonnie Dunes for the second time this Spring break. The house was clean, comfy, and beautifully decorated. The kitchen has very nice appliances, and all the extras you need. We loved snacking and eating breakfast around the large island. The large covered porch was a favorite place to relax and read or drink coffee in the mornings, listening to the birds and waves. The large lot size and trees makes you feel very private even in the middle of a neighborhood. The neighborhood beach never felt too crowded, and when we got tired of sand, it was fabulous to have our own pool to relax and play in! We love this house, and hope to stay again next year!

Perfect

This property is fantastic. Our family of 5 plus one additional adult were more than comfortable. The more remote location kept us away from the large spring break crowds and allowed us to explore some of the most beautiful private beaches in the area. Jessie's restaurant is must! Be wary of the ferry to Dauphin Island when it breaks down or stops running for the day it is a FULL 2-hour drive back! Everything was perfect, the communication, the accommodations, the neighborhood, and the beach. Highly recommend!

Perfect.

This was the most perfect beach house. I have been to several, and this has been our absolute favorite. We are big cookers & we’re very pleased that we had everything needed at the house. Our favorite being a crockpot :) there is a grill provided, the house was emaculant. Very short walk to the beach with beautiful views from the house as well. Bonnie was amazing & was willing to help accommodate with anything we needed. The porch is amazing & we got to sit outside to enjoy coffee ☕️ I’ve already asked if I can rebook this house before I even checked out for another stay this year. It was cozy & comfortable. We loved that there was also a table as we are big card/dice players :)

Gulf Vacation

The house is beautiful and great location to beach. The pool was where we spent alot of time. We didn't realize copper heads live close to the beach and saw several near pool area and that side of yard so please be cautious if you have pets or small children. Great trip over all.

Beautiful beach cottage. Kitchen stocked well with dishes and cooking utensils. Make sure you rent a golf cart to get to beach access. The pool was another great place to relax at.

Beautiful Home but not near ocean

While this house is beautiful and our stay was nice there is an inaccuracy with the listing and the beach access for this home. The private drive shown in these pictures is not for public use - it’s actually a home owners behind the houses private drive. While we stayed there they were laying concrete and was impossible to access. Unfortunately we had to unexpectedly book a golf cart for the week because our family has two toddlers under three and two grandparents in their late 60s that couldn’t comfortably walk to the beach access daily. The beach access is not close. There’s also been a lot of construction since those pictures were made and the view of the ocean is limited to a small section of the corner back patio.

We had a wonderful time at the house and the beach. Nice quiet location that we were looking for. House was perfect. The listing needs updated as the view from the deck is not anything like the picture shows as you cannot see the Gulf of Mexico due to all the builds since the picture. Also getting to the beach is not as easy as following the walkway behind the house. The is a road that leads to private property and we were reminded fed daily we were not allowed to walk through the property to the beach. Going to the access location. Is too far of a walk and leads to crowds.

The property was clean, spacious, and decorated very tastefully. The pool may not be large, but it’s big enough for the kids to play, and the adults to be able to relax. The sand in driveway was a nice place for the kids to play. The owners and manager were extremely attentive and quick to respond to any questions from prior to booking through the stay. Great place

Loved Bonnie Dunes

We absolutely loved Bonnie Dunes! It was so peaceful and quiet. The house is equipped with everything you could think of. They have a few games, our family ended up playing a game of scrabble on a rainy day and it was a great time. They also had beach chairs, beach toys, a canopy/umbrella, and pool toys. Communication with the property manager was great and check in was a breeze. We will definitely be staying here again!

The house was better than the pictures. My grandson had great time being in the pool from sun up to sun down. We made lots of great memories. My only suggestion is to have a book with restaurant recommendation, how to work the satellite and get a new barbecue.

Surfside Shores Gem

We have been coming to Surfside Shores for six years and have stayed at numerous properties, this is our new favorite. Super clean, well decorated, and close enough to the ocean. The owners were awesome and very accommodating. We will definitely be returning.

I kinda wanna keep this one a secret

This rental is the whole package, kitchen is well equipped, bedrooms are comfortable. Pool was nice and it was so close to the beach, but the best part is the communication we got from the rental team. Any question or concern I had, they communicated immediately and then resolved whatever issue or question I had. Our family will definitely rent here again!

The house was very nice. We really enjoyed our stay. We did bring our dog and the porch is very pet friendly with a gate. We isn’t really get to use the pool since it was cooler when we were there but it looks very nice and clean.

This property is owned by Patrick and Bonnie Murphy of Cincinnat Ohio.
We have 4 wonderful children and Jax our Bullador. We actually adopted him from right here in Fort Morgan in July 2015 from a wonderful couple that worked at our very own Sassy Bass! He loves the beach as much as we do!

Patrick and I bought this house back in October of 2000 so we could come to BAMA and watch my baby sister play Division 1 Soccer for USA in Mobile. The first four years we limited our guests to family and close friends due to the amount of time we spent at the house and beach each year. As the kids have all gotten older our trips to our little piece of heaven on earth are not as often as we like so we decided to share our home with others so they too could make the same kind of lasting memories that we have been making with our family and friends for so many years!
