Fantastische Terrasse für den Genuss der Aussicht und alles, was Sie brauchen, um den Strand für Ihre Nutzung zu genießen - Stühle, Handtücher, Sandspielzeug, Wasserspielzeug. Eine Dusche im Freien, um den Sand des Tages zu waschen und ein eingezäunter Garten für mehr Privatsphäre. Unsere voll ausgestattete Küche und der Gasgrill ermöglichen es Ihnen, Ihre eigenen Mahlzeiten zuzubereiten. Der perfekte Abschluss eines Tages, den Sie in den Wellen verbracht haben, ist das Schwimmen am Strand oder das Entspannen in der Sauna. Seeblick aus der Küche, Esszimmer, Wohnzimmer, Master, 4-Jahreszeiten-Zimmer und Dachboden. Das Hotel liegt direkt zwischen Tawas und Oscoda und bietet Zugang zu allen Arten von Sommerspaß mit Festivals, Filmen / Musik im Park, niedlichen Geschäften, tollen Restaurants, Leuchttürmen, Putten und renommierten Golfplätzen. Gelegen in der Nähe des AuSable River mit Möglichkeiten zum Kajakfahren, Kanufahren und Schläuchen. Es gibt auch eine herrliche Aussicht auf die Herbstfarben mit staatlichen Land auf der anderen Straßenseite. Lange Auffahrt mit viel Parkplatz und einem Basketballkorb zum Spaß. Radwege, Wanderwege, Sonne und Sand machen Barefoot Bungalow zum perfekten Ziel, um Pure Michigan zu genießen. Erleben Sie die Sunrise Seite vom Feinsten! Der "Barefoot Bungalow" war zuvor als "Little Fishy" aufgeführt und wir freuen uns auf wiederkehrende Gäste.

Wir hatten mehrere Fragen zum Zustand des Strandes in der Saison 2019. Trotz der Rekordhöhe des Sees hat Barefoot Bungalow immer noch einen Sandstrand mit einer Tiefe von ungefähr 20 Fuß. Ein Foto vom August 2019 aufgenommenen Wasser wurde hinzugefügt, um die Bedingungen in diesem Jahr zu zeigen. Der See und der Strand verändern sich für immer, aber selbst wenn das Wasser auf dem höchsten Stand ist, gibt es hier immer noch genügend Strand zum Genießen!

Beautiful Beach Location

Beautiful beach location with easy walk out to the shore. Privacy from neighbors when enjoying time on the large deck. The property is set back between the lake and a wetland, not on busy US-23 like many properties along the lakeshore in that area.

Perfect stay. Beautiful beach property

We had 8 guys stay for a golf weekend, each with their own bed, and this place was absolutely amazing. Sweet fire pit and chairs setup out by the beach. Kitchen was well stocked. Coffee bar setup was a nice touch.

Amazing property

This is our 5th year in a row staying here and it never disappoints. We had a great time as usual! The renovations to the master bath were really nice. One thing we love about this property is that the owners continue to make upgrades over the years and you can tell they really care about providing a quality experience. The beach is absolutely fantastic. It cannot be beat.

Lovely, sandy Lake Huron beach

Great house for our family's summer vacation! We have stayed at many MI beach houses over the years and this Lake Huron beach was particularly amazing! It's a huge beach area that is sandy, and the lake was shallow for quite a long stretch. There's a nice wooden swing at the beach area and campfire ring. The back porch is large with very nice furniture. In addition, the house was well-equipped with everything we needed and big enough for our group of 8.

Wonderful week at Barefoot Bungalow

The house is very nice. The location on a sandy beach on Lake Huron is perfect. Our grandchildren loved playing in the water on the sandbars. The home is the perfect size for our group of 11 family members.

Fabulous Friends Getaway!

The house was wonderful. The beach was beautiful. The setting was peaceful. The owner was quick to respond to any questions we had. It was everything our group of 8 retired ladies could have asked for. Will be back again next year!

The perfect beach vacation

It was so nice to walk out the back door and be feet from the most amazing sand beach. The host provides lots of beach chairs, and toys for the kids, as well as floatation vests and kickboards. The fire pit is nice, though, for us, it was quite windy. Even during inclement weather, the view from the house is amazing. The cottage was an easy drive to East Tawas, and we were lucky enough to be there for the annual Craft Fair at the downtown park.

4 Years and Still Fabulous

Stayed in July-Aug of 2023. We have been renting this property every year for the last 4 years and we also booked our 5th year for next summer. We have found that the owners are super easy to work with and are very attentive to all needs. They have continually made improvements to the house through the years and while it was beautiful from the get go, the improvements are also so appreciated. The beach here cannot be beat. We can't get enough of it. And we love Tawas and Oscosa. Tawas especially is the cutest town and our kids never stop talking about going to Benjamin Franklin for souvenirs and toys. Love it here, thanks again!

Perfect for family vacation!

Our family of 6 adults, a young child, and 2 babies were extremely happy and comfortable in this spacious, well appointed home. Cleanliness was excellent, and the homeowner has provided a well equipped kitchen. We loved the Lake Huron views, especially at dawn. Many happy hours were spent on the clean, private sandy beach, and it’s shallow for a long way out, so perfect for kids. The photos are accurate ! Not an exaggeration! It’s a perfect place for a family vacation 😊

Bravo Barefoot Bungalow

This was our second stay at Barefoot Bungalow. It was everything we enjoyed last year and more. It was thoughtful of Jayme to special order warmer weather this year! The complementary bottle of wine is such a nice touch. The home is spacious yet cozy, with a great kitchen our Ramsey-level chef was able to work in with ease. The mattress upgrades from queen to king in the master and from double to a queen in one of the bedrooms added to everyone's comfort. We all enjoyed ourselves immensely and hope to make Barefoot Bungalow THE place for our merry band of birders to gather every May.

Perfect Girls Getaway

It’s all good here!

Clean comfortable accommodations on a beautiful sandy beach! 10 adults and 3 littles under 4 had plenty of room for dining, sleeping, and playing. LOTS of water and sand toys as well as storybooks, blocks and crayons for rainy times. It was a perfect place for our family vacation!

Perfect Beach House for the Family !

Everything about this property is delightful! The owner has thought of every detail to make her guests’ vacations more pleasant, from the extremely well equipped kitchen to beach towels and toys. The house is completely clean and is very spacious, nicely furnished, and well designed for family vacations. There are 3 separate living room areas, so everyone can spread out or be together. The bedrooms are varied, so there is a good spot for everyone. The photos are accurate and show this clearly. The beach is sandy and the water is shallow for quite a distance. Safe for children. Views are stunning, especially at sunrise! There are neighbors on both sides, but it’s a quiet, peaceful neighborhood, and we felt that we had plenty of privacy. Although there is no AC, the house has plenty of windows and ceiling fans, and the lake breeze is steady, so we were comfortable. The house is very well maintained, so there is no trace of mold or mildew. I mention this because I am sensitive to mildew and it’s a deal-breaker for me, so I always check reviews very carefully. Special treat: a wonderful sauna ! We had a fabulous family vacation here and made so many happy memories at the beach, having meals on the deck, watching movies, having s’mores campfires, and enjoying our time together in comfort. Many thanks to the wonderful owner whose care for her guests is so obvious !
