Das Big Kahuna wird ein großartiges Familienziel für Ihren Sommerurlaub sein. Es gibt viel Platz für eine große Familie oder mehrere Familien. Der Blick auf das Meer ist völlig frei und Sie können auf der überdachten Veranda sitzen, auf der Sonnenterrasse am Meer entspannen oder ein paar Schritte gehen und auf dem Sand sein. Mit sechs Schlafzimmern und fünf Bädern bietet dieses geräumige Haus Platz für 18 Personen. Der Wohnbereich bietet zahlreiche Sitzgelegenheiten und einen 65-Zoll-TV. Der Essbereich bietet Platz für 8 Personen und es gibt auch 4 Barhocker. Die neu gestaltete Küche verfügt über Edelstahl-Geräte und schöne Quarz-Arbeitsplatten mit einer Fliese Backsplash. Die Küche ist komplett mit allem ausgestattet, was Sie brauchen, um Mahlzeiten für Ihre Familie zu kochen.

Eine sehr große Master-Suite verfügt über ein Kingsize-Bett und eine zusätzliche private Sitzecke, wo Sie entspannen, lesen und den Ozean betrachten können. Darüber hinaus sind zwei weitere Schlafzimmer im Obergeschoss direkt am Meer mit einer schönen Aussicht. Ein Schlafzimmer hat ein Kingsize-Bett und das andere eine Königin.

Im Erdgeschoss ist ebenso geräumig und umfasst 1 Schlafzimmer mit 2 Queensize-Betten, ein Schlafzimmer mit 2 Betten und ein Spielzimmer / Schlafzimmer mit einem Full-Size-Futon, Twin Daybed mit einem Doppel-Trundle.

Viele Bücher, Spiele und Filme stehen zu Ihrer Verfügung. Jedes Badezimmer verfügt über eine Dusche und 4 der Bäder haben auch eine Badewanne. Es gibt keine Wartezeit auf eine Dusche nach dem Spielen am Strand.

Eine Doppelgarage verfügt über eine zusätzliche Waschmaschine / Trockner und genügend Platz, um 2 Autos zu parken, wenn Sie möchten. Es gibt auch eine Tischtennisplatte in der Garage. Eine Außendusche ist ebenfalls verfügbar, um den Sand abzuwaschen.

On the Beach at the beach

Enjoying morning coffee listening to the surf, plenty of room for mixing with our 18 family members and when a break was needed the master suite was a comfortable sanctuary. Great location, house and vacation for all. Thanks for your hospitality.

Annual Family Beach Trip

I'd give the property and the property manager 6 stars! House was roomy and comfortable. Access to garage, ice machine, coolers, beach chairs, and second set of washer/dryer was great. Best stocked kitchen we've experienced during a vacation stay. Back porch and deck was amazing. Nicest property I've stayed at to-date. Communication with property manager was fabulous.....best yet. Hope we have the opportunity to visit again!

Summer escape

Big Kahuna was a very nice property, we had plenty of space for our whole family. Elevator was perfect for our older family members. The kitchen was well stocked, which was a plus because we cooked in most nights. Property supplied beach chairs, coolers and beach toys. Loved the covered porch. Easy to contact owners for any questions. Close to the stores and plenty of restaurants were nearby. Hope to come back next year.

Wonderful Beach Week

We had a great week at the Big Kahuna! The cottage was so spacious, well decorated, and well cleaned. The extra amenities, such as the elevator and industrial ice maker, really spoiled us. The host was great to work with. We will definitely be renting again in the future.

Family Week

We felt like this house was perfect for our family - 5 adults and 5 kids under 5. Look forward to renting again in the future. The deck and access to the beach are definite highlights with a great outdoor shower and multiple hoses to spray off when coming up from the beach. GIANT ice maker in the garage would be great if you enjoy fishing, or perfect for keeping things cold on the beach. Kitchen was well stocked and there were plenty of games for adults and things for kids in the house which were an unexpected bonus. Communication with the owner was great leading us to check in and throughout our stay.

Great family memories

Our family had a wonderful week at Pine Knoll Shores! The Big Kahuna was perfect for our large family and everyone had space to spread out and relax. The covered porch was the big hang out area and we were just steps away from the ocean!! Bruce and Terry were amazing hosts and were always available if you needed anything. We enjoyed ping pong in the well equipped garage area and a family talent show in the spacious living area. The ice machine was a real bonus!! What a fun week! We will be back next year!! Elliott

Great vacation

This was an overall great vacation. The place is gorgeous, the ocean was warm and turquoise colored. The host, Bruce, is a fantastic host, generous and answers fast. The house is perfect, with 3 masters on the main floor for the 3 couples. The kids stayed in the basement and everyone had their bed and was happy! Full of toys for the kids and adults to play, we couldn't have asked for more. Thank you Bruce, we will certainly come back next year!

Wonderful property

The house was everything+ as described. Communication with Owner was excellent and much appreciated. Everyone had fun. The bonus of a full moon over the ocean and the sea turtle migration to the ocean almost in front of the house was a special bonus. This was a wonderful vacation at a great house.

A True Gem!

The Big Kahuna was a wonderful and relaxing retreat for the entire family! Not only is the home situated in a safe/private area, it has the most spectacular beachfront views and inviting space for friends and family to relax and connect. Exceeds all expectations

An amazing property and owner. Absolutely no complaints. We were celebrating my husbands birthday and this property made the week very special. So well stocked. So comfortable (beds and furniture). Very spacious and many details that just make it so nice like drawers of hidden toys and a fully equipped bar and kitchen. There were even cake pans for the birthday cake. A+ experience

BEST VACATION EVER!!!

This house was perfect for our multi family of 13 (8 adults, 3 teenagers and 2 kids). Not only was this house beautiful and perfectly located right on the beach, but some of the elderly family members said they felt like they were on a cruise ship with the views from their balcony!! The outdoor shower was perfect for rinsing off the sand!! Bruce was a wonderful host and was always responsive to anything we needed!! Everyone had such a great time and we look forward to returning in the near future!!

Peace at Pine Knolls

For the third year in a row, our family and friends gathered at the Big Kahuna for some fun, relaxation, and family time. The weather was beautiful, the beach was spectacular, and a good time was had! The house is always clean and ready when we arrive. We enjoy being able to spread out to watch TV, read, or nap but we also have room to gather for meals and games. Until next year....

The Best Host and a Great House

Our entire family agrees this was a fabulous house. Bruce was a wonderful host. He contacted us immediately upon booking to introduce himself. He reached out again a month out and while we were there. He took quite a bit of time to help us with restaurant selections. We really appreciate all the help. The house was beautiful. It was extremely spacious, clean and very well stocked. So often things are overpromised and under delivered. Our joke was this was the opposite. We found many more amenities than was listed. Thank you Bruce for making our family vacation a truly wonderful experience.

Our 50th Anniversary Family Celebration

The Big Kahuna was all we expected it to be and more. The house is so spacious and the kitchen well stocked. Linens and towels were provided. The house was very clean. The elevator was a plus, which made unloading our vehicles very easy. Bruce and Terri have been a dream to work with. They were always willing to answer any questions we had prior to and during our stay. The beach was just steps away so we could go there anytime. Our grandchildren absolutely loved the location and didn't want to leave. We had 11 adults and children in the house and there was plenty of room for everyone. I would not hesitate to book this house again in the future and would highly recommend this rental for anyone. We will remember this vacation celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary forever. Thanks for the memories.

Bruce is originally from Hawaii and Terry is from North Carolina. We now reside in Eastern North Carolina and enjoy the Big Kahuna! We have 5 sons and 3 grandchildren and have furnished and stocked our beach home to include all the comforts of home for you and your family!
