Urlaub im Paradies. Wenn Sie die Natur lieben, ist dies der richtige Ort für Sie. Die Unterkunft befindet sich am Fuße des karibischen Regenwaldes (El Yunque). Diese schöne Penthouse-Einheit verfügt über 3 geräumige Schlafzimmer. Unsere dritte Etage Einheit verfügt über einen Balkon mit einer Terrasse über, die einen herrlichen Blick auf die Karibik hat. Der Komplex befindet sich direkt am Strand, verfügt über einen Außenpool, einen Tennisplatz, einen Basketballplatz, einen Spielplatz und einen 24-Stunden-Sicherheitsdienst. Es befindet sich in einem malerischen Fischerdorf von Playa Hucares in der Stadt Naguabo und verfügt über lokale Restaurants, die frische Meeresfrüchte und regionale Küche servieren. Es fühlt sich an wie ein Paradies mit den Annehmlichkeiten von zu Hause. Gehen Sie Angeln, Golfen, Schwimmen, Kajakfahren, Reiten, Wandern oder nehmen Sie eine Fähre von Fajardo (10-15 Minuten Fahrt) zu einer der beiden Inseln (Vieques, Culebra) und verbringen Sie den Tag mit Schnorcheln, Tauchen oder Sonnenbaden. Besuchen Sie das nahe gelegene Casino oder kaufen Sie in den nahe gelegenen Einkaufszentren ein oder schauen Sie sich einfach einen Film an. Vergessen Sie nicht, den Tag mit Sightseeing oder Shopping in San Juan zu verbringen.

Wenn Sie Naturpfade mögen, verbringen Sie den Tag mit Wandern im Regenwald (El Yunque). Sie werden Wasserfälle mit Schwimmlöchern vorfinden, um sich zu erfrischen.
Ein paar Minuten südlich gibt es ein Naturschutzgebiet für Biotouren, in dem Sie in Brackbächen, die zum Meer führen, Kajak fahren können. Good restuarants, nice beaches within 20 min

My wife commented that the master bedroom bed was the most comfortable she had ever slept in. Nice new kitchen setup, nice complex with good pool. Had to deal with road noise, most people used ear plugs. The restuarants right down the street were great, reasonably priced, generous portions, awesome.

Small town setting

Loved the security of this gated home, we were less than a mile from lots of restaurants and bars, definitely try Kalizo Puerto Rico cuisine. Pool and private beach were definitely a perk. Would stay again for sure.

Wonderful Time in Hucares

We had a great time staying at Cala de Hucares. Walk on the beach, swim in the pool, or choose from the twenty or so bars and restaurants that line the ocean, minutes away.

Very nice

Great area, beautiful quiet beach, good pool, great tennis or pickleball court, right next to 20 restaurants all reasonable priced, supermarket and town very close, and a good public beachs 25 m away. Its not a big touristy town. Street is a little loud but its Puerto Rico they don't have noise ordinances and appliances and cookware were a little worn besides that I'd come back..

The property is located in a cute little town with access to restaurants and ocean views within a 1 min drive. It included all amenities, plus extra. Other than the condo being a little old, it met and exceeded all of our needs for the price.

Perfect family vacation

We really enjoyed our stay. Place had everything we needed. The hosts were wonderful answering all our questions and were spot on for recommendations of where to eat! We would def stay there again!!! Our only issue was the pool, you can only reserve for an hour a day. If nobody reserved, then you can stay longer. When there was an issue, we went to the beautiful private beach on the property.

Kasa de Kay offered a distinctive experience, providing all the amenities necessary for a comfortable stay. Located on the beachfront of Naguabo, Puerto Rico, it features a pool, tennis court, basketball hoop, and more. Its strategic proximity to El Malecon, El Yunque, and the beautiful east coast beaches of PR makes it an optimal choice. The owner was warm and knowledgeable, offering suggestions for my enjoyable first experience in Puerto Rico. This was a great landing spot for our family. We loved having access to a small quiet beach and pool. And the location served us well for adventures to nearby beaches, el yunque, great local restaurants with fresh fish, vieques ferry, etc. the condo was well equipped and we appreciated having a balcony, an equipped kitchen, a w/d, and plenty of sleeping space for our family! Also so great to have beach chairs and towels.

Great Place

The property is well kept and spacious. At first we thought the configuration of the A/C units and fans was a little off, but after seeing how A/C is generally done across the island, we realized that it is up to par. I don't mean this as a bad thing; but just as a note to folks coming from the mainland that "island style" is a thing and you need to be open minded. The bedrooms were cold enough to be comfortable, but if the doors were all kept cold, the rest of the apartment could get a bit warm. Again, not uncomfortable, just different if you are expecting central air. The third floor location wasn't a problem, and the addition of the roof access was awesome. A great place to relax after a day of exploring or to watch the weather roll in over the ocean. The only downside to the location was the proximity to the road; traffic starts early and some of the trucks were pretty loud. If you are an early-riser or heavy sleeper, you won't mind much at all. As for the owners, Glenn and Dahlia were great. They reached out to us several times before our trip and had lots of excellent suggestions on activities, restaurants, and points of interest around the apartment. They were also extremely helpful in allowing us to extend our rental due to an unforeseen illness. I highly recommend renting from them.

Wonderful Time

Pros and Cons.... PLEASE READ!

We stayed here in cala de hucares on may 2021. Pros: -check in very easy - property maganer always a quick call or text away -Pool always clean and available -A/C rooms awesome always work very well -Yes is fully furnished no need to get anything just your groceries to cook if that's what you plan on doing. - it also has grills and things for the beach and pool wich is nice. Cons: -Apartment was dusty when we check in, like if not been clean for weeks. -left over stuff of pantry food in the small pantry, but they looked like they where outdated and never been threwn out. -I know P.R. is hot, but the livingroom, kitchen and dining area are an inferno of heat after 12 and on, there is no A/C in that area of the apartment. - We expirienced a power outage after our 1st week there and the manager was not able to find us a place to spend the night with 5 childrens, thank the Lord we had family and they help us stay with them for that night. Plus after we pass by the property that same night the security guard told us that is nothing new on Cala de hucares apartments that always happens once a month, so that for me is no good, for that reason we not going back. After all, the area is not bad, yes it's loud is not a quiet street so if you want something quite this is not for you, at night is loud and in the mornings the neighbors across street are always talking loud. Hopefuly all this helps you on your desition.

Overall ok

Apart from the stained sheets, no toilet paper, lightbulbs burned out, ants everywhere, and un clean faucets and bathrooms, our stay was OK. But Puerto Rico is amazing! It would be nice if there was a property management person on site to talk to and not in the states.

The views from the terrace are beautiful. The unit is on the 3rd floor with no elevator. The beach and pool are a short distance walk from the unit. The area is gated and we felt very safe. The residents like to play music very loud in the cars which can be heard at night but it’s not very often.

Heaven on earth

Felt at home. Unit has ample space. The views were amazing to the ocean right from patio. The pool was wonderful Since I traveled with my girls being a single mom in the gated community definitely made me sleep great st night The town down the road was so much fun. Great owners - older condo that is roomy but the condo is more roadside than beachfront

I give it a 3 because the owner, Glenn was so kind and spend a lot of time on the phone providing details of activities to do in PR (e.g., El Yunque rainforest, Luquilla Beach, Camuy Cavernas) to make our stay enjoyable. The condo is older, but we had plenty of space, clean on arrival, walkable to the local town, and had all the towels (bath and beach)/beach equipment we needed. We were expecting a family vacation in Puerto Rico away from the city noise. However, the condo is located right on a major road (and next to the security entrance - which is where some cars turn around) - which meant traffic noise and even louder music from the cars that kept us up throughout the night every night! I am a very heavy sleeper, but woke up every hour on the hour nearly every night. Although we did not get a lot of sleep, this served as a nice home base for all of our adventures in beautiful Puerto Rico!
