Tighnabruaich Cottage liegt am malerischen Panmure Island am östlichen Ufer des Prince Edward Island. Mit seinem Privatstrand, umgeben von Bäumen, bietet das ruhig gelegene Ferienhaus eine perfekte Gelegenheit für einen ruhigen Sommerurlaub.

Das gut ausgestattete Ferienhaus verfügt über eine Open-Konzept-Design und verfügt über drei Schlafzimmer und zwei Badezimmer (mit einem Loft-Schlafzimmer mit eigenem Bad). Es hat neue Möbel und alle modernen Annehmlichkeiten von zu Hause mit Geschirrspüler, Waschmaschine / Trockner, TV / VCR / DVD und Gas-Kamin. Tighnabruaich bietet auch die zusätzlichen Features der Hütte Leben, darunter eine Veranda zum Entspannen gescreent, einen Privatstrand ideal für lange Spaziergänge und abends Lagerfeuer. Es gibt sogar eine Dusche im Freien zum Abspülen nach dem Schwimmen.

Tighnabruaich Cottage liegt am südlichen Ufer des wunderschön abgelegenen Panmure Island. Panmure Insel mit einer weitläufigen, weißen Sandstrand, der sehr beliebt bei Einheimischen, aber ohne die Touristenmassen ist. Die Hütte ist eine kurze Autofahrt entfernt, einige der Prince Edward Island renommiertesten Golfplätze, darunter The Links at Crowbush Cove, Dundarave und Brudenelle River Resort. Sie werden auch hervorragende Hummer Abendessen und Weltklasse-Restaurants in der Nähe.

Super Platz

Wir waren zwei Wochen in diesem Haus. Wer sich erholen möchte, kann hier nichts falsch machen. Absolut gepflegt und sauber. Vermieter und Hausmeister stehen jederzeit mit Rat und Hilfe zur Verfügung. Am Haus befindet sich ein eigener Strand. Wer gut Essen möchte fährt nach Georgetown und dort ins "Gerorgetown Inn" oder ins "Clammdiggers Beach House". Ansonsten bietet die Küche im Haus alles um selber zu Kochen. Fisch und Lobster bekommt man in jedem Supermarkt frisch. Innerhalb von 1,5 Stunden können viele Strände angefahren werden. Z.B. Greenwich, Cavendish u.s.w. Bestens.

A little piece of paradise

A beautiful location. Very private, great beach area for walking and swimming and gathering shells. The cottage was perfect. The view from the loft bedroom out over the ocean was stunning and the cottage was equipped with everything you could need. This was our second stay here and we cannot wait to return again.

Great space on the beach!

Clean, open space with a great view. Well decorated and felt comfortable. Easy access to the beach. Did not have a hot tub as indicated. Would have liked to check out a little later. Overall it was excellent! Highly recommended!

Best Property Ever!

Two weeks in mid October, extra quiet island, no bugs and crisp air contributed to the perfect vacation. This house was the best! The open floor plan with two bedrooms and full bath downstairs and master suite with full bath in the loft helped to make the house feel cozy and spacious at the same time. The location on the water and surrounding grounds with beautiful green grass, front deck and fire pit area were the perfect additions. The area is remote with neighbors on one side which we hardly saw, and the screen porch on the non neighbor side afforded complete privacy. We were looking to return to this area after 20+years and this property was so much more than we expected. I could live here forever......waking early in the morning to watch the sunrise and enjoying wine each evening near the fire-pit to watch the sunset was just magical!! Sorry about the full recycling bin of empty wine bottles!! Doug the owner was so responsive and kind despite trying to book this cottage two years in a row and being disappointed and having to cancel due to pandemic issues. The house is so beautifully and comfortably decorated that you feel right at home, but the little touches of pottery, pillows, and accessories make you feel like you're in an art gallery. We purposely chose to be surrounded by nature for our two week trip so Randy could draw and paint outside and though the remote location, the house is an hour's drive into Charlottetown. 20-30 minutes away is Montague which has two breweries, music, two grocery stores, liquor store, Dollar General and McDonalds, Wendys, and Tim Hortons. Despite being on the island just two weeks after Hurricane Fiona and seeing so many downed trees, it was still our best vacation ever. Thank you Doug and Maggie for sharing your beautiful house with us, and thank you Margaret (property manager) for answering all our questions. We are still smiling!! Anne and Randy

A fabulous place to stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on Panmure Island. The cottage is exactly as described and fully equipped for all your needs. The location is totally private and with a short 25 km trip into Montague you can get staples and most needs. We thoroughly enjoyed the seafood…lobster, muscles, clams and fish. The BBQ on site gave you the option for a little turf in your diet. Thanks for the opportunity to stay there…highly recommended. Robert Shearer

Modern & well-equipped - perfect getaway!

This cottage is so well designed! Lots of outdoor seating makes it a great spot to entertain friends - and situated close to one of the best beaches on the island, even your friends from the west end may make the trip down! Appreciated having great wifi (local friends were super impressed!) since we had to work remotely a couple days while there. Lots of movies and puzzles if you spend a day inside. Host was very responsive. We would book here again and recommend it to our friends.

Beautiful cottage

This beautiful cottage had everything we could possibly need for our entire stay. It was very clean and comfortable with great seating areas outdoors. We enjoyed the fire pit and close proximity to the beach. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our week.

Panmure Cottage

Excellent experience, beautiful property, clean and all the amenities we needed to allow our family to cook and grill. We loved the private beach at the cottage, the kids swam, we brought our kayaks and sail board which were well used! We dug clams and also enjoyed time just down the road at the Provincial beach. It’s a great place for a family vacation and we were thankful to have this time together in an amazing place.

Little paradise

We loved this place. It is a little hidden paradise. The location is more remote then we expected. The house is at the end of a road and there are no real neighbours. Therefore you have the beach all for yourself. The beach itself is beautiful, low water which is great for small kids, with lots of small fishes, mussels, snails, we spent hours exploring it and of course making camp fires on the beach. The house is built and decorated with lots of love. It is very convenient, spacious and light. Everything you need is there and is all high quality: great beds, very nice showers, etc. Our son loved the little playground with the slide and the box with beach toys. There was not time to be bored. A place we would love to come back to once. Thanks for the great time!

Wonder, Relaxing, Inviting

We loved everything about our stay at Tighnabruaich Cottage on Panmure Island, PEI June 7-10. We happened to be the first ones after a major refresh. House was immaculate and had everything needed for a perfect retreat Views were spectacular and the smaller Panmure Island was a great secluded location, yet close to many sight-seeing activities around the Island. We highly recommend this cottage and would gladly stay there again.

Lovely Beach Cottage

This cottage was lovely, clean, and equipped with absolutely EVERYTHING - even a bottle of delicious PEI blueberry wine to welcome us. It also worked out well for my 85 year old mother who can't climb stairs, so if anyone needs accessible accomodations, this is the cottage I would recommend. The island is gorgeous and I'd like to come back and spend more time. The only thing I'd do differently is come at a different time of year. The mosquitos were horrible! They absolutely swarmed us anytime we stuck our noses out. We were told that started about a week before we arrived. We all came home with itchy reminders of our trip :( That's the only reason I'm rating this as 4 stars instead of 5. I think that sprayng around the cottage (especially the walkway) would definitely have helped.

Wonderful Family Vacation

We just got back from a wonderful week at Tighnabruaich Cottage on Panmure Island. This cottage was beautiful. The location is great, they have everything you need. The cottage is very tastefully decorated, with a modern cottage feel. It is very clean and very well maintained. We were traveling with three children; 5, 9 and 16. Everyone had a great time. Panmure Island is located on the east coast of PEI. Very peaceful, friendly, and secluded from the touristy sections. We made great big seafood diners almost every night. I am a director of a travel company and have to say, this is one of the best family holidays we have had. I would recommend this particular cottage to anyone. There is absolutely nothing negative about this spot.

An amazing hideaway

Tighnabruaich Cottage is a lovely home away from home on the shores of Panmure Island, PEI. The location, on the east coast of PEI is fabulous! Not touristy and very friendly. The home is as stated-beautifully appointed and very well maintained. We enjoyed purusing the comprehensive video and book library while sitting in front of the fire. Walks along the two beaches were fabulous. You can walk for miles on the red sand beaches which are full of various marine life (shells, plant life etc). Bicyling and running in the area was great as the roads are quiet and the drivers very courteous. The cottage is a gem, and we would most certainly recommend it as a vacation destination.

Quiet Beauty

We had a lovely, late-season, week at this cottage. The location is amazing and the cottage is immaculate and well-appointed. We found everything we needed - a lobster pot, binoculars, coffee grinder, great movies, a comfortable bed and amazing views. We walked along the beach (which is just beyond the front porch), curled up and read by the fire, relaxed on the porch and watched the tides, and cooked fresh seafood in the kitchen. We felt comfortable and pampered. The area is fairly remote, which suited us just fine, but others should know they need to drive a bit to reach gas, food, etc.
