Three generations

Property was perfect to host 3 generations. Granddaughters in the loft with their OWN bathroom, I was in second bedroom and my daughter and husband in main suite. View from their bedroom looked like a photo, it was so beautiful. We will be back!

Great location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was very nice. Clean and had everything you will need on vacation (minus shampoo and conditioner). It is nicely updated except the carpet on stairs. Location was great. Food trucks and other restaurants close by. A short walk to sand beach but can use lawn chairs next to the ocean on the property. We had a slight hang up with the code to the door upon arrival which was quickly fixed by the rental company. My only other hang up is that it’s advertised as “pent house” when in reality it is a very nice 4th floor condo. While there are ocean views from the living room and master bath, the lanai is only off the living room. The third bedroom is actually a loft with bath—very nice but not private and can be noisy if other family is up before whomever sleeps there. I was expecting a third bedroom with door and the pull out couch to be in loft area. That was my mistake however as I apparently misread the description. Enjoyed our stay but would probably find a condo with an actual third bedroom with door and more lanai area to enjoy the beauty.

Incredible place to enjoy paradise

This unit was absolutely incredible and exceeded our expectations. It had everything we needed and was so comfortable. We watched turtles every day right below the balcony and we even saw a 4 ft shark! We will definitely book again soon!

Amazing view and condo

The pictures are accurate. The condo is fully stocked, and rooms comfortable. The view is worth it all. Papakea checkin is effortless and the pools and ocean give bountiful opportunities to swim.

This was the perfect place for a family vacation with young kids. If you turn right just past the food trucks there’s a beautiful boardwalk along the beach.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo itself is quite beautiful and has all the amenities one could need. Having three bedrooms (1 actually a loft) and three bathrooms was wonderful. However, the furniture was very uncomfortable. The tables and chairs on the lanai were very hard and too tall to sit on comfortably. Because of their height, they would also be very dangerous for children to sit in since the kids would be sitting above the height of the railing. The dining chairs were also quite hard and some were wobbly. The couch was ok but the material was scratchy. The beds in the main bedroom and back bedroom were very hard. The bed in the loft was a bit better. I would stay at this resort again but not in this condo.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The picture of the patio actually needs updating. They have a great high table out there now with at least 4 chairs. It is unbelievable how close you are to the ocean. It was blissful sitting out there. Several times, I could see a sea turtle swimming out in front due to the ocean proximity.The beds were quite comfortable. Even with the door and windows closed, you could hear the ocean in the main living area and the primary bedroom.The condo was incredibly clean, was very well stocked with items such as spices that would be expensive to purchase for the amount needed. Also, the kitchen was well stocked for anything one would need. They had things I wish I had in my kitchen. I was also impressed with child sippy cups and plates. They thought of everything. They had beach chairs, boogie boards and noodles which really came in handy. It is not what one would think of when you hear the term "central air", but it functioned well and I was very grateful for it.The management company was great and Papakea Resort is nice and very well maintained. I would absolutely stay here again!

Well planned condo w/ a million dollar view

What I love most about this condo is the view. What I love second-most is the intelligent move by the owners to add a 3rd bedroom in the loft area. So three bedroom areas with 3 baths fit perfect for our family vacation. Only issue I would address is in the summer months it is HOT in these condos and although it has AC throughout, these were not turned on when we arrived and it took a full day for the three sleeping areas to cool down. This meant the first night was a rough one. One more positive: Papakea itself is a gem. Not a high rise. Less crowded but with great amenities. We stayed in August and there was a beach every day. Meaning no need to walk down to the beach next door. My guess is based on other reviews this is not the case in the winter months due to tides, etc. but not sure. Kids loved the pool, shuffleboard and putting greens and I loved grilling by the pool. Every morning coffee on the lanai or the grass area which is beautifully maintained. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Loved this place!

We have stayed in Maui many times and this property we will definitely return to! The views are priceless and the grounds were awesome. We had plenty to do and we could walk to everything we needed. Beach and pool right outside! Air conditioner in rooms, well stocked kitchen, and good parking. We had a wonderful time! Pickle Ball courts were a bonus!

This place is absolutely amazing and perfect for families. It has more than enough space and is equipped with everything you need to have a comfortable stay. Walking distance from stores and food and just a 12 minute drive to Front Street. Breathtaking view. So amazing falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the waves.

Paradise

The condo was perfect for our family of 6. The ocean view was spectacular to have coffee in the morning on the lanai to watching the sunset every evening with a glass of wine. Falling asleep to the waves of the ocean was so relaxing. The location was perfect for the many activities we enjoyed to lounging at the pool or playing shuffleboard on property. The condo was very clean and was equipped with plenty of kitchen gadgets to make meals. Mahalo!
