If you need anything don’t depend on them to come fix any issues in a timely manner. Upon arrival, I still had not received an email for directions on how to enter the property. I went through the guard shack with my reservation number, then thought I had to physically find an office on site to check in? No! After looking all over the property and asking other passerby’s, I was told there is no office. So off I go to call customer service the first time (time lost; over an hour past check in) she quickly sent the arrival info. Then, I went to check everything out in the unit, there were some cleaning issues, so I covered the stained living furniture with sheets so we could sit on them, there was also unknown spots that looked like bug splatters in the bathroom along with hairs hanging from the mirror, toilet and long hairs hanging from the microwave, which sits above the stove. Yuck! This made me worried that there was also contamination everywhere else. Luckily, I had Lysol wipes, to wipe the counters, knobs, toilet, sinks, tables & dirty light switches down. After all this, we thought we’d go to the indoor pool since it was dark, by that time. However, there was no amenities pass in our unit to enter them! We waited until 2:30pm the next day (our only full day we had; Friday to Sunday stay). Mind you, check in is at 4pm and check out is 10am. After contacting customer service THREE more times, from Friday night until Saturday afternoon, we finally received the amenities pass to enter the indoor pool where less people was if you’re still practicing social distancing due to Covid like we are. The indoor pool was very nice- we had it all to ourselves. Then we found out that the indoor hot tubs was closed for repairs in the other building. Bummer! So, we waited for the outdoor hot tub to be sufficient for social distancing from everyone, which was Sunday morning before we left. By that time, the jets would not even turn on. I was really looking forward to that, since we had another 9-10hr drive ahead of us.
I will say the bed was good as fair as far as comfort goes & clean looking. I did take the pillows with shams and comforter off the bed, because who knows how long it’s been since it’s been cleaned after seeing the condition of everything else.
Trying to think of something else positive, booking our stay was easy to do online, the price seemed fair compared to other properties if only they would fix these issues, and the beach was nice.
