Das Pupukea-Hochland liegt über der Waimea-Bucht und den herrlichen Stränden, die als das „7-Meilen-Wunder“ bezeichnet werden, das die Nordküste von Oahu ausmacht. Waiamea Bay ist der Geburtsort des Big Wave Surfens. Pipeline besitzt den Ruf der schönsten und gefährlichsten Welle der Welt. Sunset Beach ist Power-Surfen vom Feinsten. Diese bekannten Strände sind nur eine kurze Autofahrt von unseren schönen Immobilien entfernt

Das 1 Hektar große Anwesen meiner Familie, das einst Teil einer großen Farm war, ist heute ein Zuhause mit Bananen- und Avocadobäumen sowie wunderschönen einheimischen Pflanzen, die in Hawaii beheimatet sind. Die 1000 Fuß Höhe und fünf Minuten Fahrt zu den Stränden bieten eine coole und ruhige Alternative zum schnelleren, zuschauenden und wärmeren Kamehameha Highway District. Haleiwa bildet zusammen mit Pipeline und Sunset Beach das letzte Stück der Triple Crown of Surfing. Eine 11 km lange Fahrt bringt Sie in die malerische ehemalige Plantagenstadt Haleiwa, in der Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten zu finden sind, die in syndizierten Food- und Reisekanälen angeboten werden. Angeln, Tauchen, Seilrutschen, Surfen, Paddeln, Schnorcheln, Radfahren, Segeln, Haiexpeditionen, Vogelbeobachtung und Fallschirmspringen sind nur einige der angebotenen Aktivitäten.

Die Einheit mit 2 Schlafzimmern im Obergeschoss hat einen Baumhauseffekt, der einen Blick auf den Mount Kaala, das Meer und die angrenzenden Grundstücke bietet. Dieses Gerät ist für 4 Personen ausgelegt, kann jedoch für 6 Personen erweitert werden. Es verfügt über eine neu gestaltete Küche und ein Bad sowie eine Rundumterrasse mit einer großen Veranda, die sich perfekt für Unterhaltung und Sternbeobachtung eignet. Fabulous stay and location

My family of three had a wonderful stay at this property. The host Alan was perfectly attentive and helpful. We would stay here again for sure. The location is just a few minutes drive from the Foodland grocery store in Pūpūkea and exceptional local beaches including Sunset Beach and Waimea Bay and the waterfalls. Great experience , unique property

We had fresh bananas from the property waiting for us when we first arrived. Check in was easy and straightforward. The on site assistance was so great , we really enjoyed the entire property. There are resident chickens that live at the site, plus some amazing gardens to explore. You can see parts of north shore views from the deck. A beautiful place and host made us feel very welcome, thank you!

Perfect Base From Which to Explore the North Shore

We stayed here with our family of 5. Anne called once we had booked the property to enquire about how she could support our stay with bedding arrangements for the kids - we knew we were onto a winner! The accomodation is fresh and very well maintained with an elevated deck to take in the views and catch the breeze. The location is perfect, up the hill in a quiet area but only 5 minute drive to Foodland, Food Trucks and Waimea Bay Beach. We would stay here again when we next visit the North Shore! The kids were very excited to try the fresh bananas and lychees from the garden and we loved the North Shore ideas and suggestions from the owner.

Beautiful property and spacious home

The home looked better in person than in the pictures. It was a beautiful property and the home was spacious and the beds were comfortable. The owner was very responsive to questions. I'd certainly return again with our family. Incidentally we occupied both the bottom and top homes to accommodate our family of 10 and it was the ideal situation.

Amazing location

First impression was how clean and fresh the place was when we entered. This was our fourth and final rental on our 5 week Hawaiian vacation and by far the best place we stayed at. It is a much nicer place than the photos showed. Located in a quiet residential area. Nice evening breeze cools the place down. Lots of space in the common rooms and bedrooms. Great communication with Annegret from booking to arrival! We had a late flight out and Alan offered us an extended stay on our departure day as the place was available. Really appreciated being able to stay and enjoy the beach one last time. Definitely stay here again should we find ourselves on Oahu. Mahalo to Annegret and Alan.

Calm and easy

This was the perfect little place for our family of 3. The location was awesome, we love the area and it’s just a 4 minute drive to the beach. The house was tidy and uncluttered so easy to keep clean. The deck was a great place to hang out day or night. The breeze coming through the open windows and doors felt so good you didn’t even need the ceiling fans. The grounds were beautifully landscaped and well taken care of. We enjoyed the chickens and the occasional visit from one of the kitty cats. We also had fun chatting with the owner. She makes it a point to meet all her renters which we found to be surprisingly pleasant. She was so kind to share delicious avocados and bananas grown right on her property. We would highly recommend this property and hope to return again soon.

Condo nice - poor access procedure

The apartment was as described in the advertisement. It is sufficiently large for 4-6 people. The equipment was adequate. The location is remote, therefore very quiet. The large patio invites you to relax and enjoy the sunset. Unfortunately, the key delivery did not work, because we did not get the necessary keycode for the key safe, the owner was not on site and no one else could give us access. After waiting 5 hours at the apartment and trying countless times to reach the owner, we had to spend the first night in the hotel, which cost us another 400USD. This was also the recommendation of VRBO, after we called there looking for help. Unfortunately, even after our departure, the owner has not contacted us to clarify the problem.

Absolutely beautiful property a short drive from all the best spots in N. Shore! -meticulously maintained -comfortable & well stocked - beautiful lanai was a great place to enjoy coffee or a cocktail - great location - close to grocery store, food trucks, restaurants and the best beaches! - loved the apple bananas provided by host - Must do CLIMB works zipline & Toa Luau both nearby! Oahu was lovely the VRBO experience with this owner was not

Upon our arrival the owner had no instructions or information written down anywhere. She relayed all info either over the phone or in person and quite frankly we are used to not seeing the owner when we rent. We expected to see a binder of information instead but there was none. She barely had enough sheets and towels for all and charged $2.00 for each load of laundry. The owner charged us for additional people but did not provide us with adequate supplies for the week (towels, blankets, pillows, etc). The beach chairs were old and broken. We shared a driveway with another tenant which included opening and closing a gate manually each time we left or returned. Beautiful home in the north shore area, but felt invaded on by the owners living on the property in such close proximity.

The apartment and location are as nice or even better than what you we expected from the listing and photos. Just be aware that this is the upstairs unit of a rental double. If both parties keep all windows open and make use of the generous outdoor living spaces as the climate demands, the tenants downstairs hear everything you say and do, and vice versa. Whatever TV show they watch you will listen to. If they run the dyer at 5 am you won't sleep. You get the picture... If that possible lack of privacy does not bother you, the place is picture perfect.

Wonderful stay

We very much enjoyed our stay in Pupukea. The unit is very well maintained and updated. It was also spacious even for our family of five. Everything was in great condition. Alan and Anna were friendly hosts and since they were on site, easy to locate if needed. They were generous with use of their beach amenities. The local grocery store is right down the hill which was very convenient as we typically ate breakfast in the unit and sometimes prepared lunches. And, of course, world class beaches were literally minutes away, as was the fun town of Haleiwa. We opened windows for lovely breezes at night which kept us comfortable. The only downside is that with windows open in the early morning (still dark) you can hear the roosters, but perhaps that is to be expected! That being said, some nights we closed the windows and turned on the ceiling fan and the windows were pretty efficient as when closed, one couldn’t hear the roosters crowing. At night it is very dark in the area which made for incredible viewing of the sky. Star gazing was terrific. We would definitely recommend this place to our friends.

Peaceful Getaway

Host was VERY warm, easy going, and you can tell they cared. Place was very clean, well lit, large for 3 of us, and the views/deck is absolutely phenomenal.
