Nightmare Stay
My friends and I were so excited to stay at the fountainbleu for such a good rate at this vrbo. However, upon arrival we were given the wrong room keys and it took over an hour to find the correct room. Upon entering the room we realized there was a broken safe and dirty sheets still on the bed and in the couch. In addition to this there were toenail clippings in the pullout couch. We called the front desk and after an hour they fixed the safe. After another hour of waiting they cleaned the sheets and removed the toenail clippings. After this nightmare first experience we went to dinner. After coming back from a beautiful dinner at Kiki on the river we threw our leftovers into the fridge, however in the morning we woke up to find that the fridge didn’t work and all of our food was spoiled and made the room reak. Upon getting ready for the day, one of the ladies I was staying with walked into the bathroom but stepped on a sharp piece of metal protruding from the carpet. It caused her to draw blood. We should have called the front desk but didn’t want to wait another hour to wait for them to fix a problem that should have been resolved. So instead we kept a pillow over the sharp metal to make sure no other injuries occurred. Lastly the drain to the shower was broken so it took 20-30 minutes for the shower to drain a 5 minute shower. We could have again contacted the front desk but the slow service deterred us from seeking help. In conclusion our experience wasn’t the best and I would recommend booking through fountainbleu or a different VRBO.
