MARATHON ANGLERS RETREAT in Marathon ist eine brandneue Unterkunft mit allem modernen Komfort und einer warmen Küstenausstattung! Das Hotel liegt direkt an einem Kanal (nur 15-20 Minuten vom offenen Wasser entfernt) und verfügt über eine eigene Anlegestelle (kann bis zu 45 'Boot auf einem 30' Dock), Fisch-Reinigungsstation, Whirlpool und zwei einzelne Kajaks! Es ist ein Nachbarschaftsstrand nur die Straße runter und der Supermarkt ist kaum eine Minute entfernt! Das Hotel liegt im Herzen von Marathon, MM50, gute Restaurants und Aktivitäten sind innerhalb von 5-10 Minuten Fahrt!

Das Hauptschlafzimmer befindet sich im Obergeschoss und verfügt über ein Kingsize-Bett, einen Flachbild-TV und ein eigenes Bad mit einer ebenerdigen Dusche und einem WC. Im Obergeschoss befinden sich zwei Gästezimmer, die sich ein Badezimmer teilen. Einer ist ein König mit einem Flachbild-TV und der andere hat Etagenbetten mit einem Trundle (Twin / Full / Twin), einen Flachbild-TV und eine Xbox 360 mit Spielen! Das Gästezimmer im Erdgeschoss verfügt über ein Kingsize-Bett, Flachbild-TV und ein eigenes Badezimmer. Vom Balkon im zweiten Stock genießen Sie einen schönen Blick auf den Kanal und die Farben der Sonnenaufgänge und Sonnenuntergänge!

Neben dem Whirlpool und den Kajaks bietet das Marathon Angler's Retreat zahlreiche Badetücher, Strandkörbe, Strandspielzeug sowie Schirm- und Brettspiele (plus Fernseher in jedem Schlafzimmer und Wohnzimmer, Xbox360 und Spiele)! Genießen Sie grillen (sowohl Kohle und Gasgrills) auf der überdachten Terrasse im Erdgeschoss! Es gibt auch genügend Parkplätze für Ihren Bootsanhänger und Ihre Autos (überdachter Parkplatz für zwei Personen und ein Parkplatz an der Seite der Villa, der zusätzliche Autos und einen Bootsanhänger aufnehmen kann)!

Great getaway home

We did enjoy the house, the pool and hot tub! The bedrooms on the street side are a little noisy with garbage pick up at 4:30 am and louder traffic. House location is perfect for the beach and groceries.

Great Place to Stay

Our stay in Marathon was great! Meredith was very easy to communicate with and the house had everything we needed. I would highly recommend to have the pool heated! It was perfect temperature for our kids - especially with the temperatures being cooler the days we were there.

Great place

Perfect for 2 families with teens! We loved the heated pool and hot tub. Kitchen was well stocked along with laundry detergent and 8 beach towels. Each bathroom had plenty of towels and we never ran out of hot water. I would recommend more blankets and know that the beds are extremely firm

Awesome!

I would recommend this property for anyone wanting to visit the keys. Not only is it a great location, with a beautiful local beach but it’s an easy drive to all the other islands as well. Meredith was quick to respond and great to work with.The house had everything we needed and more! I’d stay here again no questions asked.

Paradise

Everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The location was great, easy access to groceries and restaurants. We cooked steaks one night and crab legs and shrimp 2 nights. Sombrero Beach was a short drive and was wonderful. We went to Bahia Honda State Park and Key West for other beaches. All were between 20 minutes and a little over an hour. We were a group of 8 and I did not hear one complaint about the accommodations or the area we stayed. Had manatees visit the dock and plenty of iguanas wandering around. I highly recommend this property.

Best vacation in the Keys so far

The house was exactly as we expected it based on the photos. Everything clean and well stocked with necessary items. Instructions were clear and helpful. Excellent communication with property manager. We loved the backyard with the pool and the dock. So convenient to tie off the boat after an awesome day on the water! Parking under the house in the shade is a huge plus considering the heat. Overall an A++++ rating! We had some great vacations in the keys before, but this house made our stay even better this time. Location is super convenient for shopping, dining and there's even a gym close by. We highly recommend it!

perfect location, easy access, spacious and well appointed.

We had a great time at this location. Everything we needed was there and Meredith was super responsive before and during our stay. The only gripe I had was the distance in the canals to get to open water, it takes about 30 minutes to get out to the Atlantic via Sombrero Beach. That obviously has nothing to do with the property itself, just the location.

Amazing!!!

My family and I had a wonderful time. The house was beautiful! The property manager was awesome! Definitely a great place to stay. It is a 5 min drive if thsr to a beautiful quite beach. Sombrero beach i believe. Their were 7 adults and we had plenety of room for us all. The one room had bunk beds and my 6ft adult child fit on the bottom bunk just fine. Definitely recommend!

This home has it all!

From our booking to our checkout, Meredith was prompt in answering any questions we had and the home has a beautiful pool, comfortable beds, and had everything we needed to feel at home! Close to the beach and grocery store was a huge plus so you’re not wasting time driving to get groceries or to get to the beach. We had a manatee come up to the dock and we got video and pics that was a highlight to see those beautiful creatures in their habitat. We would love to come back and stay here when we visit again! Thank you for the memories!

One of the best stays ever

This house was very clean and everything was just as it was stated in the listing. The kayaks were fun, the hot tub was great and the pool was lots of fun and super warm. The location is great too within a couple miles from everything, 1.5 miles from the beach and a little over an hour to Key West. It's a great area to explore with great restaurants and lots to do for families. The hosts were great, easy to communicate with and answered quickly. Thanks so much!

Say yes to this property

This house was in a great location, the property was exactly how it looked in the listing. We used the pool daily, kayaks, beach chairs and umbrella. The dock area was nice for spotting manatee, fish, birds & to launch kayaks. Our neighbor caught many fish on the dock as well. We used the blender to make drinks and the beds were very comfortable. The are was great with many restaurants close by, the turtle hospital, fishing charters, snorkeled at Sombrero beach and Bahia Honda. Both beaches were clean and relaxing. The location is only 1 hour to Key West and a short 30-40min to Islamorada where we took the night boat tour from Robbies which was amazing, a must do. Such great sunsets and beautiful star filled night skies. The management company was very responsive multiple times we had questions or things to bring to their attention and she got back to us immediately. A great family vacation.

Perfect Getaway

We’ve stayed at a number of vacation rentals and this really stood out above the rest. Wonderful pool, hot tub and dock and short drive to the beach. Excellent amenities in the housr between TVs, xbox and clean and well appointed. Can’t wait to return.

Spring Break 2023

The home was perfect. Plenty of space for everyone, great pool and hot tub. The outdoor area was well maintained and landscaped for privacy, more than most rental homes in the area. Inside everything was clean, nicely decorated with plenty of amenities. We rented a boat for the week and the dock was more than large enough to handle our 24 ft boat. Communication with the property manager was excellent prior and during our stay. Thank you very much for the excellent home...we had the best time!

We had an absolutely amazing vacation here. We could not have asked for a better house with a plethora of amenities. My kids spent the whole vacation swimming or fishing, it was great! We even saw a manatee, nurse shark and caught a blue crab! We will definitely be back!
