Elk Meadows Pet Friendly Cabin ist eine charmante und rustikale Hütte, die sich auf 6,3 Hektar Land in der Shotgun-Abteilung von Island Park, ID befindet. Direkt vor der Haustür werden Sie von majestätischen Bergblicken auf den Sawtelle Mountain auf der einen Seite und den Tetons auf der anderen Seite erstaunt sein. Diese Hütte liegt nur 40 Minuten vom Westeingang von Yellowstone entfernt und ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Ihre Parkabenteuer. Vergiss den Winter nicht! Diese Kabine ist ein fantastischer Ort zum Schneemobilfahren. Nur wenige Minuten von gepflegten Wegen und großartigen Schneemobilen in den Bergen entfernt!

Die komfortable Küche ist komplett ausgestattet mit Kochgeschirr, Essgeschirr, einem elektrischen Ofen und einer kompakten Spülmaschine. Direkt hinter der Küche finden Sie eine gemütliche Sitzecke mit Essecke und einem 55-Zoll-Flachbild-TV - ideal zum Entspannen mit der Familie! Es gibt auch ein großes Badezimmer mit einer Badewanne / Dusche Kombination direkt neben der Küche.

Unten auf der unteren Ebene finden Sie eine weitere gemütliche Sitzecke um einen gemütlichen Propan-Kamin. Eine Waschmaschine und ein Trockner befinden sich ebenfalls in diesem Zimmer, so dass Sie nach dem Aufenthalt bequem frische Kleidung erhalten. Es gibt ein Schlafsofa, ein großes Futon im Erdgeschoss und ein eigenes Schlafzimmer mit einem Doppelbett.

Im Obergeschoss auf der obersten Ebene finden Sie zwei Schlafzimmer, eines mit einem Queen-Size-Bett und einem großen Kleiderschrank, und das zweite mit einem anderen Queen-Size-Bett und einen ausgeschnittenen Stauraum. Das Schlafzimmer im Obergeschoss mit der ausgehenden Veranda verfügt über einen Schaukelstuhl, so dass Sie sitzen und die schöne Aussicht auf Sawtelle Mountain genießen können. Schnappen Sie sich Ihr Lieblingsbuch und entspannen Sie sich vom Alltagsstress.

Great stay!

We had a wonderful time visiting Idaho, Yellowstone, Tetons! This house was perfect for us! Great location, great views, quiet area. Had all the amenities we needed! Will stay here again!

A very quaint little cabin

We found this cabin to be ideally located near Yellowstone, only about a 30 minute drive. There were convenient restaurants, groceries and gas nearby. This suited our needs perfectly. Loved the rustic touches of the house and was conveniently located away from neighbors.

Perfect home for a Grand Teton/Yellowstone adventure

My friend and I absolutely loved our stay here! Was about a 35 minute drive to Yellowstone and it was so peaceful. Perfect size for 2 but we could’ve easily had a few more guests.

A little haven of peace close to Yellowstone

My family, my dog and I (6 adults) absolutely loved this place! The area is gorgeous and quiet, the cabin is very charming and so cozy, we loved how everything was labeled! There are many cleaned blankets and towels for everyone. We enjoyed the time we had together as a family. Great place!

Great base camp

Our family of 5 came to stay and loved every minute at this cabin. The description was accurate and we had so much fun. We used this cabin as a base camp for day trips and did a lot of our own cooking. They had everything we needed including a crock pot and coffee maker. We were so pleased. I was also thankful for the great communication and effortless check in and check out procedures. Thank you so much for a great week.

Ray check in and check out process. Clean property with nice neighbor.

Checked in on Friday, asked about an early check in to allow time to heat up dinner, it was quickly granted for a 2:00 pm check in. Clean and nice property with some yard space. Would do it again!

Perfect

My family (6 total) stayed comfortably for 4 days. There are homes/ cabins around you, but you have plenty of space between you and them. We were in a minivan during summer so we had no issues with the road. But could see were winter might cause a problem for cars and minivans. It’s about 35 minus from the entrance to the West Yellowstone entrance, and about 2hrs from the Tetons. There is a nice grocery store about 15 minutes away. I would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable & Affordable!

This is a great affordable cabin in close proximity to Yellowstone. Please ask about the drinking water before your stay. Thankfully, we were able to use the well water during our stay but there have been issues in the area. Other than this, this is a great cabin and area.

Elk Meadows is a cute clean cabin. Communication with the host was great! The cabin has everything that is needed for a short trip. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes and utensils. There’s a full size stove and refrigerator. The bathrooms are also fully stocked, with towels, toilet paper and dish soap. I always bring my favorite shampoo and soap, so I didn’t pay attention of those were stocked. Trash is easy ti take out. The property is 30-40 minutes from West Yellowstone. The good thing about that is that the night sky is unbelievable, you can even see star dust!! Haven’t seen a sky like that in years!!

Perfect for the Yellowstone traveler

This was our family’s second stay in Island Park in this particular area. The check in process was easy. The only hiccup we had was the email with the check in information arrived while we were in several areas with minimal cell service, but we did get it figured out 😊. This location is perfect as our family was exploring Yellowstone and the town of West Yellowstone. It was nice to be away from the crowds at the end of the day. Even without air conditioning, the ceiling fans and the cool nights helped keep the house comfortable. We will definitely be back in the future 😊

We Enjoyed our stay in the cabin. Glad there was laundry and soap😊 after hiking in Yellowstone. Well stocked kitchen. Beds pretty comfortable, very quiet and quiet ceiling fans. About 1/2 hour to west Yellowstone entrance Outside of cabin could use a little bit of updating maybe put the grill in the back it might make the front look better the fire pit was a nice touch we didn’t have enough time to use it thanks for the stay!

Best Surprise EVER!

This was a family trip with my son and his family and our dogs. Finding a VRBO that was pet friendly in the Yellowstone area was a challenge and in the past, lodging that allowed pets were on the shabby side. I was also disappointed that this cabin was 25 minutes away from the Yellowstone West entrance. But, any concerns I had quickly vanished once we arrived. The cabin had everything we needed, clean, with plenty of room for 4 adults and 2 boys with our dogs. The location turned out to be perfect for our family adventures. We spent one whole day at the Eagle Ranch horseback riding and water activities only 5 minutes from the cabin and very reasonably priced. Island Park area has great dining options and lots of activities to do. The options and comfort of the cabin made the 25 minute drive to the Yellowstone West entrance worth it to stay in a lovely, clean, and safe place.
