NEVER RENT WITH VACASA!!!! Location was great+

Love the location! No sunrise view from unit but the ocean view was amazing!!! Great beds! Couches need to be replaced. On to the bad VACASA IS TERRIBLE!!! The unit was dirty!!! Food on dishes and utensils. Someone's dirty clothes in the bedroom. We contacted VACASA right away. We will talk to the local team was the continued response. I will never rent a property that is managed by them. We vacation at least 3 times a year. First and last time with them.

Beach retreat

If you are looking for easy beach access, the feel of home away from home and a spectacular patio. 5417 is it. This condo had the perfect ocean view and the location is great. Loved the condo set up and decor. It worked perfectly for our family. Looking forward to another beach vacation at this beachside condo.

Amazing view

Loved the location (honestly steps from the beach) and view from the balcony! The unit was very spacious and was equipped with everything we needed. Bubbas seafood house is in short walking distance and the food is Amazing!(our favorite was the smoked redfish dip)

The condo was great. We had three teenagers and two parents there. It had plenty of space. The balcony was huge. I had my coffee out there and watched the waves and sat out there at night as well. It was so peaceful. While i saw other reviews that said the condo was outdated, i didn't see any issues with the furniture or decor. It was a standard beachside condo. It's not a multi million dollar condo, but that's also not what we wanted or expected. There are 3 pools, that i don't think close, and the beach is very close. It looks much further in the pictures. We had friends who stayed in an end unit condo in the same complex. While their view was slightly better, it was more expensive and didn't have all the supplies our room had. We had beach chairs and umbrella, kids toys, laundry detergent, etc. All came in handy. There are plenty of restaurants, shops, grocery, and entertainment right around there. I also suggests the 10 minute drive down to the Hangout in Gulf Shores as well as 10 minutes the other direction to "The Gulf" restaurant.

Convenient

This was our first time to stay in this condo. Everyone says the fan makes noise in the master bedroom. It does. It just needs a few screws tightened. Hopefully they will attend to that soon. Just a couple of constructive criticisms: the sofa mattress was horrible. This is typical but it’s worn out. All that needs to happen is get on Amazon and get a memory foam sleeper mattress. Done. Secondly it may be the material but I think the sofa and loveseat have had their “run”. I work in a furniture store so I’m biased 😂 the main thing to know is it is a GREAT place to stay and I look forward to possibly staying there next year. Worth the visit. Worth the stay. Very happy. 😃

Condo review

There were so many things I loved about this condo but what stood out to me was I loved the beach view from the living room and bedroom and hearing the waves splashing. I loved how nice and clean the rooms were.

Just "OK"....

This condo overall was just "ok".... The couch/fold out bed was very uncomfortable and needs to be replaced. The ceiling fan in the living room was so loud and loose that it couldn't be used. The overall condo was clean enough--but it truly needs a deep cleaning to include baseboards--especially in the bathroom. The location however, was fantastic and we had a beautiful view of the beach.

Started off horrible but luckily got better

When we arrived we could not figure out how to get in our room. There was a code but it would not work on the lockbox that was on our door! We tried and tried with no luck. When we called Vacasa we were on hold. The recording never said they were closed on Sunday, which is the day we arrived!! My husband and I had our two grandchildren with us who were so excited after a 5-hour drive to be there but then we could not even get in our room. It was hot and we were very frustrated because we could not get anyone to answer the phone at Vacasa! Finally my granddaughter tried the code on a lockbox on the stairwell and it worked! We finally found our room key after over an hour and a half of being in the heat and were able to get in our room. All of this could have been avoided if we would have had an emergency contact for Vacasa since we arrived on Sunday. The condo was very nice and we enjoyed the rest of our stay but we will not rent from Vacasa again. There are too many other places that we can rent from where we can contact someone if there is a problem when we arrive.

Perfect place!

The homely touches throughout the condo are very welcoming. So many extras like extra soap, towels, cookware etc made our trip so easy and definitely a home away from home. Location was perfect!

Short stay great view

This property is on the 4th floor right off the elevator. The view of the beach and ocean is the first thing that you notice. It was clean and well furnished. It will sleep six but you would have to use the sofa bed for two. The only downer for us was the ceiling fans in both the tv room and the bedroom need serious attention. Very noisy on both. Other than than we enjoyed our stay very much four nights three full days.

Perfect View

Condo was very clean and exactly like photos! Perfect fit for family of 4/5. We enjoyed the awesome views from the condo and the short walk to the beach! Seen dolphins daily from the balcony! Couldn't have ask for a better trip! Will definitely plan on staying here again!

Great view of ocean

Pro’s - Condo is on 4th floor with direct view of the ocean, pool & close to elevator & parking lot. ($25 for parking pass.) Outdoor Pool is pretty large, clean & a great temperature & used a lot since it was very hot during our stay in mid September. 2019. Beach was nice & a close walk, although didn’t spend much time on it due to heat - ugh!!! Did not do any cooking, so can’t review how equipped kitchen was. Con’s - Living room furniture is squeaky & worn when sitting on it & could use replacing, but otherwise a nice 2 bed, 2 bath unit. Few minor other details encountered, but nothing major for most part. Would rent again for the price.

Worst trip I've ever taken

1) Indoor pool was way too hot, both the room and the water. Totally unusable. The kids elected not to go swimming. That's how bad it was. 2) A/C in room was broken and repairmen has come out to fix it. They didn't leave til 11pm. The room did not cool down until around 4am. No one slept well because of the heat. 3) Outdoor pools were closed when we checked in. One was closed the whole day. One did not open until 7:30 pm and closed at 10pm. First day was wasted and then the lack of sleep and uncomfortable heat just compounded the issue. Security did not even bother telling us that the pools were closed. 4) When the outdoor pools were open the next couple days, they were very dirty. 5) Toilet seat in matter bath came off repeatably.

Perfect location with beach access

This is a great location that looks over the pool and beach. Great to sit on balcony morning and night to listen to the waves. We even saw dolphins one morning from the balcony. Would highly recommend this for location and price!
