Neu renoviertes Strandhaus in gemütlicher Bucht am Lake Edward (Nisswa / Merrifield)! Dieses wunderschöne Haus verfügt über einen Sandstrand mit allmählichem Eintritt perfekt für Kinder! Nach Osten ausgerichtet und in einer Bucht gelegen, ist das Wasser ruhig und ideal zum Kajakfahren und Paddeln. Sie haben Zugang zum Dock, einem Bootshaus mit Spielzeugen: 3 Kajaks, Kanu, Paddleboard, Floaties, Badminton (großer flacher Hof ist perfekt), Cornhole / Bohnensack-Hofspiel, Kniebrett usw.
Das Haus verfügt über ein großes Hauptschlafzimmer mit Hauptbadezimmer, ein Schlafzimmer mit Queensize-Bett, ein komplettes Badezimmer, ein Schlafzimmer mit zwei Einzelbetten und einem Schlafsofa (auch Luftmatratze und Pack & Play verfügbar).
Das Haus wurde im Frühjahr 2018 umfassend renoviert und verfügt über neue Eichenholzböden, neue Teppiche in den Schlafzimmern, neue Küchengeräte und Schränke, neue Farben, Bettwäsche, Möbel, Smart-TVs im Wohnzimmer sowie ein Haupt- und ein Queensize-Schlafzimmer. Zentrale Luft- und Deckenventilatoren im gesamten Gebäude. Gaskamin für den Einsatz in den kühleren Monaten. Waschmaschine und Trockner, angebaute Garage und große Auffahrt. Der Blick auf den Strand und den See von den großen Fenstern im Wohnzimmer und Esszimmer ist unschlagbar!
Wir haben einen neuen Weber-Gasgrill und einen BIG GREEN EGG-Grill neben dem neuen Patio-Essbereich und einer fantastischen Hängematte.
Es gibt mehrere Orte (Dave's Sportland, Boats & Beyond) in der Nähe, an denen Sie ein Boot oder einen Ponton mieten können. Die öffentliche Bootsanlegestelle ist 1,6 km entfernt, wenn Sie Ihr eigenes Boot mitbringen. Der Rad- und Motorschlittenweg Paul Bunyan ist nur wenige Minuten entfernt und die Innenstadt von Nisswa mit ihren beliebten Restaurants erreichen Sie in nur 10 Fahrminuten. Ganz in der Nähe von Nisswa Wasserpark. Minigolf und andere unterhaltsame Aktivitäten innerhalb von 10-15 Minuten.
Für Kinder gibt es zwei Kinderspiele mit Betttüchern, eine Sitzauflage für den Esstisch, einen Hochstuhl, einen Babyphone, schnurlose Verdunkelungsvorhänge (Verdunkelungsvorhänge im Hauptschlafzimmer), Essgeschirr für Kinder, Spielzeug, Zeitschriften, Tischtennis und eine große Tafel im Windkanal , Brettspiele, Rätsel.

* Hinweis: Das Motorboot und der Bootslift am Dock sind NICHT im Mietpreis enthalten. Die Gäste können ihr eigenes Boot oder ein Mietboot mitbringen und das Dock zum Festmachen oder zum Strandboot nutzen.

Very nice lakeside house!

Very Nice! The steep hill to the lakeshore was a bit tough for me--I'm 73 and it would be nice to have the grab bar back in the shower of the master bath. It looks like it was ripped out or something. Otherwise it was done very well and we appreciated the house very much. Thank you!

family vacation at the lake

This is the perfect family vacation for young kids. We went their with my immediate family, which includes 2 kids under 5. The host was responsive when we had some questions about the property. The kitchen was well stocked. The gradual entry beach was wonderful and we spent a lot of time here daily. The beach was well groomed with little seaweed compared to other cabins. The one minor suggestion I had was it would have been nice to have some umbrellas or something for shade cover near the beach. We had a great time and hope to return!

Perfect for families, girls time away, relaxing!

The home was more than we could ask for. The kitchen is well stocked with Ninja blenders, 2 coffee makers (1 Keurig), great cookwear, plenty of dishware and utensils and 2 outdoor grills. Beautiful sandy beach with very gradual slope and a cute deck for morning tea/coffee, We rented a pontoon and lake Edward is beautiful and easy to navigate. Friendly and peaceful neighbors, along with the beautiful sounds of the loons. Hoping to go back again next year.

Best vacation ever

This house was perfect. We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to go back. The house was beautiful and easily suited my grandparents and my children aged 16,21 and 24. The water was crystal clear and the neighbors were so friendly. We loved having access to all the kayaks, and toys. Our only regret is not staying longer. If anyone is questioning staying here please don’t hesitate and book right away.

Girls week up north.

We really enjoyed the property. We especially enjoyed the well stocked kitchen (we cook a lot!) and all the great recreation options provided in the boat house. Great fire pit close to the lake too. Two things to check…there was a loose screw on the right side of the dishwasher that kept popping out and prevented the door from closing. We eventually stopped trying to get it to stay in and we placed it on the window sill. We also think the bass grill may be low in propane. The second burner was having a hard time lighting. Not sure but the burner unit inside Ay need to be replaced. We didn’t try too hard to replace the propane as we couldn’t get the current one disconnected. We couldn’t turn the connection.

Wonderful lake getaway

This was our second stay at this cabin and we again had a wonderful time. There is a great sand beach for kids to play on and the water clarity is fantastic! The cabin is well stocked with everything needed from kitchen equipment to toys in the boat house (canoe, kayaks, standup paddle board, floats, etc). We plan to return!

We had an enjoyable time in this Cozy lakeside property. The house was very clean, the kitchen is well stocked, the living room was the perfect place to relax and watch movies by the fireplace on a cold MN weekend.

MEA Getaway

The lakefront home at Nisswa was a perfect for our two families with 3 kids ages 3-7. The house was lovely, clean, cozy, and well supplied. The owners hit it out of the park with our kids by including toys, books, games, and ample equipment for playing in the sand. The owner was also prompt and helpful with replies. I would recommend this property.

We came her for a sisters weekend in the fall. It was very cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed the gas fire place at night. We felt very safe. The owners seem to have thought of everything. Great stay for the fall and we would love to come back for the summer!

Long Weekend Getaway

Beautiful home! Very comfortable and very clean. The lake view from the living room and eating nook was relaxing. The beach area is very nice. We enjoyed our nightly lakeside bonfires as a perfect way to relax in the evening. The beds are super comfy. Tina is great to work with - she was very quick to respond to a question I had. We hope to be back some day!

Beautiful!

This place is on a beautiful lake with great views. We enjoyed watching all the birds that visited. The setting is very quiet. We did not do any outside things, so I can't address the fishing or outside experiences, but it looked well stocked, and very well maintained. The breezeway was very nice to have when it was drizzling outside. It made getting into the house a lot dryer. You enter into the kitchen which has so much counter space, and every thing you could want for cooking. We didn't find a cookie sheet or baking pan, but it was probably there. The dishes were plentiful and nice. The living room was nice and cozy with a great view of the lake. It wasn't cool enough to enjoy the fireplace, but it looked nice. The bedrooms all were roomy, beds were comfortable, and the extra blanket available was appreciated. The bathrooms were very adequate and had soft fluffy towels in them. The pictures do not show off how lovely this home is. The decor is very tasteful. Everything is on one floor which helped with mobility issues. The one thing that stood out was how very clean it was. It was outstanding! Tina was a dream to work with. She was very quick to answer questions, and was available all the time. You couldn't ask for a better hostess. We went to Harpo's in Merrifield on her recommendation, and had an awesome pizza, and the sandwiches were good, too. She gave us some shopping recommendations that were very fun, and I found some great treasures I had to bring home. This was a top notch VRBO experience! Thank you Tina and Zack for sharing it with us! I hope we can come back some day.

Wonderful Winter Retreat!

We had a really wonderful winter getaway and this property was just what we needed. Tina provided very timely responses both with booking and while we were at the property, which was excellent. The property was exactly as described and as the photos showed - it was also very child-friendly, which we very much appreciated! We were able to walk right out the door and explore the frozen lake, which was fun for all. Thank you so much for the enjoyable stay! I can only imagine how great it would be during the summer!!!

Cozy lake house

The house was well stocked and very cozy. It was all updated and very comfortable. We loved taking the kayaks and canoe out for a spin on the lake and enjoyed the fire pit at the end of the day. Our fall get away was an awesome experience!

Ideal set up on a great lake

Our group of six including a one and four-year-old enjoyed our time tremendously at this house. The shed full of toys and watercraft was so fun to use including my four-year-old riding the paddleboard for the first time. We were able to travel light due to the pack and play, toys and sheets and towels all being included. We caught fish off the dock, including a northern and brought our own boat to get out on the lake and swim and fish. Tina did a wonderful job of communicating before, during and after the trip. There was intermittent highway noise as we sat on the beach and played in the sand but this was very easy to dismiss. The bonfires at night kept us warm since the weather was a little cooler. Definitely recommend this house for fun on the lake.

We come here every year, perfect location. The kids enjoy the water, and all the water toys.

We come up for a week every year, this is the perfect place for our family. The location is perfect, close to Brainerd, Nisswa, Crosslake and Breezy Point. The kids are already asking when we can go back again.

This property was everything as advertised and then some.....we had a wonderful stay. The property owner was extremely responsive and helpful along the way. Very updated and cozy lake house with amazing views inside and outside the home. Sandy beach with shallow waters perfect for kids to swim.
