Genießen Sie ein weiteres von Folly's Best in dieser perfekten Lage am Meer. Expansive Split-Level-Deck nimmt alle Ansichten mit Platz zum Essen, Lesen und Sonnenbaden. Große Panoramafenster umschließen den Essbereich / Wintergarten mit dem gleichen Panoramablick. Vor dem Wintergarten ist eine unglaublich große Terrasse mit Stühlen und einer abgeschirmten Veranda. Das gemütliche, große Zimmer verfügt über einen zentralen gemauerten Kamin und Blick auf das Meer und die Küche. Unsere Winter-Mieter können sich mit einem warmen Feuer mit der Leichtigkeit von ferngesteuerten Gas-Logs kuscheln. Der Zugang zum Strand ist direkt nebenan über eine kurze Promenade. Die Master-Suite verfügt über ein französisches Bett und ein eigenes Bad. Zwei Zweibettzimmer teilen sich ein zweites Badezimmer. Das Haus ist komplett mit originalen Aquarellen von lokalen Künstlern und einem Langzeitmieter dekoriert. Es ist nur etwas mehr als eine Meile von der Center Street, Folly's belebten Hauptstraße mit vielseitigen Geschäften und Restaurants. Sie sind nah genug für einen Spaziergang oder eine Fahrradtour, aber weit genug, um unseren ruhigen Rückzugsort zu genießen. Sie haben Ihren B. F.F. - Beach Front Folly nach Hause!

Amazing views

The property is dated and could use new furniture. The rugs in the house were old and worn out. The view and deck are the main reason we picked to stay there. And it was a Beautiful deck area!

Perfect location right on the beach

Location and view from deck are great. House needs some TLC, but overall comfortable and gave us what we were looking for (some quiet beach time).

Beauty of the ocean

Our first visit to Folly Beach, SC. This property is adjacent to the boardwalk out to the beach, such easy access. Enjoyed the sun room that looks out onto the beach and collects up the warmth of the sun all day. Handy outdoor shower under the house and a hose which was great for cleaning sand and salt off our dog after daily romps in the surf. I am missing our time there already. Only drawback to the property is that two of the three bedrooms have twin beds. Not so good if you have two couples vacationing together.

Beach vacation before back to school

We really enjoyed this place. The private back deck was amazing. The house was so close to the beach access. The kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable. It Felt very home like. Few things I would say in the fix column would be about updating the appliances. Our TV box wouldn't work in the master bedroom, however they did promptly bring us a Roku stick and resolved the problem. I would have liked the smart TV option in stead, like the kids had in their bedroom. Was very spacious and comfortable and would recommend.

It’s a beach house

My wife and I stayed for 5 nights and had a fantastic time. The weather was phenomenal so we were on the beach or on the deck all day and into the evening. Bedrooms, bathrooms and ocean view dining area were great. The only drawback was the “common area” and fireplace furniture - it felt like a disjointed hotel lobby with too much big stuff. Keep the couch in front of the fireplace but perhaps some brighter /lighter furniture would make indoor time much better. Otherwise - this place is great.

Outstanding spot

Wish there were more of these in the World. This spot has a phenomenal ocean view (unencumbered) and takes pets. We enjoyed our time there very much. That said, it could be even better with a little love and maintenance - still, and outstanding spot if you can book there.

Great location, perfect home layout

We love Folly Beach in the winter! It is so wonderful to explore a beach town when it’s at its quietest. This home sits on a road behind the main drag, right in the beach so all you hear is waves and no road traffic. With a big deck perched high enough to see over the dunes and a screened in porch, there are plenty of places from which to enjoy the view. It was just two of us but the set up would be great for families or group of friends.

Wonderful location but over priced and very dated.

Wonderful location but over priced and very dated. The kitchen was well equipped and the house was in a great location. Master needs a new mattress STAT. We could’ve stayed at the Ritz for a week for what we paid for three nights at this house, but again the location was great. Folly is awesome and we love the all the quirky beach bungalows, but this one pushed those limits. Very, very dated.

Wonderful house and location, but obstructed views and congested public access

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at the "Me The Sea and Bobby McGee" beachfront property. The kitchen and baths were updated, though small, and there were enough nice, white towels and toiletries for all of us. We also appreciated the variety of seating to enjoy each other's company, the artwork, and the views. I selected this property because of the split-level deck and the beach access, but the screen on the screened-in porch was ripped, and there were not enough umbrellas to go with all the nice patio furniture. We let the hosts know in the check-in message on the first night, but never received a response. Moreover, the shrubbery overgrowth around the property was not as maintained as the photos led me to believe, and obstructed the beachfront view from the deck. I also did not realize that the nextdoor beach access was through a public parking lot and boardwalk, so there were people passing through all day long. Finally, we were expecting to use the outdoor shower pictured on the listing, but the gate was locked and we received no information on how to access the area. Instead, we bought a bucket to use as a makeshift option. Regardless, we had a wonderful time and liked the house and its location.

Fun

House definitely needs refreshing, dishwasher works but not installed properly. TV in guest bedroom does not work. All the umbrellas are broken. Shrubs around the back of the house all need cutting and shaping as they block part of the ocean view when sitting. Otherwise the views were stunning.

Needs a little help

Stayed with sister and niece. The property needs some upgrading. Dog feces on walkway at the side of house, weeds so high they obstruct the view from indoors (it was chilly and windy the days we visited so when at the house, we were indoors), furniture not very comfortable, and although my walk to the beach was easy, for my sister with a walker, it was disappointing that there was no direct access.

Literally sitting on the beach

We drove in at night, walked right to the front porch and listened to the waves under a starry sky. Perfect location. Make sure to get groceries before hand. The strip can get crowded unless that’s the action you’re looking for (smile). Very cozy.

Great for a family Beach Trip

This was our first trip to Folly Beach. I was a little nervous about a new beach with 4 kids ranging from 9 to 1 yr old. It was great. The beach was really clean. The beach access from the house was as convenient as you can get without having your own private access. The house is your typical older home that has been adequately maintained, not fully updated, but charming. The kitchen drawers a old and squeaky, but the silverware and utensils are clean. The dishes are older and some mismatched, but definitely plenty and clean. The furniture is older, but functional (perfect for a family with kids). The house was quiet for sleep, and convenient for play. The deck was perfect and comfortable for kids rummaging through collected seashells while our 1 year old explored without a way out. Overall, this was a great place to stay, and we would stay here in the future without hesitation.
