Die Küche verfügt über Granitplatten, individuelle Schränke und Edelstahlgeräte. Die zentrale Baroberseite bietet auch vier Barhockersitze für zusätzliche Mahlzeiten. Der offene Essbereich verfügt über einen Esstisch im Bankettstil mit Platz für 6 Personen. Finden Sie zwei Erweiterungsblätter im Hauptschlafzimmerschrank, um mehr Platz und Sitzgelegenheiten zu schaffen. Das Obergeschoss bietet ein komplettes Badezimmer mit Badewanne und Dusche sowie zwei Schlafzimmer - eines davon mit einem Queensize-Bett und einem HD-Smart-TV, das andere mit einem großen Bett sowie einem gemütlichen Fensterplatz, der auch als zusätzlicher Schlafplatz dienen könnte ein Kind. Das Loft an der Spitze der Treppe verfügt über einen Schreibtisch und einen Drucker, um die Arbeit zu erledigen, sowie einen Zweisitzer, der sich zu einem Twin-Schlafsofa öffnet.

Im Erdgeschoss befindet sich eine große Höhle mit bequemen Sitzgelegenheiten und einem 8-Fuß-Schiefer-Billardtisch, die alle einen großen HDTV-Bildschirm bieten. Its a Birthday Tradition

Every year for the past 13 yrs I have brought my son to the mountains for snowboarding for his birthday. This year was no different and could not have been more impressed with our cabin! The moment we walked in it was a comfortable feeling yet fabulous all rolled into one. The beds were comfortable, the cabin was clean, had everything we needed and was large enough to hold us all. No complaints from any of us......we will definitely be back!!

Amazing Stay for Our Family Getaway!

Our family of nine recently stayed at this beautiful home, and it was the perfect spot for our weekend getaway. From the moment we arrived, everything was clean, well-stocked, and exactly as described in the listing. The house had plenty of space for everyone to spread out comfortably while still enjoying time together in the common areas.The kitchen was fully equipped, making meal prep easy, and the outdoor space was a great bonus for relaxing. The beds were comfortable, and we all slept well after long days of exploring. The host was responsive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay.The location was ideal—close enough to enjoy local attractions but tucked away enough to feel like a private retreat. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a spacious and well-maintained home for a group getaway!

This is a beautiful area and a very nice house; it's just overdue for some routine maintenance. We experienced some of the same concerns with cleanliness as previous guests - nothing terrible, just splotches on the floor that had clearly not been mopped, dirt and residue on kitchen knobs, etc. The hot tub was in need of cleaning (quite a bit of film around the sides), and the cover was so worn out that bits of exposed styrofoam had fallen into the water. In the kitchen, the dishwasher rack was missing a wheel, making it difficult to open and close, and the refrigerator was leaking and creating puddles on the floor. Sliding doors were also difficult to open and close. Also, on our first night, all of the smoke alarms in the house went off simultaneously. After several minutes of trying unsuccessfully to turn them off, we had to call in the fire department, who discovered that one of the units had a bad battery and had set off all the others (they are apparently interconnected, but none of us could find a control panel). That's nobody's fault - it happens - just letting future guests know that if that happens, you have to find and disable the "bad" one, though the others will remain functional. We enjoyed a lovely mountain view through bare branches, though I would suspect you would not be able to see much in summer when the trees are leafed out. Aside from these issues, we did enjoy the comfy furniture, the awesome pool table, and the quiet surroundings. A deep clean, a tree trim, and a tune-up of the appliances would make for an even more comfortable stay.

House was extremely dirty

My family had this trip planned for months and it was a surprise for my 3 children. When we arrived at the house at 4pm for check-in the house was a complete disaster. Nothing had been cleaned from the previous guests. It was very disappointing to arrive to especially for the amount we paid for the cabin. It took almost 2 hours to get in contact with someone from the rental company. They had a cleaning crew come but they didn’t do much. We ended up doing most of the cleaning ourselves. The house is nice, but desperately needs a nice deep cleaning. We enjoyed the stay and the kids had a blast. The cabin itself is nice and had lots of fun touches like games, pool table, and hot tub.

I really loved this property, the layout was perfect. All the comforts of home. The view and porches were spectacular. The hot tub was great after hitting the slopes. Bring your own paper products we ran out!

Great stay

House worked out great for 4 adults and 2 kids. The views were spectacular for sure. We got 6in of snow while there and even though the road to the house is steep we didn't have any problems. My only addition would be to add more drinkware, especially wine glasses. Also the fridge water didn't work.

Mostly good

Mostly good experience. Easy set up by the company. House itself was okay. Due to cold weather(all the woods around the house) and heater running, it made a lot of sound during night time and woke me up time to time. The one reason I cant' give 5 stars is the phone calls. Kept getting phone calls from 8 in the morning. Me and my family went there for vacation. Nobody wants to hear phone ringing from that early and it kept going on. We didn't pick it up since it's not our house and just renting for few days. It left no msg and just kept calling and calling. Wish they would have disconnected the phone cords while renting.

Perfect Nature Getaway

This home was beautiful, comfortable, clean, well-furnished and offered tons of amenities. The outside decks had amazing views and the lower deck had a wonderful jacuzzi that was very easy to use. Just what we needed after a long day of hiking. The house was in a great location on Beech Mountain with close access to many trails and other activities. Carolina Cabin Rentals management were also great to work with. We had a minor WIFI issue and they offered help immediately. All around amazing experience! 10/10 and will be back soon :)

Great relaxing stay

We had a great time at this home! Our family of 5 wanted a quiet getaway from our busy lives and this house was perfect. The views of the mountain were gorgeous! We spent almost every night in the hot tub and played ping pong ontop of the pool table. There is a ton of room to spread out and have your own quiet time if you need it. I love how the kitchen, dining room and living room is all open and you can still be with your family while you are getting dinner ready. Beds were super comfortable which is always a plus! Only thing I would warn against and I don't feel that it affects the home itself......the community pool wants 15.00 per day per person. That was a disappointment but we stayed busy with other things in the area whether it was horse back riding, zip lining or white water rafting that we didn't have time for the pool. Overall, a wonderful stay at this home.

Tree Top High

Thistle do Nicely is a lovely home with nice decorative touches. Master bedroom a dream mattress as well as down stair mattress. Some of the dishes and glasses could be replaced as they had chips. A much needed tree trim would make for a much better view. Blinds on upper windows in den would help the hot and bright afternoon sunlight. The hot tub was perfect. Never found the telescope that is in advertisement. The outside flood light bulbs in parking area needed to be changed and den fan would not run (dust on blades too) A larger table on deck would have been nice. The type coffee maker listed would have been nice in order to know whether to use pods or ground coffee. The size of home is nice for family. Bathrooms very nice, leather recliners nice, beautiful fireplace. Cleaning crew needs to clean a bit better under rugs in den. Sorry if I have focused on some negative issues but only suggestion to make this a more perfect vacation home. ( Oh, Scissors and first aid kit would have been a nice addition too. Thanks for letting me offer suggestions. JP

The home was beautiful

The home was beautiful and comfortable and offered a pool table, hot tub and more. The view was fantastic, as well. The management people were proactive to ensure we had access and called to ensure we checked in. The only concerns we had were (1) the strength of the wifi signal, which was essential since cell coverage was poor and (2) television options were very limited; we could only get local channels unless we had access to online services.

Hi - my top piece of advice is how easy it was to work with Carolina Cabin Rentals. Your service staff was always available when I called and I even received a call back once to check in. A few items that could be addressed

Overall this property was good. I have rented over 100 properties through agencies, VRBO, etc. When you are dealing with a management company like Carolina cabins, the expectations are higher because you are paying extra to have those services and in this case, those expectations were not met. A few points that could be better. Upon arrival someone in our party spilled some water and when I wiped it up, I was quite surprised how dirty the floor was. In general I was not pleased with the cleanliness of the property (all baseboards very dusty, all flat surfaces very dusty esp the basement bedroom). Upon arrival and all weekend there was a strong odor in the basement (septic/organic smell) that made spending time downstairs quite unpleasant. The master bathroom door was off the track and could not open or close properly. The basement slider near the pool table was also nearly impossible to open and close. I would still consider returning to this property as the location was great and the layout was good for two families. I just think the upkeep was substandard .

Thistle do Nicely is a great spacious cabin for families. We liked the upstairs main area but also enjoyed having the downstairs to play and watch TV. Driveway level with price was very helpful as we visited in the winter season. It is very convienient to Beech mountain for ski and tubing. Kitchen and bedrooms were nice as well. Bedroom downstairs could have used a thicker comforter as it is colder down there during winter. Overall nice cabin and very convienient to skiing.

My family and I enjoyed

My family and I enjoyed the home 🏠 it was very well put together it was like home away from home .We went down for relaxation and it was definitely there within the home my sons enjoyed the HotTub and the game room we will definitely go back on our next mountain trip it was very peaceful!!!!!

Thistle Do Nicely

Great cabin home! Several trees could be trimmed to improve the views. Would like to see a few more cable channels, at least CNN! Beds were really comfy and loved the pool table and games, Played Scrabble for the first time in years while waiting for the cloud cover to lift as the roads are very, very winding and didn't feel we knew the roads well enough to travel in the fog! Kitchen well stocked and loved the gas range! Overall great weekend staying at Thistle Do Nicely! Thank you for sharing your home!
