Schöne zentral gelegene Wohnung in Catania

Schöne, geräumige Wohnung mit ansprechender Möblierung mitten im Zentrum von Catania, nur wenige Minuten vom Domplatz und dem täglich stattfindenden riesigen Obst/Gemüse/Fisch/Käse - Markt.

ottimo soggiorno

Siamo stati con 4 persone a Cattania in questo appartamento molto spazioso dal 9. al 15 di Aprile. Ci siamo sentiti molto commodi. Dopo la prima presentazione del luogo dalla figlia di Massimo, abbiamo passato una settimana senza problemi. C'era tutto molto commodo: Il mercato accanto, il centro a due passi e anche i ristoranti a buon prezzo nel centro. Il stazionamento della macchina (SUV) era possibile senza problemi. Insomma abbiamo passato una settimana favolosa. Era una ottima decisione di prendere quest' appartamento. M.Müller

Ein super Herbsturlaub

Letzten Herbst konnten wir in diesem super Appartment in perfekter Lage in der historischen Altstadt von Catania mit unseren drei Kindern 10 Tage wohnen. Einige Pluspunkte MUSS ich erwähnen. 1. Das Appartment ist bildhübsch (in 17 verschiedenen Farben) und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. 2. Die Küche ist klasse ausgestattet (wir haben z.B. Fisch vom 2 Minuten zu Fuß entfernten Markt gut zubereiten können). 3. Anbindung an den Busverkehr ist vorhanden (auch zum Strand) 4. Romantische Innenstadt mit tollen Restaurants! 5. 2mal kam in den 10 Tagen eine Reinigungsfrau, sodass die Wohnung trotz Strandaufenthalts und unseren drei Söhnen, immer tiptop aussah. FAZIT: Sehr zu empfehlen, wir waren begeistert!!! Familie Pempe (Kierspe, Deutschland)

Perfect place

Our host Massimo was quick to respond with answers to our questions or requests. He recommended great restaurants and we enjoyed our dining experiences. The location of this property is perfect, just steps away from coffee and pastries, gelato, fresh fruit or a complete meal. We also enjoyed the sights and sounds of this historic area. Wonderful Catania apartment!

The apartment is spacious and allowed our family of four adults to spread out during our stay. It is clean and very well equipped--and was or is clearly somewhere the owner himself stays. It has an excellent location for exploring the main sites of interest in Catania. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful. I recommend the apartment highly!

Fantastic locations w all the amenities

Wonderful apartment. Host was tremendously gracious. Picked us up at airport and provided us with a map and identified all key tourist sites. Apartment is a few blocks from main plazas, large open air market, etc in the heart of old Catania. Easy to walk the neighborhoods or use taxis and trains to get around. Don’t recommend a rental car. Parking is too limited in crowded in the old city. The apartment was clean and had all the amenities for an extended stay. If you want to experience the local population, this is one way to do it! 5 stars for Sure.

Great place to stay in Old Town Catania

We enjoyed being in Old Town because we did not have a car. We were able to walk everywhere. Massimo was a great host before we ever arrived helping to answer our questions and with transportation. He arranged for us to be picked up at airport and same person took us to Central bus station when we left. We took 2 tours out of city that were convenient to catch because we were so centrally located. Massimo is a very caring host and wants to make sure you enjoy your stay. He met us when we arrived and showed us everything about his home. Kitchen has everything you would need to cook a meal. There is a huge living room, dining room, eat-in kitchen and fully equipped kitchen. Was glad to have washer. There are bars and restaurants close by, especially with Fish Market so close to apartment. Make sure to go to Bar Mazzini around corner from apartment. It was easy to walk to many sights in Catania. You can’t go wrong staying at Amber’s House with host Massimo.

Easy walk to so much in Catania

Our host, Massimo was very organized and attentive to our needs. He met us when we arrived and familiarized us with the particulars of the apartment. We were thankful for the fresh fruit, cold drinking water, coffee and toast that he provided for us! We were able to contact him with any questions and received instant replies. The apartment is so convenient to many piazzas. We loved to take off and explore the city and found it convenient to cafes for various meals. Parking nearby was very difficult. And we felt very safe but the neighborhood is in need

Great apartment

The reason for the ratings has everything to do with parking and ability to find the apartment. The apartment itself was well described. Very large with plenty of room to spread out. Well lived in with everything you need to cook your own meals. The problem is if you have your own car be prepared. It is very difficult to find parking on the street in front of apartment. Our car was hit twice causing us to have to find a car dealer to repair it. I am sure we will have to pay when we turn the rental car in. We got cussed out for parking in a spot that was on the street in front so we ended up parking away from the apartment and walking there at night. Catania is very crowded and this place is right in the middle of town. If you are planning to just stay In Catania without a car I would give it 5 stars.

Experience the heart and soul of Catania!

Catania is a wonderful city and our visit to the old town did not disappoint. If you want to be in the heart of the city and fully experience the people and places of Catania, I highly recommend a stay at Amber's House. The home is beautifully appointed and centrally located in a safe and charming neighborhood. The neighborhood is welcoming and full of activity. At Amber's House, you are only steps from the daily open-air market, an experience all to itself - fresh fish of all kinds, as well as beautiful fruits and vegetables. In the same location, you will find an abundance of wonderful restaurants and plenty of nightlife. Our host, Massimo, was outstanding! He responded immediately to every question and need. Massimo went above and beyond by meeting us at the airport and leading us to the property on his motorcycle. He was concerned we would have trouble navigating the city due to a large festival that had caused many street closures. Amber's House had everything we needed - including a great coffeemaker, hairdryer, and washing machine. This property is also someone's home which, for us, was an added bonus. I highly recommend Amber's House and look forward to returning on our next visit to Catania!

Nice place centrally located

Massimo’s place was very centrally located yet extremely quiet. It’s huge and has everything you would need. Be aware that it has a lot of stuff in it—it appears someone lives there? So best of you consider it borrowing a friend’s apartment while he’s out of town. We would stay again if we were in Catania.

Massimo's apartment could not have been better during our visit to Catania!!

Massimo's spacious, fully equipped apartment was even better than we had expected. It's perfect location close to the Fish Market and the Piazza Duomo was also near by many fine restaurants, cafes, and bars with easy access to all the sights and shopping. Massimo was kind enough to pick us up at the train station upon arrival and to arrange a transfer for us to the airport upon departure. This wonderful apartment made our experience in and around the city of Catania even more enjoyable. Grazie, Massimo !!!
