Eine Reihe von Palmetten, Seahafer und rollenden Sanddünen trennen dieses geräumige Cottage vom Atlantik. Nach einer kurzen Fahrt mit dem Fahrrad vom Night Heron Park ist Oceanwoods abgeschieden und praktisch gelegen. Dieses Cottage bietet eine bewaldete Aussicht von einem vergrößerten Deck mit einem Gasgrill. WLAN ist verfügbar, damit Sie während Ihres Aufenthalts in Verbindung bleiben können. Mit Unterkünften für bis zu 6 Personen, gibt es zwei Königinnen und zwei Einzelbetten. Ein gepflasterter Weg führt vom Parkplatz zu den vorderen Stufen und auch zur Open-Air-Außendusche (nur kaltes Wasser). Das Haus hat ein Rinnai-Warmwassersystem, so dass Ihnen das heiße Wasser nicht ausgehen wird! Es gibt Parkplätze für bis zu zwei Autos. Das Haus ist nur 150 Meter vom Strand entfernt. Hunde sind willkommen mit einer kleinen zusätzlichen Gebühr.

Perfect Family Location

If you can’t afford to be one the beach, this was about as good as it gets! The house set up was great. The location in the neighborhood and to the beach was wonderful. We went the first weekend of April and the beach was pretty much empty. The house had a good supply of cookware to make our own food (which we typically find lacking).

2nd time here

The location to the beach and bike trails can't be beat, the deck and grill and outdoor furniture are all a plus. We stay at Kiawah twice a year and this is the only place for a repeat stay, enough said.

Cozy and close to the beach!

This home had all of the amenities we needed. The location could not be beat, just a short walk to several beach access points. Nice and cozy decor, it felt very homey! Plenty of space with 4 bedroom with various bed sizes in each. And a great spacious back patio to top it all off! Would absolutely come back to this location.

Great location

The location was amazing - loved the proximity to the beach. The deck made family dinners with our extended family really convenient since we could seat 9 kids out there while the adults ate in the dining room. The kitchen is well stocked - our families also staying on the island ate with us every night and we had plenty dishes and utensils.

Very pleasurable beach week! 😁

We loved the location & great access to beach boardwalk. Great place to bike ride & close to Night Heron Park. The beach house was very comfortable and plenty of cooking utensils. Loved the large deck as we ate out there a lot. Great for our dog we brought because it’s a very quiet & the neighbors loved our small dog. Would definitely stay there again.

Nice stay

The house is comfortable and the location is great, 2 minute walk to the beach. Loved the deck and my wife liked the trees growing in the middle of it. The grill was a nice convenience that most of the other places we have stayed didn't have. All together a great place to stay, everything we needed for the week.

Amazing long weekend!

My family loves going to Kiawah. This property had what we needed. Close proximity to the beach, amazing deck, and clean. It maybe older than some of the other units but it gives it a feel of a well loved family beach cottage. Charming. We would definitely consider staying here again.

Great location and dog friendly!

We had a great time and really appreciate those homeowners who open up their homes to be dog friendly. The house is a minute or two walk to the ramped beach boardwalk. The house was everything we expected after thoroughly reviewing the online photos and reviews.

One of the best dog friendly places

We take a couple trips a year to Kiawah, one always with our two dogs. This unit is dog friendly and is the perfect place to stay with your family. There is a huge back deck with a Weber grill and extra propane, tons of grilling tools and an outdoor hose/shower perfect for rinsing off the dogs after being at the beach. The kitchen is stocked with cooking equipment - I love a mix of eating out and in on vacation so this was awesome for us. Last, the layout of the home is incredible for young families. The master bedroom has a king and bathroom but also an attached super dark room with a queen sized bunk bed (we added a pack and play in here) and our baby slept so well. It is nice having this extra space and beds tied to the master. Then another hallway with a bathroom and two bedrooms and a huge living space with TV, large couches and good enough WiFi for us to work remote and stream to the TV. We can’t wait to come back to Oceanwooods 460!

Great Stay

The house is wonderfully located close to the beach. It was so nice to be able to walk to and from in just a few minutes. You can rent umbrellas and chairs on the beach and it’s a wonderful morning and evening walk. The home is well set up and perfect for our family. The neighborhood is nice with lovely homes and well maintained landscaping. The kitchen had everything we needed and well cleaned, as was the rest of the house. We had little ones and it was set up in a family friendly manner. Everything was as advertised. It is only a few miles to a small town which had anything you needed. We would recommend the home to our friends and family and would not hesitate to return.

Great location!

Great proximity to beach! Property manager could do a better job and cleaning off deck and front porch—lots of spider webs. We had asked for an outdoor broom to clean it for ourselves and never received one.

Great location!

This villa is so conveniently located with a short walk to the beach, and close to pools and Night Herron Park. Set up was great for our family. The bunk room off the master may not work for everyone. Well stocked kitchen and plenty of room for the family to spread out. Needs attention on a few minor maintenance issues.

Tired, worn and in need of serious updating and deep cleaning

Pros: Kiawah is beautiful and the Oceanwoods area is wonderful. The beach is only 230M away and in the winter is very quiet. We appreciate being able to bring our little dog with us. TV service and WiFi were okay. Cons: This cottage is in serious need of updating. Upholstered furniture is tired, worn and stained. Walls need cleaning and painting. All cabinetry is in rough shape with thermofoil coverings peeling off in many places. Carpeting in master bedroom and back bedroom is soiled and stained. Lots of small maintenance issues, too numerous to list. We love Kiawah and Oceanwoods but we would not rent this cottage again unless the deficiencies are addressed.

Great Value

We enjoyed our stay here! Reading some of the other reviews…yes, the home is older but we knew that going into it. Still, the place was nicely maintained with plenty of homey amenities like floor fans and splitters on major outlets. The beds were extremely comfy and the home was clean. Parking was a little tricky with the two car max so be aware of that. My only other wish was that the owners closet wasn’t the one closet in the master bedroom. We had to use other rooms closet space which was annoying but not the end of the world. Wish they could transfer the owners closet to one of the two general hall closets. The patio was awesome and the outdoor shower was super convenient. It is even closer to the beach than we realized which was great. There were two ant traps by the door when we got there but we kept the place very tidy so we never saw ants past the day we arrived. I’d say guests who see a lot of ants may need to re-examine their own tidiness lol. It’s the beach in the south, ants happen. Overall we would stay here again!

Great Location - needs a major cleaning!

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location - you can not get closer to the beach without paying for a beachfront rental. The layout of the house is great and comfortable. But this house is in need of a major cleaning and some maintenance. There are spiders and cobwebs all along the living room where the wall meets the ceiling. The entire house need a fresh coat of paint. The white walls are tan with dirt. The a/c unit is not strong enough to keep the house cool. And the vents are filthy. The back door doesn't lock. The screen door doesn't close without a strong push. The key won't fit into the dead bolt lock of the front door. The furniture is new and very comfortable. This house could be amazing with proper maintenance and cleaning.
