Lovely

Beautiful property with incredible river views. We will be back. Be sure to ask for gate code in addition to the house code. Original check in information did not provide security gate code. Also, although property description said pool was open April-October, the pool was closed and we were not warned or offered alternative. We enjoyed bike riding and lots of walks on the beach.

Peaceful retreat

The marsh/river view is the stunning feature of this home. The owner knew what they were doing when they opened up the kitchen to living area so there are unobstructed views of bird life and even the dolphins. The beds were very comfortable and renovated bathrooms a very good size. Kitchen was very well stocked with pots, pans and utensils. Vacasa cleaning team did a nice job. We have rented from Vacasa at least 8 times, but this home will be on my Favorites list to return again and again (except I have let everyone know how wonderful the home is so it might be more difficult to book!)

River Beauty

Loved our stay at 87 Inlet Cove. The home is designed to take in every bit of the amazing river view and active wildlife - upstairs and down. Short bike ride to the beach. You can hear the ocean from the deck at night. We've stayed in a number of Inlet Cove cottages over the years and this one was the first with 3.5 bathrooms - nice addition.

Great home in great location

Great location for visiting Kiawah. Easy in and out, close to the marketplace, and easy access to beach. Best part is the view from the back of the home. Private and great for sunsets. Highly recommend.

Incredible Stay

We absolutely loved our time in your beautiful place. The views alone all day long make this place absolutely unforgettable. We had everything we needed during our stay. We were able to see so many different animals (including bald eagles, tons of birds, deer, and dolphins) and enjoyed spectacular sunsets every evening on the deck and down below. The beach was a short walk, the grill was in great condition, and the house was gorgeous and well-stocked. If we could go back tomorrow, we would. Can’t wait to come back!!!

Panoramic view

Inlet Cove 87 was amazing. We enjoyed the panoramic view of the Kiawah river, and the dolphins, birds, and deer wandering by. The unit has just been completely renovated and professionally decorated, so definitely has a wow factor. There were nice touches like a new Weber gas grill complete with propane, and a well equipped kitchen including popular spices. It was lovely for us and our adult children. I would not choose this unit if we had small children as it has a large white fabric sofa and white wicker dining chairs that are low compared to the height of the dining table.

Great house, amazing view.

Really enjoyed our time at this home. Clean, comfy, everything we needed including a gas grill....and the most amazing view of the river, marshes, sunsets and wildlife. Saw dolphins every day from the porch and so many shore birds. Just beautiful. Great vacation.

I wish I could give this property a higher rating.

The location was amazing. Right by the beach, close to stores and restaurants and the views of the river were beautiful. However, the check in process was a nightmare. Received what I thought was all the information via email, we arrived around 1 am and were met with a security gate with no code. I double and triple checked all my materials and nowhere was there mention of a security gate with a code to get in. I called the management office, which is a large rental company and the gentleman had to look through all his notes to find it. When I was given the code I asked him why there was no mention of a gate with a code with the check in materials and if there was anything else I needed to know about the property. He was extremely rude and kept saying, "I don't know what you mean." Very frustrating. When we got into the unit, it was fine, but looked like it was cleaned in a rush. There were dirty towels left on the floor in one of the bathrooms and the carpet needed to be vaccumed. Overall, I think they can do better with this property.

Best Views

Beautiful marsh views. Very clean residence. Great location and we enjoyed using the bikes. We've been going to Kiawah for 17 years and stayed at various locations. This one is at the top of the list.

NO AC

No AC for first two days of a five-day trip, that's 40% per my calculation...and the big issue is VRBO/VACASA knew it long before I arrived...as the technician had ordered a 'motor' the previous Friday.. All I ever heard was "hope you sleep better tonight"... no apology, no nothing. Come-on mannnn...next time VRBO/Vacasa - inform your vacationer "you'll have no AC for a couple of days"....said vacationer would love to know. And, also, OFFER them some $$/discount back - as this is NOT what I or any other vacationer wants to deal with. This 'supposed vacation' was my first in 14 years...I work too hard for this crap.

Cleanliness

We enjoyed our stay and loved the views. Overall the unit was reasonably clean, however the baseboards were very dusty and the carpets in the bedrooms were very stained, not vacuumed well and even a bit sticky. If that were my property, I would want better for my guests, especially given the price paid for the unit.

Awesome Kiawah Location

The house clean and efficient. Loved the sunroom. The best views of the river and tides 24/7. Few repairs required. They were noted by the maintenance person during our stay. We enjoyed it so much we have booked our return.

Family time!

There is Nothing Like a River View

87 Inlet Cove faces directly onto the Kiawah River and the location could not be better, especially in the cooler months. The glassed-in sun porch gives a panoramic view of the tides, the wildlife and the sunsets. It is an ever-changing picture right at the end of the living room. The kitchen is well appointed, the master bed comfortable and the living room has lots of seating. The house has seen some recent upgrades and everything appears in working order.
