Das Carriage House ist die ideale Ausgangsbasis für diejenigen, die mehr Zeit in der freien Natur als in geschlossenen Räumen verbringen möchten. Wollten Sie schon immer wissen, wie Tiny House leben würde? Dies ist der richtige Ort für Sie!
Während die Carriage House zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt als eine Residenz hinzugefügt wurde, die getrennt von dem Bauernhaus war, stammt die Farm selbst und Hauptscheune, stammt aus dem späten Bürgerkrieg. Es sitzt auch entlang der John Hunt Morgan Heritage Trail, der Route, die Konföderierten Brigadegeneral Morgan während seiner Razzia auf Southern OH nahm.
Mit seinen sanften Weiden, dem kleinen Obstgarten und dem Pinienhain ist es zu leicht, sich in einem Tagtraum auf der hinteren Terrasse zu verlieren.
Die geteilten Wege und der Fischteich sind auch ein großartiger Ort, um die Zeit zu töten. Und am Abend ist der Feuerring ein großartiger Ort, um sich zu entspannen und vielleicht einen Blick auf die Hirsche zu erhaschen, die die Weide am Hang besuchen.
Das Carriage House liegt auch zentral zu allem, was die Region Hocking Hills zu bieten hat!

Comfort and Peaceful

The place was clean, warm and ready for our stay. Amenities included stocked kitchen with pots, pans, plates etc. The heater and hot-tub was on and warm. Highly recommend!

Adorable couple's cottage!

We loved the quaint comfort of this cabin! The location is centrally located to all attractions and easy to get to. The bed is super comfortable... The property is beautiful with lots of nice walking trails to explore. The only negative thing was the extremely small shower! Also, bring extra foresters if you come in the colder months!

The cabin was cozy & cute, but very small. The shower was very small, I am 5'4 105 lb and it was very tight for me. When I viewed this online it looked like the cabin sat back off the road but that was not the case it is very close to the road and if you plan on doing more than going to see the waterfalls be prepared to drive. Overall it's a great cabin for two who just need a place to lay their head

Perfect Set Up & Location

The Carriage House is a super cute gem in the Hocking Hills. We truly had everything we need, but please note that there is no wifi and I missed that detail when booking. The space is cute, clean and has a great location. Nick and Shannon provide everything you could need and the hot tub is the perfect way to end every night after hiking and sightseeing. I highly recommend this space for your visit to Hocking Hills :)

Quaint and Beautiful

This quaint, little cabin was just what my boyfriend (now fiancé!! :-D) needed for our weekend trip to Hocking Hills. Ash Cave, Cedar Falls, and Old Man's Cave are must-sees for all visitors! The hot tub was a welcome addition to help relax after long hikes. We even had a few deer visit us while we were relaxing!

Great Location!

The Carriage House is in a great location to access Hocking Hills State Park, Conkles Hollow Nature Preserve, Lake Hope State Park, and the town of Nelsonville. It's just 30 minutes or a little less to Hocking Hills, which was our purpose for renting The Carriage House. It is small, so it is ideal for just 2 people. It is nicely decorated. The air conditioner was a great amenity as it was hot while my husband and I were there. It's not ideal for a stay over 2 nights as there is only a kitchenette; hotel-sized refrigerator and a hotplate to cook on. There is a small charcoal grill, but we did not use that. We also did not use the hot tub so I can't comment on that. The shower is tight - might be uncomfortable for a larger person. There are no laundry facilities. The TV had local channels which would come in sometimes, other times not. The host does provide a variety of DVD's if you wish to watch a movie. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck watching the deer. We did hike a few of the trails, which were nicely mowed and easy to navigate. This area is experiencing a drought so the water level in the fishing pond was very low. I think the price was a bit high for the size and limited cooking options, but it was the most reasonably priced for the area for the dates we were there.

Peaceful stay

We loved staying here - it was so peaceful, clean, welcoming, and private. We enjoyed the hot tub and the little camp fire. The bed was comfy and they had a great selection of movies! It was a great little getaway. There was no signal for us, but staying in a place like this, we wanted to be unreachable anyway. Only about 20 mins to Hocking Hills!

Great stay!

Our stay here was great. Just what we needed after long days of hiking. It’s very clean and peaceful and came with everything we needed. We loved the hot tub in the evenings. The location was convenient and close to Nelson and Hope Lake State Park where we went after a hot day of hiking on Saturday. It’s a short drive to Logan where we went for dinner both nights.

Days of Hiking Nights of Star Gazing

The place is perfectly tiny. It was our first time staying in studio space and it was so nicely laid out it felt cozy. We were just close enough to all the parks without all of the HH traffic, & the driving was a great chance to plan our time out. We brought my hubbys huge telescope planning to go to John Glen Astronomy Park. To our surprise the carriage house is in lovely open field, so we didnt have to leave the property. Which was great because we could enjoy some wine while we watched the stars dancing all night. They have an adorable map of the property and we walked the trails on our last day. They were really well taken care of and kept us cool when the temp got up past 90. Another lovely surprise was the pond on the property. I absolutely fell in love with all the lily pads and wild flowers. It was a great spot for pictures and next time (there will definitely be a next time soon), I'm hoping to get set up shots of hubby and I. The hot tub was wonderful and exactly what we needed after all those hikes. We didnt realize how close we were to Lake Hope, so we will be packing for a beach day next time. Thank you Nick and Shannon for sharing your little hidden gem and we can't wait until next time.

We're Nick and Shannon, owners of Nine Pines Vacation Rentals in Hocking Hills. In 2017, we decided to sell our cleaning business and take the leap of moving to our favorite place on Earth, Hocking Hills!
We love providing a place to stay for people, and giving them the opportunity to fall in love with the area also. Even though this is the hardest business and job we've ever had, it's also by far, the most rewarding. We hope to pass this business on to our children someday.

The first time we saw the farm, we immediately knew we couldn't pass up the opportunity to own it. Even though the Carriage House was originally built as a Mother In Law suite, it works perfectly as a simple getaway for the couple that wants to be close to everything Hocking Hills has to offer, but not at the huge cost of a fancy cabin.

Nine Pines Farm sits along one of most scenic roads in the Hocking Hills region, and part of the 'Windy 9' scenic routes. This property allows you to take in the scenery of Appalachia, without ever leaving the farm!
