Aloha! und willkommen auf der wunderschönen Big Island von Hawaii. Unsere Residenz ist in einer günstigen Lage; Flughafen, Restaurants und Supermärkte sind alle in der Nähe und der ikonische Vulkan National Park ist fünfundvierzig Minuten entfernt. Dies ist ein ruhiger Ort mit schöner Umgebung und neu renoviertes Haus mit schöner Innen- und Außendekoration. Mit 2.700 m² Wohnfläche. Dieses sehr große Haus umfasste einen großen Garten mit vielen Parkplätzen. Geeignet für Familien und Gruppen.
Das geräumige Haus ist zweistöckiges Haus. Im Obergeschoss befinden sich drei Schlafzimmer, zwei Badezimmer. Der Flur trennt den Schlaf- und den Aktivbereich. Aktivitätsbereiche umfassen Büro, Wohnzimmer und Fitnessraum.
Im Erdgeschoss befinden sich zwei Schlafzimmer, ein Wohnzimmer, ein Esszimmer und eine voll ausgestattete Küche mit Mikrowelle, Kaffeemaschine, Reiskocher, Wasserfilter, Tellern und Schüsseln.

Hilo weekend

In town for Hilo marathon. We stayed in the house for 3 nights with 9 people. Plenty of room for everyone. Amenities were good. Outdoor covered area was great for evening dinners outside. Rained quite a bit over the weekend so it was nice to be able to still be outdoors. Neighbors were a little loud at times but did adhere to quiet hours. Overall a very pleasant stay

Left early because it was SO dirty

Our reservation was for 7 days and we only stayed for 2. Checkin time was delayed because the house was not done being cleaned, stained linens, eaten food left in the refrigerator, smoke detector sensitivities, mold, mouse feces, urine stains and odor in the master bedroom, and more. I would not recommend staying here. I requested a full refund from VRBO.

Had pros and cons

The location of the house is great, walkable to lots of fun spots for food and a very short drive to Target, Walmart, restaurants, etc. The house itself is huge and could have comfortably slept more than our family group of 9 (we were four adults and five kids ranging from a 20-month-old baby to my oldest, a 12-year-old). The house had plenty of fun stuff for the kids to play with (puzzles, kid shovels & buckets, etc.), and there was a washer & dryer for us to use. All 9 of us fit at the dining table. The house is older, and the front part of the house charmingly so. Big front yard, big front porch for hanging out with a glass of ice coffee. Those were the pros. The cons were the cleanliness and the bugs. There were roaches in the kitchen drawers plus elsewhere, and NONE of the screens or exterior doors closed completely. I understand Hawaii is tropical, so bugs are unavoidable, and I am not a fan of chemical pest control – but if the huge gaps under exterior doors and around the window screens were closed, that would really cut down on the bugs getting inside. Also there was a fair amount of dust on bedside tables and other surfaces, and the floors didn't feel super clean. There were AC window boxes in the bedrooms which was nice at night; the rest of the house has no AC, which I know is common in Hawaii but just be aware to expect warmth and humidity indoors as well as outside.

House located close to everything. Everyone had their own room. Kitchen had everything needed down to dishes, silverware, etc. had sheltered outdoor area for entertaining and working grill.

Family friendly and convenient

Came to Hilo to visit family. Stayed for 3 nights. This home is perfect for families (we had 9 in our party ranging from ages 59-8 years old) really convenient, close to shops, activities and restaurants. We walked to big island candies. QEveryone had their own space and could hang out in multiple areas. My daughter immediately took her coloring things and ipad and set up on the desk area. An immediate plus for us was the AC in the bedrooms, after a long day of enjoying the island, it was nice to sleep in the AC. Mahalo to the property manager who communicated everything before we arrived. We would definitely come back!

Great large and relaxing home. Mahalo!

This was a great and relaxing home with 5 bedrooms and plenty of relaxing space for a large family. We had 3 adult couples and 1 infant. One of my son-in-law’s had a cold and used one of the extra beds to let my daughter have a quiet sleep. Front porch was perfect to sting morning coffee and watch he rain. Property manager was Hilo friendly and treated us to fresh fruit. AC in bedrooms was very nice at night. Rest of house had nice open breeze. Location was great for East island touring. Mahalo - Mark

Hilo Visit

The house was great for our group of 6 seniors. The bedrooms were comfortable, kitchen is huge. Plenty of room for the group to gather or to spread out and have some privacy. All 5 bedrooms had window A/C units making sleeping comfortable. We were only 5 minutes from the historical area and 30 minutes from Volcanos NP. All in all, great trip...would definitely stay again if I had a large group.

Huge Space - Great Location

We stayed with extended family for a wedding. The house was perfect for our large group. I was able to setup remote office far from the main living space and this made work easy. The kitchen and outdoor grill were nice, we cooked several huge meals no problems. Our son was five minutes away in campus housing, parks just down the road, shopping just up the street. Wonderful!

Is a nice big house but it needs cleanness, kitchen stove did not work properly, no beach towels, no beach umbrella. The neighbors in the back made to much noise at 6am. But we had a good time.

Spacious House

Communication with owner/property manager was awesome. Check in was just as described in my inbox messages. There is a bug issue but we ran to hpm grabbed ant bait and ants didn't bother at all. Hawaii is known for their insect irritants it didn't bother us. This home is in a great location and minutes away from everything. House is an older style home but cozy. Top floor has a Master with 1bed with a shared bath. 2nd bedroom has 1bed the 3rd room has 2 beds next to that is another shared bathroom. Bottom floor has 2 bedrooms with 1 bed in each room. With kitchen a living area and 1 bathroom. This area connects to the Carport with an area to BBQ. My family enjoyed this place alot. Enough space for everyone. Mahalo Lily and the property manager for an enjoyable stay.

Very spacious place!!

The house was very spacious, had plenty of room for the 9 of us staying there, with room for more. It was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Unfortunately it rained many nights when we were in Hilo and it got a bit loud at night (along with the chirping birds) but aside from that our stay was everything we had expected it to be. Lily even left us some fruits to welcome us which was greatly appreciated! Thanks so much!

Spacious rental in Hilo

We had a great stay in Hilo. The owner was very responsive. It would be good to note on the listing that three bedrooms have a/c, but the living spaces, kitchen, and two of the bedrooms do not. In the lower level area with the kitchen and no a/c, there were cockroaches and other insects that were there during the night. However, the location and space were good for our large group.

Conveniently located

I didnt expect the house to be that big the property is a nice size. Love the entrance to the house, lots of space if you have children. They enjoyed indoors and outdoors while we stayed. Lily was very precise at getting back to me when I had questions. Would definitely stay here again if visiting Hilo. Thank you Lily!

Beautiful, clean, spacious

Plenty of space, had everything we needed for our stay in Hilo. Owner very friendly and easy to work with. Responds quickly. Beautiful property and accommodated our family with room to spare. Near Big Island Candies. We enjoyed our stay and will recommend it to friends.

A newly renovated house that is very convenient and functionable. All activity rooms are separated such as bedrooms, kitchens, and living rooms and gyms. While this is all true, this house has a very special ceiling that is really high up, thus making this house nice and airy. You will love it.
