There are definitely some aspects that could use some attention (cleanliness in the bathrooms, space that pets can escape from around the fence by front gate, extra blankets for lounging, the television by the pool still didn’t work this year, ice makers run out of ice quickly and take awhile to refill). Overall we enjoy it because it is one of the few places that has a pool and accepts pets.

Relaxing stay at Modern Magnolia

Our family had the best time at Modern Magnolia. MM has every amenity to make your stay relaxing. The pool was outstanding and it was a short walk to the beach. The outdoor area and grill was perfect for cooking out while the kids enjoyed the pool. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. We look forward to staying here again.

Perfect accommodations

We went as a family of 8. Children ages 8-15. The home was beautiful and had all of the amenities you would hope for on a beach vacation. The pool was a plus for the children as well as the bicycles. The location to the beach was wonderful!

Definitely suggest a golf cart and taking advantage of the concierge service to schedule any extras (boogie boards, chairs on the beach etc) in advance.

We've rented some nice beach homes over the years. But without a doubt, this was our all-time favorite. The outdoor kitchen, fenced in backyard with a pool and the fact that our dog Boomer was able to tag along made this trip an unforgettable one!! We are very hopeful to return to this exact place next year!

We loved the house and all the extra amenities! It is tastefully decorated with extra upgrades. We had the pool heated and enjoyed swimming at night with the fire pit and dinner cooking on the grill. The kids loved the bikes and the quick walk to the beach. We rented a golf cart and explored all the little seaside towns of 30A!! The house was plenty big for our family of 11!

Kid friendly, large bedrooms, full stocked kitchen and a huge highlight with the kids was the outdoor changing room, TV and covered table when it got too hot in the sun. On cool nights we enjoyed the Fire pit and also loved the shallow portion of the pool for our littlest swimmers. Royal Destinations was AMAZING before during and after our stay... any issues we had (nothing major) or questions were answered and let with promptly.

The kitchen space with the island and the large dining table make for a good spot for serving a large group. The backyard kitchen/pool area (with a bathroom/shower) is especially nice. We enjoyed both of spaces a lot. The kitchen supplies such as dish cloths & towels (old & only 4) and lack of plastic ware for food storage was a problem. The skillets definitely need to be replaced.

Quick Beach Trip

We were in walking distance to the beach, which we loved is not commercialized! We could also walk to a few great restaurants or take a short golf cart ride to Watercolor and Seaside. The teens took the bikes for an easy ride all over the place including neighboring beach towns. We loved that the house has three master bedrooms and the two extra rooms were perfect for our teen crew. The pool - heated - was an extra bonus. Definitely a great house! Zero complaints from us!

With bikes, pool and a backyard it was great for the kiddos. Only two things that we had issues with is the freezer was leaking, but the owner replaced it within 24hrs. Neighbor came complaining due to the back door alarm kept going off that we had no idea how to use. Other than that it was perfect and we will definitely be back and rent this home again.Thank you for the lovely home and location.

Our entire group could not say enough good things about the property. From the time we arrived until the day we left, it was one of the most relaxing vacations I have ever had - and with 9 people. There was plenty of room and privacy for our group. No one felt crowded. The property was clean and well-maintained. We had one minor issue with the firepit and the maintenance crew was out within 2 hours. You know it was a good trip when everyone is still talking about it and ready to go back!! Our only regret was we didn't stay longer!!

The king bedrooms were spaced well apart to provide a sense of privacy. The management was responsive to requests for repairs, primarily lighting issues in one bedroom. The house was very walkable to the beach. I wish it had been a bit closer to shops and restaurants because parking was a nightmare. Maybe it was because everyone wanted to get away due to time at home with the pandemic, but there were far too many people packed into shops and some restaurants.
