Das Wave Den ist ein uriges, kürzlich renoviertes 4-Schlafzimmer-Ferienhaus in einer privaten Sackgasse, umgeben von lebenden Eichen im charmanten Sound and Sea Village von Duck. Mit nur 5 Minuten zu Fuß zu einem der besten (und hundefreundlichsten) Strände in den Outer Banks, werden Sie sicher viele schöne Erinnerungen machen. Es gibt reichlich Platz im Freien, um das warme Sonnenlicht und die kühle Meeresbrise während der Frühlings-, Sommer- und Herbstmonate zu genießen. Und wenn es zu warm wird, gibt es einen schattigen Platz unter dem Haus, wo die Kinder spielen können und die Familie sich am Grill versammelt, um im Freien zu speisen. Die abgeschirmte Veranda ist der perfekte Ort, um jeden Morgen eine Tasse Kaffee zu genießen oder am Abend ein Glas Wein zu schlürfen. Der Sound (wunderschöne Sonnenuntergänge) ist nur einen kurzen Spaziergang entfernt. Der nahegelegene Rad- / Wanderweg eignet sich hervorragend zum Trainieren, Wandern mit dem Hund oder Radfahren in die Stadt Duck. Es ist der ideale Rückzugsort am Meer, um sich zu erfrischen und zu entspannen.

Loved it

We had a wonderful time here. The house has everything you’d need for the beach, sports equipment, a peaceful screened porch, and a very cozy feeling overall. The beach is a quick walk down a private road, and we really enjoyed our time in Duck, which is quieter than other parts of the OBX but with lots of great restaurants, shops, and a terrific boardwalk on the sound.

Memorial Day weekend

This is a great place to stay for a large family or a few adults. The Hugh deck and screened in pouch are great for rainy morning or relaxing in the evening.

We had such a wonderful time at Wave Den! Everything was very clean, things were easy to find! We loved how there were things for the beach as well as cornhole! It is so close to the beach and the neighborhood was easy to navigate. Would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay here the home had all the amenities we needed for the week in the kitchen and for the beach also plenty of room for 7. I especially loved the deck for my morning coffee location was great too we did morning walks on the beach everyday!

Great vacay!

This was the perfect house for our family! Lots of outdoor space and very clean and nice inside! Kitchen was very well stocked with cookware and utensils! A short walk to the beach and a great little community with friendly neighbors!

Lovely Cottage

We loved this cute cottage ! Plenty of space, clean, nice size bedrooms, big decks and we loved the screened in deck. Great space to enjoy your morning coffee and playing games in the evenings. And a GREAT location, a short walk to the beach and the sound. We absolutely loved it. We definitely will be back !

Family beach week

We all enjoyed this cozy cottage, especially the screened porch. Room enough for all. The beach was close enough and the beach cart made taking the gear easy. Taylor, the manager was quick to help with questions we had. Nice place.

Great vacation!

Taylor was very quick to respond to any texts I sent her. The overall cleanliness was very clean, needs a good power wash on the outside but mattresses were comfortable, kitchen pretty well stocked, and a short walk to the beach! We would stay here again and stay longer!

Wonderful house with amazing screened-in porch!

Even though our week coincided with a tropical storm, I treasured the time with my two teenagers and our two dogs, particular since my son is about to go to boarding school for his last two years of high school. The host was very communicative and friendly. I asked for suggestions of how we could celebrate my son’s 17th birthday and Taylor gave me quite a few options. The house is clean and adorable. We had no problem walking to the beach and so appreciated the covered space underneath to let our things dry. The hose and outdoor shower were so convenient! Our favorite place to be (especially in the rain) was in the screened in porch!! The house is right in Duck. We would definitely return!

Just Perfect!

Our stay at this house was just perfect! It was clean, easy to find, perfect location and had everything we needed! We appreciate that it is dog friendly! We would highly recommend this property and will probably be back!! Some nice features were the keypad entry to the house, A/C, Adirondack chairs and like new washer/dryer. The location is ideal, you can walk to the beach and bike or drive into duck. The house was VERY clean and comfortable.

For our needs a perfect fit, nice neighborhood, easy beach access, pup friendly. Kiddos played basketball, volleyball, rode the rented bikes, much beach time. The home itself very nice without being over the top. The screen porch was perfect for outdoor meals, book reading, kids putting Lego 's together. The inside living area is not huge square footage but very user friendly. Hope to return.

Nice location

We really enjoyed our week - loved the location - a small cul-de-sac about 3 blocks from the beach. We mad a lot of use of the cart to bring stuff to and from the beach. A bunch of the beach chairs that were available for use were broken, but we loved using the umbrella. It’s a quiet setting and the neighbors were nice. When we had questions, the owners were very responsive.

Perfect OBX beach cottage

Taylor's home was perfect for our stay during an extended wedding/holiday weekend. The house is very conveniently located a few miles from the main drag of Duck, and a super short walk to the beach. The neighborhood is very quiet and relaxing. The house itself has all that our group (two couples and a dog) needed for our stay, and everything was clean. The outdoor space at the house really makes the difference. The covered deck was perfect, as was the front deck and space next to the garage. I highly recommend this home for small groups staying near Duck.

Easy-going OBX beach location

We had a great time at the Wave Den! 2 couples, 2 kids, and a dog for 6 nights and everyone had plenty of space. The home's layout makes for laid back living. Our favorite place was the screened in back deck. The house is outfitted with everything we needed, even the little things that don't occur to you when going away. The beach cart/buggy made it simple to get down to the beach, and the neighborhood is extremely quiet. We loved that the Wave Den is dog-friendly, as is the beach. We got to meet a handful of homeowners from the neighborhood and everyone was nice to us out-of-towners. We made some great memories, and the whole family wants to book again!

Adorabel hideaway

The house is adorable and clean with a smart layout allowing a large family group in a cozy house. There are multiple gathering areas outside with a comfortable living area. The photo of the front of the house does not do it or its location justice. It is remarkably secluded and in the early morning and in the evenig, you can hear the ocean from the screened in porch. It's a short (and pretty) walk to the beach and a nice bike ride to the shops in Duck. The owners were easy to work with and prompt in returning calls and texts. My adult kids, my husband and I were all really happy to spend the weekend there. Our one regret was our stay was too short!!

Quiet neighborhood beach

Our 2-week stay in this quiet cul-de-sac home was perfect…clean with updated bathrooms, lots of kitchen amenities for cooking, large washer/dryer, great A/C and comfortable beds. We really appreciated all the outdoor seating and the roofed-screened-in porch that allowed us to sit outside during the one morning of rain. The tree-surround provides a nice layer of privacy. Couldn’t have been happier with outdoor shower and hoses to keep the salt & sand out of the home. The fat-tire push-beach-buggy for transporting umbrella, chairs and cooler is a god-send!! We already booked our 2022 stay….THANK YOU for being a dog-friendly home!!!
