August family holiday 2023
We had a lovely 2 week stay with family and enjoyed the location.
However, there are a few points which I think you should be made aware of as they impacted on our stay:
On arrival we were told that we should have brought our own bed linen where the only mention of this was in the rental specification was “housekeeping optional”. This needs to be made clearer as we flew and could no way bring our own bed linen. The owner did kindly let us use the linen available for no extra cost.
The upstairs area was ok, but the three downstairs bedrooms were filthy and we had to dust and hoover on arrival. Also, there was dirty underwear beneath one bed and also used tissues with a used pippette in a bathroom. One of the showers leaked through the wall and soaked the floor and the upstairs shower had no shower curtain and the shower head could not be held up.
Outside: the dining area all needed to be cleaned thoroughly before use and there were not enough sun loungers for our whole party. The pool was also quite dirty.
Lastly, there were fish left in the house with no request to look after them, which of course we did.
