Perfect spot for a vacation in aruba

Communication with the owner prior to the vacation was very clear and all my questions were answered in a timely fashion. We were picked up at the airport and also brought back to it for departure. The housekeeper was very informatively and friendly aswell and explained everything in great detail. She also drove us to the supermarket on the first day, so we would know where it is. The apartment was very clean. Only tiny issue was, that the climate control was pretty loud during the night. But we just turned it off at night and the aparment was not very hot in the morning. Staying a bit longer in the apartment, so we don't sit to long at the airport was also no problem. Generally everybody was very friendly, uncomplicated and helpful. The location is very good aswell, it is only a 5 minute walk to the what we found to be the best part of eagle beach (not too very crowded during june). Also around 5 minute walk to a small mall with several great restaurants(i,e. "Red Fish"). We stayed for around 2 weeks with 4 people, we would book here again, when returning to aruba for another vacation.

Perfect location for beautiful Eagle Beach

The condo was well stocked for a relaxing vacation. Easy communication with owner and property manager. We enjoyed the location close to beautiful Eagle Beach and the dive shop. Pilar gave us great recommendations on restaurants and things to do. Easy to walk to the beach, but we often drove (with chairs and cooler provided by condo) and had no problem getting a parking spot at the beach.

Great Condo in Eagle Beach Area

We recently stayed at a condo located within a short walking distance to Eagle Beach, and it was a good experience! The property offers a shared pool and hot tub; however, during our visit, the hot tub was not any warmer than the pool.The condo is exceptionally well-stocked with extra amenities like beach chairs, floats, coolers, pool noodles, towels, and snorkel equipment, which are incredibly handy when flying into a destination. The beds were comfortable, which is always crucial when sleeping away from home, and they provided pillows in various firmness levels, which I really appreciated.The property manager, Pilar, was very friendly and helpful. We encountered a couple of snags during our stay, and she assisted us with alternative options, which we truly appreciated.Overall, our stay was delightful and we recommend this condo for its convenience and excellent amenities!

Very nice vacation spot

My family of 5 adults stayed here for a week in Jan/Feb 2025. The unit is just as presented. It was very comfortable and clean. We did not do much cooking (except for breakfast), but the kitchen was well stocked. The property manager, Pilar, was very responsive and helpful. She made excellent suggestions for visiting and dining.The location was very good. I gave it 4 stars because it is about a 10-15 min walk to the beach and the immediate area looks to be under development. However, I highly recommend this property and would definitely return. It is a very good value. Because of the location, I would recommend renting a car. The beach and several restaurants are within walking distance, but we were very happy to have the car for more exploring.

Very nice condo

Property and unit were very clean and well kept. Beach was just a 5 min walk to beautiful Eagle Beach.Pool area is very nice and quiet. Unfortunately for us the hot tub was being worked on all week. They were working hard to get it up and running. Owner and property manager were very quick to respond to our needs. We would definitely stay again

Aruba Family Vacation

Overall, we really enjoyed our time in Aruba! This VRBO worked out well for us. The location is nice because it is walking distance to Eagle Beach and other stores and activities were close as well, such as grocery stores, Aloe Factory, Butterfly Farm, ABC tours and the Hooiberg Mountain. Check in did not go as smoothly as expected, partly because our plane was delayed but also because we could not find the manager at first and then the manager's son got us into the room and said he would come back, but we never saw him the rest of the night. We were able to get the WiFi password and other answers from the neighbors, but then heard from Pilar the next day after sending a message to the owner. As far as cleanliness, it was for the most part clean but floors did not seem/feel clean and we were uncomfortable preparing food on the counters and eating from the dishes until we re-washed them. There was no all purpose disinfecting spray, so we just used dish soap for the counters and tables. We had 5 people and there were only 4 bath towels, 4 beach towels, 2 washclothes and 2 hand bath towels so needless to say we were doing a lot of laundry. The shower head shot water onto the floor the first night, so we had to use towels for that and the second to last night the air conditioner started leaking so we had to sop that up with towels as well. The pool area was wonderful and it was nice to be able to sit out back and grill out. Overall, we would stay here again.

First time visitors to Aruba

The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. We found the dining area a little cramped, but enjoyed the patio area. The beach chairs and cooler came in handy. Pilar was super helpful and we were glad she was there to help with a couple of minor issues.

Much needed holiday break

We rented this unit for a quick post-Christmas getaway and it was just what we needed. The unit was clean and super well stocked and I appreciated the owners supplying pool towels, beach chairs and coolers. And it’s a pretty quick walk to one of the prettiest stretches of Eagle Beach.

Wonderful Stay near Eagle Beach

Great place! Kitchen is fantastic with everything you need, large space for the four adults in our party, really nice beds and pillows, great outdoor space and big propane grill. Pool is clutch as well for after the beach or early morning swim right outside the door. 1st floor location makes everything easy and the beach chairs were a major bonus. Would definitely come back. A shout out to the property manager as well who was great to work with.

Wonderful condo!

The condo was clean, well equipped and really nicely decorated. The pool is great too. Our only note would be to recommend renting a car. The walk to the beach is around 12 minutes on gravel, not quite as short as depicted. Pilar was wonderful as a manager and she even took us to the grocery store. So no complaints. Just get a car or get your steps in!

Awesome property, fantastic location!

We had an amazing stay during our first visit to Aruba! The property is perfectly located with proximity to everything. The unit itself was great for us with two young kids. We were able to enjoy the outdoor amenities once the kids were asleep as they are just outside the backyard doors. Elizabeth and Pilar were easy to communicate with and helped us out when we needed it. We can’t wait to come back!

Perfect Stay, Great Location

Great property only 5 minutes walk to the beach. The unit was well equipped with beach chairs, coolers, noodles, and other beach items. Nice assortment of kitchen items to prepare meals and a grill. Responsive management and well maintained grounds. The pool was great to play in when taking a break from the beach.

Just perfect

Super nice spacious place, way above our needs for 2 people but is was nice to have such a nice place for our vacation. Quiett place, we were able to really rest, unlike in hotels where you can hear everything and have tons of people around making noise. Yet very central location with easy and quick access to everything by car (we had private parking and key to electric gate). Eagle beach is 5 minute walk. Apartment had everything and than some - beach chairs, coolers, even swim equipment. Highly recomend!

2nd Trip to Aruba, 1st in a VRBO Property-GREAT

Aruba is a great place to relax and spend time together and this property is perfect. Believe that it is literally, a 5-7 EASY walk to the beach near other condos and properties (and the adorable Eduardo's beach shack for coffee and fresh juices) and...there you are on the blissful Eagle Beach. Other renters/owners were lovely and social and we enjoyed every aspect of this place. Quite a nice kitchen and covered outdoor patio near the pool. Never turned a TV on (that's not why we are there!) but our foursome felt like we had plenty of space and all the amenities. The washer/dryer allowed us to pack less and thankfully an iron helped us prepare for a few nicer dinners. THANK YOU to Pilar as well...she and the other staff we saw on site were fantastic. First trip to Aruba? You know that this will feel comfortable for you if you are not used to the layout and how the island looks and feels (laid back, tropical, and not always sparkly and new).

Quit Tropical Oasis near Eagle Beach

We had a great time staying at Sunset Residences. Our condo was spacious and well stocked. The check-in/check-out was easy. The backyard garden and pool felt like our own tropical oasis and Eagle Beach (our favorite) was just a few minutes away. Would recommend.

Soooo amazing!

We had everything we needed, and the unit was very nice. Easy walk to beach. The onsite staff was also on top of every thing, with a special shout out to Pilar (sp) who kept the grounds clean and beautiful. We will be back!

Nice Property

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. It was a 5 minute walk to the beach and we appreciated the use of the chairs and cooler. We loved having coffee at the outside patio table and the first floor location to the pool was perfect. We would have liked to have used the gym but it was a very small space and very hot room (we didn’t try turning on the AC but it was available) As others mentioned, the kitchen was well stocked with multiple appliances and gadgets. Thank you for the wonderful accommodations. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Aruba.

Responsive host, pleasant stay

This was our first trip to Aruba. We booked this back in March 2023 for the last week of December 2023. Elizabeth is timely and responsive and informative. We appreciated that tremendously. The place is very nice two bedroom access to the pool. We’ve done a lot of VRBO’s and this is by far the best stocked kitchen, including rice cooker, air fryer, scotch goblets too! The property manager, Pilar, met us at check-in as well as check out. It was nice to have someone we could reach out to if we had any issues. Super clean unit. we have a 10 year old and 14 year year-old so having laundry machine in the unit as well as a couple of beach chairs and a cooler was a nice added bonus. I’m glad we ended up renting a car it made getting to the grocery store easy. the unit is five minute walk to Eagle Beach. If we didn’t have a car unit is 5 minute walk to Beach. If we didn’t have a car, no problem. However, because we did have a car, it was just easier to put the chairs, cooler, stuff into the trunk and drive over. There’s always plenty of parking. For the car rental we went with Top Drive. they have an offsite location at the Manchebo Beach resort, which is a 10 minute walk from the condo - we did a three day rental in the middle of our stay and it was super convenient. And also a chance to explore the island. airport is about a 15 to 20 minute drive. We arranged a private car transfer RT. Plan to return to Aruba and would happily stay at Elizabeth’s place.

Great condo and location

This is a great condo, with a short walk to an amazing stretch of Eagle Beach. We appreciated the beach chairs, cooler, and beach towels provided. Great to have a washer and dryer in the unit. Tip: don't leave the fridge or freezer open too long or an alarm will sound that we could only turn off by unplugging the fridge. But a very well-stocked kitchen with more small appliances than I have at home! (air fryer, instapot, etc.) We got around the immediate area fine without a car for a few days, then rented one for a few days to conveniently access other parts of the island and more restaurants (Papiamento is a really beautiful setting, and Reimundo (previously Gasparitos) was great too for local food). Thanks to Pilar for the car rental recommendation. Check in and check out was easy, and owner and property manager were great communicators. We recommend!

Nice Short Stay

It was great getting into the unit early thanks to Elizabeth. The unit was clean and was well equipped. However, we found the beds to be very hard. Nice area, close to everything, especially the beach. Supermarket nearby (but don't go on a Saturday). Would recommend and we would stay there again if we return to Aruba.
