This cabin is in the top 3 we have stayed in at Beavers Bend/Broken Bow. The lot is spacious, perfect for parking a boat and a couple of cars. The firepit was a nice distance from the house and we spent every night sitting in the comfortable Adirondack chairs. The cabin was stocked with quality dishes, plenty of flatware, and more utensils/pots & pans options than most cabins I've seen. Loved the choice of decor, also high quality, as well as the layout. My only complaints/disappointments with the stay were that they didn't provide paper towels in the kitchen or handsoap in bathrooms, both are necessities for a 3 night stay w/ kids and lots of cooking. And, sadly, the bedroom we stayed in w/ a queen bed was one of the most uncomfortable beds I've ever slept on....we had to purchase a $60 tempurpedic mattress pad to avoid aching shoulders, necks and backs for the remainder of our stay. If the owners would invest in a better mattress, I would love to stay at the cabin again, but this would deter me from any future stays because of how uncomfortable it was. Our children stayed in the bunk room and it was perfect for two boys, the top bunk has a nice rail (which was a necessity to make me feel comfortable with having my 5 year old sleep there). My last comment would be that the cleaning crew could have swept/vacuumed a bit better prior to our stay, some previous guest must have had a large dog that shed a lot in the cabin because we found large hair clumps all weekend. All in all, it is a beautiful home and was a fantastic weekend, with a few tweaks I would've given it 5 stars.
